การประเมินหลักสูตรนิเทศศาสตรบัณฑิต ฉบับปรับปรุง พุทธศักราช 2559 คณะนิเทศศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยหัวเฉียวเฉลิมพระเกียรติ

Abstract

การประเมินหลักสูตรนิเทศศาสตรบัณฑิต ฉบับปรับปรุง พุทธศักราช 2559 มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อวิเคราะห์และประเมินคุณภาพการจัดการศึกษาหลักสูตรด้านบริบท ปัจจัยนำเข้า กระบวนการการบริหารหลักสูตรและการจัดการเรียนการสอน และผลลัพธ์ของหลักสูตร ผู้ให้ข้อมูลสำหรับการประเมินครั้งนี้ ประกอบด้วย ผู้บริหารหลักสูตรและอาจารย์ประจำหลักสูตร จำนวน 11 คน นักศึกษาปัจจุบันปีการศึกษา 2559-2562 จำนวน 190 คน บัณฑิตผู้สำเร็จการศึกษาจำนวน 123 คน ศิษย์เก่าจำนวน 9 คน ผู้บังคับบัญชาของผู้สำเร็จการศึกษาจำนวน 31 คน และผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้านหลักสูตร/นักวิชาการ และนักวิชาชีพ จำนวน 10 คน การรวบรวมข้อมูลใช้วิธีการสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึก ใช้แบบสอบถามและการวิเคราะห์เอกสาร เช่น เอกสารหลักสูตร รายงานการประชุม เครื่องมือที่ใช้รวบรวมข้อมูล ประกอบด้วยเครื่องมือเก็บข้อมูลเชิงคุณภาพ ได้แก่ 1) แนวคำถามวิเคราะห์หลักสูตรและอาจารย์ผู้สอน 3) แนวคำถามสนทนากลุ่มนักศึกษาปี 4 และศิษย์เก่า เครื่องมือเก็บข้อมูลเชิงปริมาณ ได้แก่ 1) แบบสอบถามสำหรับนักศึกษาปัจจุบัน 2) แบบสอบถามสำหรับบัณฑิต และ 3) แบบสอบถามผู้บังคับบัญชาของผู้สำเร็จการศึกษา ผลการประเมินด้านบริบท วัตถุประสงค์ของหลักสูตรนิเทศศาสตรบัณฑิต ฉบับปรับปรุง พ.ศ. 2559 ยังคงมีความเหมาะสม โดยเฉพาะการพัฒนานักศึกษาด้านคุณธรรม จริยธรรม และความรับผิดชอบต่อสังคม บัณฑิตมีความรู้รอบด้านนิเทศศาสตร์ทั้งภาพทฤษฎีและภาคปฏิบัติ หลักสูตรฯ มีจุดที่ต้องปรับปรุง คือ รายวิชาที่มีเนื้อซ้ำซ้อน วิชาด้านคอมพิวเตอร์ยังคงสำคัญแต่ต้องปรับวิชาให้ทันสมัยตอบโจทย์กับงานใหม่ๆ ที่เกิดขึ้นและเพิ่มเนื้อหาวิชาให้มีความน่าสนใจขึ้น จำนวนหน่วยกิตของรายวิชากลุ่มวิชาชีพเลือกอาจไม่เพียงพอที่จะพัฒนาทักษะและประสบการณ์ของนักศึกษาและเพื่อให้นักศึกษาเรียนรู้แบบบูรณาการจึงไม่ควรแยกกลุ่มวิชาชีพ และควรสร้างหลักสูตรที่มีจุดเด่นและตรงตามจุดเน้นของมหาวิทยาลัย คือ ด้านจีนและด้านวิทยาศาสตร์สุขภาพ ผลการประเมินด้านปัจจัยป้อนเข้า ด้านคุณลักษณะของอาจารย์ บัณฑิตที่สำเร็จการศึกษาในปีการศึกษา 2561 ประเมินคุณลักษณะของอาจารย์ผู้สอนระดับมาก (4.30) นักศึกษาชั้นปีที่ 1-4 ประเมินคุณลักษณะอาจารย์ผู้สอนระดับมาก (4.04) บัณฑิตพึงพอใจด้านปัจจัยสนับสนุนการเรียนรู้ ระดับมาก (3.69) ระบบคอมพิวเตอร์และเครือข่ายอินเทอร์เน็ตส่วนกลาง ระดับปานกลาง (3.49) การบริการของห้องสมุดและสื่อการศึกษาระดับมาก (3.75) ห้องปฏิบัติการและอุปกรณ์ที่ให้บริการนักศึกษาคณะนิเทศศาสตร์ระดับมาก (3.69) สภาพแวดล้อมที่เอื้อต่อการเรียนรู้ในภาพรวมระดับมาก (3.76) นักศึกษาชั้นปีที่ 1-4 พึงพอใจด้านปัจจัยสนับสนุนการเรียนรู้ ในระดับมาก ค่าเฉลี่ยรวมเท่ากับ 3.55 ระบบคอมพิวเตอร์และเครือข่ายอินเทอร์เน็ตส่วนกลาง ระดับปานกลาง (3.31) การบริการของห้องสมุดและสื่อการศึกษาระดับมาก (3.54) ห้องปฏิบัติการและอุปกรณ์ที่ให้บริการนักศึกษาคณะนิเทศศาสตร์ ระดับมาก (3.78) สภาพแวดล้อมที่เอื้อต่อการเรียนรู้ในภาพรวมระดับมาก (3.62) การประเมินด้านกระบวนการผลิต นักศึกษาชั้นปีที่ 1-4 ประเมินด้านหลักสูตรระดับมาก (3.81) พึงพอใจด้านการให้คำปรึกษาของอาจารย์ระดับมาก (3.99) บัณฑิตปีการศึกษา 2561 ประเมินด้านการบริหารหลักสูตร ภาพรวมพึงพอใจระดับมาก (3.79) พึงพอใจด้านการให้คำปรึกษาของอาจารย์ระดับมาก (4.28) การประเมินการสอนของอาจารย์ปีการศึกษา 2562 ผู้สอนได้รับการประเมินการสอนระดับดีมาก การประเมินด้านผลลัพธ์ของหลักสูตร ผู้ใช้บัณฑิตประเมินคุณภาพของบัณฑิตคณะนิเทศศาสตร์ ปีการศึกษา 2561 ทุกด้านระดับมาก (4.24) ด้านคุณธรรม จริยธรรม ระดับมาก (4.44) ด้านความรู้ ระดับมาก (4.09) ด้านทักษะทางปัญญา ระดับมาก (4.09) ด้านทักษะความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างบุคคลและความรับผิดชอบ ระดับมาก (4.36) ด้านทักษะการวิเคราะห์เชิงตัวเลข การสื่อสารและการใช้เทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศ ระดับมาก (3.87) ด้านทักษะวิชาชีพ ระดับมาก (4.19) ผู้ใช้บัณฑิตพึงพอใจการทำงานของบัณฑิตเรื่องทำงานได้ดี กระตือรือร้น ขยัน อดทน มุ่งมั่นในการทำงาน มีภาวะผู้นำ รับผิดชอบ มีความคิดสร้างสรรค์ พร้อมเรียนรู้และเรียนรู้ได้เร็ว ข้อเสนอแนะจากผู้ใช้บัณฑิตคณะนิเทศศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยหัวเฉียวเฉลิมพระเกียรติ เสนอแนะให้ผู้มีประสบการณ์ในวงการวิชาชีพมาให้ความรู้เพิ่มเติมในการทำงานและควรจัดหาอุปกรณ์ที่ทันสมัยให้นักศึกษาอย่างเพียงพอ

