| Abstract: | Verbs, as the core component of sentences, occupy a pivotal position in Chinese language teaching. The abundance of action verbs and the prominent issue of errors associated with them present significant challenges. Furthermore, several existing Chinese learning dictionaries face limitations, such as inaccurate selection of discriminatory word pairs and complex interpretations. Consequently, this paper aims to examine five commonly used Chinese learning dictionaries, focusing on the inclusion of easily confused action verbs and analyzing their lexical discrimination. Through this investigation, we hope to provide targeted suggestions for improving the compilation of Chinese learning dictionaries. |
