Title: การศึกษาเชิงคติชนวิทยา : การตั้งชื่อคลองและชื่อบ้านในเขตอำเภอบางเสาธง จังหวัดสมุทรปราการ Authors: พรรณศิริ แจ่มอรุณ; วุฒิพงษ์ ทองก้อน; กชพร ขวัญทอง; Phansiri Jama-roon; Wuthipong Thongkon; Kodchaporn Kwanthong Abstract: รายงานการวิจัยเรื่องนี้ มีความมุ่งหมายเพื่อศึกษาประวัติและความเป็นมาของการตั้งชื่อคลองและชื่อหมู่บ้านริมคลองในอำเภอบางเสาธง จังหวัดสมุทรปราการ และเพื่อศึกษาบทบาทและความสำคัญของคลองที่เปลี่ยนแปลงจากอดีตสู่ปัจจุบัน เป็นการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ ที่เน้นศึกษาจากการลงภาคสนามและเอกสารเป็นสำคัญ โดยวิธีการสัมภาษณ์แบบไม่เป็นทางการ กลุ่มเป้าหมายคือผู้สูงอายุในท้องถิ่น นักวิชาการท้องถิ่น ผู้นำชุมชน พระภิกษุ รวมทั้งศึกษาจากเอกสารราชการ งานเขียนกึ่งวิชาการ บันทึกท้องถิ่น หนังสืออนุสรณ์งานฌาปนกิจ แผนที่คลองในอดีตและปัจจุบัน และลงภาคสนามสังเกตลักษณะทางกายภาพของคลองและสถานที่ๆ เกี่ยวข้อง โดยมีการตรวจสอบข้อมูลโดยใช้เทคนิคการตรวจสอบสามเส้า (Traingulation) ผลการวิจัยพบว่า การตั้งชื่อคลองและชื่อหมู่บ้านในอำเภอบางเสาธง จังหวัดสมุทรปราการ ชื่อส่วนใหญ่คนในท้องถิ่นตั้งกันเองตามชื่อบุคคลที่อยู่ในคลองหรือลักษณะโดดเด่นของคลอง เช่น ชื่อพืชพันธุ์ไม้ ขนาดหรือทิศทางของคลอง ภูมิประเทศ สัตว์ สิ่งก่อสร้าง กริยาการกระทำ เครื่องใช้ไม้สอย และความเชื่อหรือตำนาน ตามลำดับ เพื่อจดจำได้ง่ายและสะดวกในการสื่อสารให้เข้าใจได้ตรงกัน บทบาทและความสำคัญของคลองจากอดีตสู่ปัจจุบันมีความเปลี่ยนแปลงไปตามบริบทของการพัฒนาทางเศรษฐกิจของประเทศในช่วงหลัง คลองในอดีตที่เคยมีความสำคัญเป็นต้นกำเนิดของชุมชน แหล่งเศรษฐกิจทำกินและเส้นทางคมนาคมหลัก เปลี่ยนไปเมื่อถนนตัดผ่าน ก็ก่อเกิดความเจริญทางเศรษฐกิจ เกิดพื้นที่ธุรกิจ อุตสาหกรรมและหมู่บ้านแห่งใหม่ของคนต่างถิ่นอยู่ตามแนวถนน และมีรูปแบบสังคมเมือง ส่วนหมู่บ้านที่อยู่ติดคลองเปลี่ยนเป็นรูปแบบกึ่งเมืองกึ่งชนบท; This research aimed at the study of the history and some backgrounds of how to name the canals and villagers along them in Bangsaothong District, Samut Prakarn Province. It also aimed at the study of the roles and the importance of the canals that have been changing from the past to present. It is a qualitative research emphasizing on filed work and documentation. Informal interviews with the elderly in the district, local scholars, community leaders and the monks were used. Moreover, the study included the government documentation: semi-academic writings, local records, memorial pamphlets of some funerals and cremations, the maps of all canals in the past and present time; and looking at the physical features of the canals and related places. There was an examination of all information using "Triangulation Techniques". It was found that most of the canals and villages in Bangsaothong District, Samut Prakarn Province were named by people in the areas using the names of some important people living in the canals or the unique features of the canals like the names of the plants in the areas, the sizes or the directions of the canals, the topography of the areas, the animals, the structures, the behaviors, the instruments, and the beliefs or legends, respectively, to help people easily remember them for convenient communication and good understanding. Later, the roles and importance of the canals from the past to present have been changing according to the economic development of the country. The canals in the past which were used to be important as the original of the community, economic areas for people to earn their living, and the main communication routes, have become the economic growth with business areas, industries, and new villages of newcomers along the roads with urbanization. The villagers along the canal have changes into semi-urban-rural societies. Title: ความเชื่อ พิธีกรรม และบทบาทของศาลเจ้าจีนในชุมชนหัวตะเข้ เขตลาดกระบัง กรุงเทพมหานคร Authors: Lan