เปรียบเทียบวิธีการตรวจหาพยาธิเข็มหมุดด้วยวิธีสก๊อตเทปและตะกอนจากน้ำล้างมือ

Abstract

การศึกษาเกี่ยวกับการติดเชื้อพยาธิเข็มหมุดในเด็กอายุระหว่าง 2-8 ขวบ ในเขตตำบลโพธิ์ประสาท อำเภอไพศาลี จังหวัดนครสวรรค์ โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อเปรียบเทียบวิธีการตรวจหาพยาธิเข็มหมุดด้วยวิธีสก๊อตเทปและวิธีตรวจตะกอนจากน้ำล้างมือ (Scotch tape technique and Hand washing water sedimentation technique) และศึกษาความชุกของการติดเชื้อพยาธิเข็มหมุด โดยทำการเก็บตัวอย่างเพื่อตรวจหาไข่ของพยาธิเข็มหมุดในช่วงเดือนมีนาคม 2554 ในเด็กอายุระหว่าง 2-8 ขวบ จำนวนทั้งหมด 76 ราย จากโรงเรียนบ้างวังทองประชานุกูล จำนวน 20 ราย โรงเรียนบ้านโค้งสวอง จำนวน 22 ราย โรงเรียนบ้านบ่อไทยสามัคคี จำนวน 34 ราย ผลการวิจัยตรวจพบพยาธิเข็มหมุดโดยวิธี Scotch tape technique จำนวน 14 ราย คิดเป็น 18.42% และวิธี Hand washing water sedimentation technique จำนวน 0 ราย คิดเป็น 0% นอกจากนี้ยังมีการตรวจพบไข่ของ Ascaris spp. และไข่ของ Taenis spp. โดยไข่ของ Ascaris spp. พบโดยวิธี Hand washing water sedimentation technique เท่านั้น จำนวน 2 ราย คิดเป็นร้อยละ 2.63 และไข่ของ Taenia spp. พบโดยวิธี scotch tape technique เท่านั้น จำนวน 1 ราย คิดเป็น 1.32% จากการวิจัยนี้บ่งชี้ให้เห็นว่าข้อมูลที่ได้สำคัญสำหรับใช้เป็นแนวทางด้านการสาธารณสุชในการให้ความรู้กับประชาชน วิธีการรักษา และการควบคุมป้องกันการแพร่กระจายของโรคพยาธิ

This is a study of the prevalence of pinworms in children between 2-8 years old in Poprasat sub district, Paisalee district, Nakornsawan province. The objective of this study are comparison of methods for Enterobiusevermicularis identification between scotch tape technique and hand washing water sedimentation techniques and prevalence of Enterobiasis. The samples were collected in March of 2011 among 76 of children between 2-8 years old: 20 from Barn-Wangtong Prachanukul School, 22 from Barn-Kongsawong School, and 34 from Barn-Bothai-Samukkee School. Pinworms were found via the scotch tape technique in 14 cases or 18.42% and 0 via the hand washing water sedimentation technique at 0%. Furthermore, eggs from Ascaris spp. And Taenia spp. were also found. The eggs from Ascaris spp. were only found through the Hand washing water sedimentation technique and was found in 2 cases or 2.63% while the eggs of Taenia spp. were only found through the scotch tape technique and was found in only 1 case or 1.32%. The information derived from this research is very important for the public health in providing information to the people as well as how to treat and how to control the spreading of parasitic infections.
