วัคซีนป้องกันเชื้อ HPV : บทบาทพยาบาลในการส่งเสริมสุขภาพ และการป้องกันโรคมะเร็งจากเชื้อ HPV

Abstract

Human papillomavirus (HPV) เป็นเชื้อที่พบมากที่สุดในการติดเชื้อโรคติดต่อทางเพศสัมพันธ์ เป็นสาเหตุสําคัญที่ทําให้เกิดโรคมะเร็งหลายอวัยวะทั้งในเพศหญิงและเพศชาย โรคมะเร็งที่มีสาเหตุจาก การติดเชื้อ HPV ในเพศหญิง ได้แก่ มะเร็งปากมดลูก มะเร็งปากช่องคลอด มะเร็งในช่องคลอด มะเร็ง ช่องปากและลําคอ และมะเร็งทวารหนักส่วนในเพศชาย ได้แก่ มะเร็งองคชาติ มะเร็งช่องปากและลําคอ และมะเร็งทวารหนัก ดังนั้นการป้องกันปฐมภูมิของการติดเชื้อ HPV จึงมีความสําคัญมาก โดยการหลีกเลี่ยงการได้รับเชื้อ HPV การลดและการขจัดสาเหตุ หรือปัจจัยเสี่ยงที่เกี่ยวข้องกับการเกิดโรคมะเร็งหรือ การทําให้ร่างกายสามารถต่อต้านสารก่อมะเร็งได้ รวมทั้งการฉีดวัคซีนป้องกันเชื้อ HPV ซึ่งเป็นการป้องกันขั้นปฐมภูมิของการติดเชื้อ HPV ที่มีประสิทธิภาพ เนื่องจากสามารถสร้างภูมิคุ้มกันได้ดีกว่าการติดเชื้อ HPV ตามธรรมชาติ และใช้ได้ทั้งเพศชายและเพศหญิง บทบาทของพยาบาลมีความสําคัญอย่างมากในการ ส่งเสริมสุขภาพและป้องกันโรคดังกล่าวจากการติดเชื้อ HPV ให้มีประสิทธิภาพ ทั้งบทบาทการเป็น ผู้ประเมินภาวะสุขภาพ บทบาทด้านการให้ความรู้ บทบาทด้านการให้คําปรึกษา และบทบาทในการสร้างงานวิชาการและสร้างองค์ความรู้อย่างเป็นระบบ รวมทั้งต้องมีความรู้ความเข้าใจอย่างถูกต้องและลึกซึ้งเกี่ยวกับเชื้อ HPV และวัคซีนป้องกันเชื้อ HPV เพื่อให้สามารถส่งเสริมสุขภาพและป้องกันโรคให้กับประชาชนได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพสูงสุด

Human papillomavirus (HPV) is the most common infection in sexually transmitted infections. It is a major cause of many cancers in both female and male organs. The cancers caused by HPV infection in women include cervical cancer , vaginal cancer, cancer of the mouth and throat and anal cancer. In males they include cancer of the penis, cancer of the mouth and throat and anal cancer. Therefore, primary prevention of HPV infection is very important. By avoiding getting HPV, reducing and eliminating the causes or risk factors associated with cancer or enabling the body to resist carcinogens including vaccination against HPV is the primary prevention of effective HPV infection. because it can make a better immunity better than natural HPV infection and is available to both males and females. Nurses have a very important role to play in health promotion and prevention of desease from HPV infection, because of their roles as health assessors, educators, counselors and creators of academic work and systematic knowledge including deep and accurate knowledge about HPV and HPV vaccine to be able to deliver health promotion and disease prevention to the people most effectively.