Qiaoyun; ธีรโชติ เกิดแก้ว; Teerachoot Kerdkaew Abstract: บทความวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาความเชื่อ พิธีกรรม และบทบาทของศาลเจ้าจีนในชุมชนหััวตะเข้ เขตลาดกระบัง กรุงเทพมหานคร ใช้ระเบียบวิธีวิจัยเชิงคุณภาคโดยศึกษาจากการเก็บข้อมูลภาคสนามด้วยวิธีการสังเกตแบบไม่มีส่วนร่วมและการสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึกกับผู้ให้ข้อมูลสำคัญ จำนวน 42 คน ที่คัดเลือกด้วยวิธีแบบเจาะจงและไม่เจาะจง วิเคราะห์และนำเป็นผลการศึกษาแบบพรรณนาวิเคราะห ผลการศึกษาพบความเชื่อสำคัญที่สัมพันธ์กับปัญหาชีวิิตของผู้ศรัทธาในศาลเจ้าจีนทั้ง 3 แห่งในพื้นที่วิจัย 5 ด้าน ได้แก่ ด้านอาชีพการงาน สุขภาพ ความปลอดภัยในชีวิต โชคลาภเงินทองและการขอบุตร พิธีกรรมที่พบเป็นพิธีกรรมในรอบปีตามเทศกาลสำคัญของชาวจีน ได้แก่ เทศกาลตรุษจีน เทศกาลสารทจีน เทศกาลกินเจ ที่สะท้อนถึงวัฒนธรรมที่มีชีวิต ซึ่งดำรงอยู่ผ่านความศรัทธาและการสืบทอดอย่างต่อเนื่อง และบทบาทของศาลเจ้าจีนพบ 4 ด้านสำคัญ ได้แก่ ด้านจิตใจ เศรษฐกิจ สัังคม และวัฒนธรรมในฐานะศูนย์รวมทางใจที่ช่วยหล่อเลี้ยงความหวัง ความศรัทธา เป็นที่พึ่งยึดเหนี่ยวทางใจ เสริมสร้างความสามัคคี เศรษฐกิจ การท่องเที่ยวเชิงวัฒนธรรมของชุมชน และธำรงอัตลักษณ์ทางวัฒนธรรมของคนไทยเชื้อสายจีนไว้ให้คงอยู่ต่อไปในอนาคต; This research article aims to study beliefs, rites and roles of Chinese Shrines in Hua-ta-ke Community, Ladkrabang District, Bangkok. Qualitative research methodology is applied in documentary study; field trips of data gathering; non-participating observations; and in-depth interviewing of forty-two informants, particularly and non-particularly selected. Research findings are reported as a descriptive analysis. The research finds five aspects of beliefs related to problems in life of the shrine supporters, of three shrines in the area studied, namely about professions; health; safety in life; luck and requests for children. For rites, they are annual practices during major festivals, which are Chinese New Year; Ghost Festival; and Vegetarian Festival. The rites reflect the living culture practiced continuingly through the faith and preservation of people. For roles of the shrines, four main aspects are recognized, including mental; economic; social; and cultural. The shrines are like the center providing hope; faith; spiritual refuge; unity; incomes from cultural tourism in the community; and preservation of cultural identities of the Thai - Chinese people, which is expected to last long to the future. Title: Cross-Cultural Adaptation and Communication of Thai Daughters-in-Law Abroad: A Case Study of the YouTube Channel Jayy Crane Authors: Kittipong Phumpuang; Nang Woe Kham; Jansuda Chaiprasert; Patcharin Buranakorn; กิตติพงษ์ พุ่มพวง; จันทร์สุดา ไชยประเสริฐ; พัชรินทร์ บูรณะกร Abstract: This research article, titled “Cross-Cultural Adaptation and Communication of Thai Daughters-in-Law Abroad: A Case Study of the YouTube Channel Jayy Crane” aims to analyze the adaptation and cross-cultural communication strategies of Thai daughters-in-law abroad: A Case Study of the YouTube Channel Jayy Crane. The researcher selected a purposive sample, namely four video clips from the YouTube channel named Jayy Crane that had the most views. The research methodology employed documentary research and textual analysis of video clips. Cross-cultural communication theory is then employed as a framework for analysis, utilising the Integrative Model of Cross-Cultural Adaptation theory of Young Yun Kim (2001). This model posits that cross-cultural adaptation is a process of integrating the acquisition of a new language and culture with one’s original identity, culminating in the ability to coexist within that society. The results of the research were presented in a descriptive analysis format. The study identified