Abstract

การวิจัยเรื่องการศึกษาความคิดเห็นของผู้บังคับบัญชาบัณฑิตคณะสังคมสงเคราะห์ศาสตร์และสวัสดิการสังคม มหาวิทยาลัยหัวเฉียวเฉลิมพระเกียรติ รุ่นปีการศึกษา 2533-2537 มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อทราบประเภทของหน่วยงาน และจำนวนบัณฑิตที่เข้าปฏิบัติงานในหน่วยงาน ทราบความคิดเห็นของผู้บังคับบัญชาต่อคุณสมบัติของบัณฑิต และทราบถึงทิศทางหลักสูตรสังคมสงเคราะห์ศาสตรบัณฑิตที่พึงประสงค์ในอนาคต โดยศึกษาเฉพาะผู้บังบัญชาระดับที่ปฏิบัติงานใกล้ชิดกับบัณฑิตมากที่สุด จำนวนทั้งสิ้น 83 ราย ดังมีรายละเอียดดังต่อไปนี้ คุณลักษณะทั่วไปของผู้บังคับบัญชาบัณฑิต พบว่า ส่วนใหญ่เป็นชาย อยู่ในช่วงอายุมากกว่า 56 ปีขึ้นไป การศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรี ปฏิบัติงานอยู่ในหน่วยงานภาครัฐบาบที่รับผิดชอบเกี่ยวกับงานสวัสดิการสังคมและสังคมสงเคราะห์ บัณฑิตส่วนใหญ่ปฏิบัติงานอยู่ในช่วงระยะเวลา 3-4 ปี ในตำแหน่งนักสังคมสงเคราะห์ เหตุผลที่รับบัณฑิต มีวุฒิตามที่ต้องการ ความคิดเห็นของผู้บังคับบัญชาต่อคุณสมบัติของบัณฑิตคณะสังคมสงเคราะห์ศาสตร์และสวัสดิการสังคม ส่วนใหญ่เห็นว่า คุณสมบัติของบัณฑิตทั้งด้านความรู้ ทักษะ และทัศนคติที่มีต่อการปฏิบัติงานอยู่ในเกณฑ์เหมาะสมมาก อาทิ เช่น ความรับผิดชอบ ความสามารถในการประสานงาน ความตั้งใจและสนใจในการปฏิบัติงานยึดถือกฎระเบียบและนโยบายของหน่วยงาน และมีมนุษยสัมพันธ์ดี ความคิดเห็นของผู้บังคับบัญชาบัณฑิตต่อทิศทางของหลักสูตรสังคมสงเคราะห์ศาสตรบัณฑิต ควรมีการพัฒนาและปรับปรุงในด้านความรู้ความเข้าใจ และการตระหนักต่อจรรยาบรรณของนักสังคมสงเคราะห์ การวิเคราะห์วิกฤตการณ์สถานการณ์ การเปลี่ยนแปลงด้านเศรษฐกิจ สังคม และการเมือง ซึ่งจะมีผลให้การศึกษาของคณะสังคมสงเคราะห์ศาสตร์และสวัสดิการสังคม มีทิศทางไปสู่การแก้ไขปัญหาสังคมในภาพรวม

The study is a survey of the Supervisor’s Opinions towards the Qualification of the undergraduates from the Faculty of Social Work and Social Welfare, Huachiew Chalermprakiet University in the academic years 1990-1994. A self-administered questionnaire was distributed to 83 supervisors who work closely with social works undergraduates. Findings from the study indicated the following : Data on the background characteristics of the supervisors, and the status of the undergraduates in a work place show that most of the supervisors were male, over age 56, and a bachelor degree completion. Most of the supervisors were government officials. More than half of the undergraduates have worked as social worker for an average of 3 to 4 years. The main reason this help graduates to get a job is their desired degree. In the opinions of the employees, the graduates’ qualifications in terms of knowledge, skills and working attitudes were considered to be very appropriate. The undergraduates were perceived to be responsible, attentive, enthusiastic, responsive to organizational standards, and readily able to coordinate variety of interpersonal relation. The supervisor’s attitudes towards social work curriculum were also examined. The supervisor proposed that social work curriculum should be developed to provide students with an awareness of social work ethics, and ability to analyze crisis situation stemming from economic social, and political changes. Moreover, they recommended that the social work and social welfare study program should be more holistic and better integrated to reach the level of macro social work.
