พฤติกรรมป้องกันภาวะแทรกซ้อนของผู้ป่วยโรคเบาหวานที่มารับบริการโรงพยาบาลส่งเสริมสุขภาพตำบลแห่งหนึ่ง อำเภอบางพลี จังหวัดสมุทรปราการ

Abstract

การวิจัยเชิงพรรณานี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาความรู้เกี่ยวกับโรคเบาหวาน และพฤติกรรมป้องกัน ภาวะแทรกซ้อนของผู้ป่วยโรคเบาหวานที่มารับบริการในโรงพยาบาลส่งเสริมสุขภาพตำบลแห่งหนึ่ง อำเภอบางพลี จังหวัดสมุทรปราการ รวมทั้งศึกษาความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างความรู้เกี่ยวกับโรคเบาหวาน และพฤติกรรมป้องกันภาวะแทรกซ้อน กลุ่มตัวอย่างคือผู้ป่วยโรคเบาหวานที่มารับบริการในโรงพยาบาล ส่งเสริมสุขภาพตำบลแห่งหนึ่ง อำเภอบางพลี จังหวัดสมุทรปราการ จำนวน 150 ราย ได้มาจากการสุ่ม ตัวอย่างแบบมีระบบ เก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลโดยใช้แบบสอบถาม วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้จำนวน ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และการทดสอบไคสแควร์ ผลการวิจัย พบว่า ผู้ป่วยโรคเบาหวานที่เป็นกลุ่มตัวอย่างมีความรู้เกี่ยวกับโรคเบาหวานอยู่ใน ระดับปานกลาง พฤติกรรมป้องกันภาวะแทรกซ้อนอยู่ในระดับเหมาะสมมาก ในรายด้านพบว่า ด้านการ ควบคุมอาหาร ด้านการออกกำลังกาย ด้านการดูแลตนเองขณะเจ็บป่วย ด้านการใช้ยา และด้าน การป้องกันภาวะแทรกซ้อนอยู่ในระดับเหมาะสมมาก ส่วนด้านอารมณ์และจิตใจอยู่ในระดับเหมาะสมปานกลาง ความรู้เกี่ยวกับโรคเบาหวานมีความสัมพันธ์กับพฤติกรรมป้องกันภาวะแทรกซ้อนของผู้ป่วย โรคเบาหวาน อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ 0.05 (p-value < 0.05)

The major purpose of this descriptive study was to describe the knowledge about diabetes mellitus and behavior in prevention of complications of diabetic patients in a health promoting hospital, Bang Phli District, Samutprakan province. In addition, the associated between knowledge about diabetes mellitus and preventing of complications behavior of diabetics was also examined. One hundred and fifty diabetic patients who received health services were systematic randomly recruited in a health promoting hospital. Data were obtained by using questionnaires and analyzed by percentage, mean, standard deviation and chi square. The results showed that knowledge about diabetic was in a moderate level whereas the behaviors in prevention of complications of diabetes patients were in a high level. It was also found that food control, physical activities, self-care while illness, medications, and prevention of complications were in a high level, whereas the stress management was in a moderate level. The knowledge about diabetes mellitus had statistical significant relationship (p-value < 0.05) with the behavior in prevention of complications of diabetic patients in the health promoting hospital.