two main aspects of “Thai living.” The first concerns food, exemplified by a video promoting Thai cuisine internationally, reflecting cross-cultural integration and the dissemination of “Thainess” by Thais abroad. The second relates to language use, with Thai employed alongside English in programs for narrative interpretation and language instruction. Accurate and intelligible Thai usage was observed, underscoring its cultural significance. In academic contexts, English predominates, yet Thai translations and explanations appear consistently, indicating adaptation to foreign cultures while maintaining core elements of Thainess. Title: ภาพแทนผู้หญิงในนวนิยายแนว Romantic Suspense ของปองวุฒิ รุจิระชาคร Authors: หวัง ชิงหัว; Wang Qinghua; วีรวัฒน์ อินทรพร; Weerawat Intaraporn Abstract: บทความนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อวิเคราะห์ภาพแทนผู้หญิงในนวนิยายแนว Romantic Suspense ของปองวุฒิ รุจิระชาคร จำนวน 10 เรื่อง โดยประยุกต์ใช้แนวคิดภาพแทนเป็นหลัก การวิเคราะห์ตัวบทนวนิยายและนำเสนอผลการวิจัยเชิงพรรณนาวิเคราะห์ ผลการวิจัยพบว่าในนวนิยายแนว Romantic Suspense ของปองวุฒิ รุจิระชาคร มีการนำเสนอภาพแทนผู้หญิงตามบทบาทและลักษณะของผู้หญิงในสังคมร่วมสมัยใหม่ที่ไม่ยอมจำนนต่อโชคชะตา แต่สามารถกำหนดเส้นทางชีวิตด้วยความสามารถ ความรับผิดชอบ และสติปัญญา นอกจากนี้ ยังพบว่าผู้เล่าเรื่องเลือกใช้ภาษามาแสดงให้เห็นถึงความกลัว ความหวัง ความอ่อนโยน และความมุ่งมั่นของตัวละครหญิงได้อย่างลึกซึ้ง ได้แก่ 1) ภาพแทนผู้หญิงจิตใจ เข้มแข็งคือ ผู้หญิงที่สามารถควบคุมอารมณ์ มีสติ 2) ภาพแทนผู้หญิงที่มีความกล้าหาญคือ ผู้หญิงที่แม้หวาดกลัว แต่ยังกล้าตัดสินใจและเผชิญอันตรายอย่างเด็ดเดี่ยว 3) ภาพแทนผู้หญิงที่มีความรู้ความสามารถคือ ผู้หญิงได้รับการศึกษา มีอาชีพมั่นคง 4) ภาพแทนผู้หญิงที่สามารถพึ่งพาตนเองคือ ผู้หญิงกล้าตัดสินใจ ไม่รอความช่วยเหลือ และใช้ถ้อยคำเน้นความมั่นใจและเด็ดเดี่ยวของตัวละครเอกหญิง 5) ภาพแทนผู้หญิงที่อ่อนโยนและมีเมตตาคือ เข้าใจผู้อื่นแม้ในยามเจ็บปวด ผลการวิจัยชี้ให้เห็นว่านวนิยายของปองวุฒิ รุจิระชาครได้สร้างภาพแทนใหม่ของผู้หญิงไทยในแนว Romantic Suspense ที่ผสมผสาน “ความรัก” กับ “ความกล้าหาญ” อย่างมีมิติ สะท้อนแนวคิดสตรีนิยมร่วมสมัย สามารถเป็นแนวทางในการศึกษาต่อยอดเกี่ยวกับพัฒนาการของจิตหญิงและบทบาทของเพศหญิงในวรรณกรรมแนวระทึกขวัญ–โรแมนติกของนักเขียนไทยรุ่นใหม่ในอนาคต; This article aims to analyze the representation of women in ten Romantic Suspense novels by Pongwut Rujirachakorn, employing the concept of “representation” as the main theoretical framework. The study utilizes textual analysis and presents the results in a descriptive-analytical manner. The findings reveal that the novels depict women as modern individuals who refuse to succumb to fate but are capable of determining their own life paths through competence, responsibility, and intelligence. Additionally, the narrator’s language effectively conveys the characters’ fear, hope, tenderness, and determination. The representations can be categorized as follows: 1) Strong-willed women those who can control their emotions, remain composed. 2) Courageous women those who, despite being afraid, dare to make decisions and face danger resolutely. 3)Knowledgeable and capable women those with education and stable careers. 4) Independent women those who make decisions without waiting for help. 5) Gentle and compassionate women those who understand others even in times of pain. The study reveals that Pongwut Rujirachakorn’s Romantic Suspense novels construct a new representation of Thai women—one that harmoniously combines “love” and “courage” in a multidimensional way. This reflects contemporary feminist perspectives and provides a foundation for further studies on the development of women’s consciousness and gender roles in modern Thai romantic-thriller literature.