The assessment of the revision of the BA Program, B.E. 2559 has objectives to make analysis and assessment of the learning course management quality in terms of content, input factors, the process of course management, learning management, and the results of the curriculum. The informants for the assessment included the 11 curriculum administrators and the professors, 190 undergraduate students of the academic year 2016-2019, the 123 graduates and 31 supervisors of the graduates, and the 10 curriculum expert, Academic and the professionals. Data collection made by using an in-depth interview using questionnaires and document analysis included curriculum documents, meeting minutes. The instruments used for collecting the Qualitative data comprises 1) course analysis question guidelines for the curriculum experts, academics, and the professionals 2) question guidelines for curriculum administrators and instructors 3) discussion questions for the 4th year students and alumni. The collection tools of quantitative data were 1) questionnaires for undergraduate students 2) questionnaires for the graduated and 3) questionnaires for supervisor of the graduates. COntextual assessments results: the objectives of the curriculum revision for Bachelor of Communication Arts B.E. 2559 are still appropriated, especially the student development in terms of morals, ethics, and socail responsibility. The graduates have extensive knowledge in communication science both in theory and in practice. The curriculum that required the improvements were the courses with duplicate content. Computer course is still important but requires the updating to meet new tasks occurred and add more interesting subjects. The number of occupational courses may not be sufficient to develop a student's skills and experience. Moreover, the students required integrated learning therefore there should not be separated the groups of occupational courses. And should create a curriculum that has strengths and meets the objective of the university such as Chinese and health sciences courses. Input factor assessment results: The qualifications of the instructors, the graduates who graduated in the academic year 2018, have assessed the qualifications of instructors at a high-level (4.30), students of year one to four have assessed the qualifications of the instructors at a high level (4.04). The graduates were satisfied in some factors at high level included learning support at a high level (3.69), computer systems and internet networks at medium level (3.49), services of libraries and educational materials at a high-level (3.75), laboratories and equipment provided to students of the Faculty of Communication Arts at a high-level (3.69), the environment that motivates the overall learning at a high level (3.76). The students of year one to four were satisfied with the learning support factors at a high level with a total mean of 3.55, computer systems and internet networks at medium-level (3.31), services of libraries, and centralized educational media at a high level (3.54), laboratories and equipmeny provided to students of the Faculty of Communication Arts at a high-level (3.78), the environment that motivates the overall learning at a high level (3.62). Production process assessment: The students of year one of four were satisfied with curriculum assessment at a high level (3.81), instructors' counseling at a high level (3.99). The graduates of the academic year 2018 were satisfied with the overall curriculum management at a high level (3.79) were satisfied with the instructors' counseling at a high level (4.28). In the teaching assessment of teachers for the academic year 2019. instructors received very good results of teaching assessment. Course outcome assessment: the supervisor of the graduated has made the quality assessment of the graduated from the Faculty of Communication Arts, Academic Year 2018 in all aspects at a high level (4.24), high level of morality (4.44), high level of knowledge (4.09), high level of intellectual skills (4.09), high level of interpersonal skills and responsibility (4.36) high level of numerical analysis skills, communication and use of information technology at a high level (3.87), high level of professional skills (4.19). The supervisor of the graduates is satisfied with the graduates' works. They can work well with enthusiasm, deligence, determination, leadership, responsibility, creativity, ready to learn, and learn fast. The suggestions from the supervisors of the graduated from the Faculty of Communication Arts, Huachiew Chalermprakiet Univeristy suggested that experienced prodessionals in the professional field to provide additional knowledge in the work and should provide students with sufficient modern equipment.
