การพัฒนาคู่มือการจ่ายยาเด็กสำหรับผู้ปฏิบัติงาน ณ โรงพยาบาลส่งเสริมสุขภาพตำบลศีรษะจรเข้น้อย

Abstract

งานวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อพัฒนาคู่มือในการจ่ายยาเด็กและเพื่อให้ผู้ปกครองของผู้ป่วยเด็กมีความรู้ความเข้าใจที่ถูกต้องเกี่ยวกับการใช้ยาในเด็ก โดยคู่มือการจ่ายยาในเด็กที่ได้พัฒนาขึ้นประกอบด้วย “ตารางแสดงปริมาตรยาที่ให้ใน 1 ครั้งจำแนกตามน้ำหนักตัวสำหรับรายการยาเด็กแต่ละชนิดที่ใช้ในโรงพยาบาลส่งเสริมสุขภาพตำบล พร้อมข้อมูลที่สำคัญทางยา” และ “คู่มือคำแนะนำการใช้ยาในเด็ก” ในรูปแบบคล้ายปฏิทินตั้งโต๊ะซึ่งมีรูปภาพและคำอธิบายนำไปให้เจ้าหน้าที่ผู้ปฏิบัติงาน ณ โรงพยาบาลศีรษะจรเข้น้อยได้ทดลองใช้ ผลการประเมินความพึงพอใจของผู้ปฏิบัติงานต่อคู่มือการจ่ายยาเด็กทั้งสองส่วนในด้านคุณภาพ การนำไปใช้ประโยชน์และประเด็นเนื้อหาความรู้อยู่ในระดับมากถึงมากที่สุด ในการนำคู่มือคำแนะนำการใช้ยาในเด็กไปใช้ ประกอบการแนะนำแก่ผู้ปกครองได้มีการสำรวจความรู้ความเข้าใจของผู้ปกครองจำนวน 66 คน ก่อนและหลังได้รับคำแนะนำโดยใช้คู่มือฯ พบว่าผู้ปกครองมีความรู้ความเข้าใจเพิ่มขึ้นอย่างมีนัยสำคัญในทุกประเด็นความรู้ภายหลังได้รับคำแนะนำโดยใช้คู่มือฯ โดยมีร้อยละของคะแนนเพิ่มสัมพัทธ์โดยค่าเฉลี่ยเท่ากับ 86.38 ซึ่งไม่ขึ้นกับปัจจัยต่าง ๆ อันได้แก่ เพศ อายุ ระดับการศึกษาและอาชีพ ผลการประเมินความพึงพอใจของผู้ปกครองต่อคู่มือคำแนะนำการใช้ยาในเด็กทั้งในด้านคุณภาพและรายละเอียดเนื้อหาความรู้ที่ปรากฏในคู่มือพบว่าผู้ปกกครองร้อยละ 97.84 มีความพึงพอใจอยู่ในระดับมากถึงมากที่สุด

The purposes of this research were to develop pediatric medication dispensing manuals and to counsel caregiver about correct pediatric drug use. These pediatric medication dispensing manuals included 1. Dosing chart with other important information of various medicines in pediatric drug list of Sisa Chorakhe Noi Tambon Health Promoting Hospital and 2. Manual for pediatric drug administration composed of picture and wording instruction in the form of flip chart like desk calendar. This flip chart was used for counseling pediatric caregiver. Survey of practitioner satisfaction with both dosing chart and manual for pediatric drug administration in terms of quality, benefit and details of knowledge provided was done. The practitioner’s response revealed satisfied level or good satisfied level of all the items assessed. Assessment of caregiver’s knowledge about pediatric drug use before and after using the flip chart in the counseling process by pretest and posttest revealed percentage of mean relative gain score of 86.38. Pediatric caregivers had significantly better knowledge about pediatric drug use in all items assessed and the mean relative gain scores were not related with sex, age, educational level and career of the caregivers. 97.84% of Caregiver rated satisfaction with this flip chart manual as a whole in level 4-5 (satisfied level-good satisfied level) of 5-point Likert scale.
