การประเมินหลักสูตรนิเทศศาสตรบัณฑิตฉบับปรับปรุงพุทธศักราช 2554 คณะนิเทศศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยหัวเฉียวเฉลิมพระเกียรติ

Abstract

การประเมินหลักสูตรนิเทศศาสตรบัณฑิต ฉบับปรับปรุง พุทธศักราช 2554 มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อวิเคราะห์และประเมินคุณภาพการจัดการศึกษาหลักสูตรด้านบริบท ปัจจัยนำเข้า กระบวนการการบริหารหลักสูตรและการจัดการเรียนการสอน และผลลัพธ์ของหลักสูตร ผู้ให้ข้อมูล คือ ผู้บริหารจำนวน 2 คน อาจารย์ผู้สอนจำนวน 10 คน นักศึกษาปัจจุบันรหัส 55-57 จำนวน 279 คน ผู้สำเร็จการศึกษาจำนวน 70 คน ผู้บังคับบัญชาของบัณฑิตจำนวน 30 คนและผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้านหลักสูตรจำนวน 3 คน การรวบรวมข้อมูลใช้วิธีการสนทนากลุ่ม สัมภาษณ์เชิงลึกและการวิเคราะห์เอกสาร เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการรวบรวมข้อมูล ประกอบด้วย แนวคำถามการวิเคราะห์หลักสูตรสำหรับผู้เชี่ยวชาญ แนวคำถามสนทนากลุ่มผู้บริหารและอาจารย์ผู้สอน แบบสอบถามนักศึกษาปัจจุบัน ผู้สำเร็จการศึกษาและผู้บังคับบัญชาของผู้สำเร็จการศึกษาผลการประเมินด้านบริบท : เนื้อหาของหลักสูตรสอดคล้องกับปณิธานของคณะนิเทศศาสตร์ โครงสร้างเนื้อหาและรายวิชาในหลักสูตรมีความสัมพันธ์กันแต่การรวมกลุ่มวิชาจะเป็นการตอบสนองลักษณะการทำงานในยุคปัจจุบันได้มากกว่า จำนวนรายวิชาที่มีในหลักสูตรมีจำนวนมากและเนื้อหารายวิชาของกลุ่มวิชาชีพพื้นฐานซ้ำซ้อนกันน จำนวนหน่วยกิตของรายวิชากลุ่มวิชาชีพเลือกอาจไม่เพียงพอที่จะพัฒนาทักษะและประสบการณ์ของนักศึกษา การจัดแผนการศึกษาไม่สอดคล้องกับความสนใจของนักศึกษาอาจพิจารณานำรายวิชาที่เป็นวิชาปฏิบัติให้นักศึกษาได้เรียนตั้งแต่ชั้นปีที่ 1 ควรเพิ่มวิชาที่พัฒนานักศึกษาด้านการนำเสนอและควรเพิ่มวิชาเตรียมสหกิจศึกษาจำนวน 1 หน่วยกิต เพื่อพัฒนานักศึกษาก่อนฝึกปฏิบัติงานผลการประเมินด้านปัจจัยป้อนเข้า : อาจารย์ที่มีคุณวุฒิปริญญาเอกและตำแหน่งทางวิชาการยังอยู่ในระดับน้อย ด้านคุณลักษณะของอาจารย์ บัณฑิตที่สำเร็จการศึกษาปีการศึกษา 2557 ประเมินด้านความรู้ความสามารถของอาจารย์ระดับมาก นักศึกษาปัจจุบันประเมินคุณลักษณะด้านความรู้ ความสามารถของอาจารย์ ด้านการการสอนและคุณลักษณะด้านความเป็นครู ระดับมากด้านสิ่งสนับสนุนการเรียนรู้ นักศึกษาชั้นปีที่ 2-4 พึงพอใจด้านความสะดวกในการใช้ระบบเครือข่ายอินเทอร์เน็ต ด้านการให้บริการของห้องสมุดและสื่อการศึกษา ด้านอาคารสถานที่ สิ่งแวดล้อมและห้องเรียน ระดับปานกลาง พึงพอใจด้านการให้บริการของคณะนิเทศศาสตร์ระดับมาก บัณฑิตพึงพอใจด้านความสะดวกในการใช้ระบบเครือข่ายอินเทอร์เน็ต ระดับปานกลาง พึงพอใจด้านการให้บริการของห้องสมุดและสื่อการศึกษา และด้านอาคาร สถานที่ สิ่งแวดล้อมและห้องเรียนระดับมากการประเมินด้านกระบวนการผลิต : นักศึกษาชั้นปีที่ 2-4 พึงพอใจด้านความสะดวกในการใช้ระบบเครือข่ายอินเทอร์เน็ต ด้านการให้บริการของห้องสมุดและสื่อการศึกษา ด้านอาคารสถานที่ สิ่งแวดล้อมและห้องเรียน ระดับปานกลาง พึงพอใจด้านการให้บริการของคณะนิเทศศาสตร์ระดับมาก บัณฑิตพึงพอใจด้านความสะดวกในการใช้ระบบเครือข่ายอินเทอร์เน็ต ระดับปานกลาง พึงพอใจด้านการให้บริการของห้องสมุดและสื่อการศึกษา และด้านอาคาร สถานที่ สิ่งแวดล้อมและห้องเรียนระดับมากการประเมินด้านกระบวนการผลิต : นักศึกษาชั้นปีที่ 2-4 ได้ประเมินด้านการบริหารหลักสูตรมีภาพรวมความพึงพอใจระดับมาก พึงพอใจการให้คำปรึกษาของอาจารย์ระดับมมาก บัณฑิตปีการศึกษา 2557 ประเมินด้านการบริหารหลักสูตรมีภาพรวมความพึงพอใจระดับปานกลาง พึงพอใจด้านการให้คำปรึกษาของอาจารย์ระดับมาก การประเมินการสอนของอาจารย์ภาคการศึกษาที่ 1/2557 และ 2/2557 พบว่าอาจารย์ผู้สอนได้รับการประเมินการสอนระดับดีการประเมินด้านผลลัพธ์ของหลักสูตร : บัณฑิตปีการศึกษา 2557 ประเมินความสามารถของตนเองทุกด้านระดับมาก ประเมินด้านคุณธรรมจริยธรรมระดับมาก คือ 3.92 ด้านความรู้ประเมินตนเองระดับมาก คือ 3.90 ด้านทักษะทางปัญญาประเมินตนเองระดับมาก คือ 3.94 ด้านทักษะความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างบุคคลและความรับผิดชอบประเมินตนเองระดับมาก คือ 3.98 และด้านทักษะการวิเคราะห์เชิงตัวเลข การสื่อสาร และการใช้เทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศประเมินตนเองระดับมาก คือ 3.92 ด้านทักษะวิชาชีพประเมินตนเองระดับมาก คือ 3.98ผู้ใช้บัณฑิตประเมินคุณภาพของบัณฑิตปีการศึกษา 2557 ทุกด้านระดับมาก ประเมินคุณภาพ ด้านคุณธรรมจริยธรรมระดับมาก คือ 4.22 ประเมินด้านความรู้ระดับมาก คือ 4.08 ประเมินด้านทักษะทางปัญญาระดับมาก คือ 4.22 ประเมินด้านทักษะความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างบุคคลและความรับผิดชอบประเมินระดับมาก คือ 4.30 ประเมินด้านทักษะการวิเคราะห์เชิงตัวเลข การสื่อสารและการใช้เทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศประเมินระดับมาก คือ 3.95 และประเมินด้านทักษะวิชาชีพระดับมาก คือ 4.17ผู้ใช้บัณฑิตพึงพอใจการทำงานของบัณฑิตเรื่องความกระตือรือร้น ทำงานได้ดี บัณฑิตมุ่งมั่นในการทำงาน บัณฑิตมีภาวะผู้นำ รับผิดชอบ ข้อเสนอแนะจากผู้ใช้บัณฑิตคณะนิเทศศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยหัวเฉียวเฉลิมพระเกียรติ เสนอแนะให้ผู้มีประสบการณ์ในวงการวิชาชีพให้ความรู้เพิ่มเติมในการทำงานและควรจัดหาอุปกรณ์ที่ทันสมัยให้นักศึกษาอย่างเพียงพอ

The assessment of Communication Arts Bachelor Degree Curriculum, Revised edition B.E. 2554 has the objectives to analyze and evaluate the quality of curriculum management in different aspects such as context, inputs, curriculum management process, learning managament and the curriculum results. Informants consisted of two university executives, ten faculty, 279 current 2555-2557 students, 70 graduated students, 30 supervisors of working alumni and three curriculum experts. Data gathering methods used are group conversations, indepth interviews and document analysis. Instruments used in collecting data consisted of questions concerning curriculum analysis for experts, questions concerning group conversations for university executives and faculty and questionnaires for current students, graduated students and supevisors of working alumni.Results of Context Assessment:The curriculum contexts conform to the mission of the Faculty of Communication Arts. The content structure and the courses in the curriculum relate to each other well but the grouping of the courses rather respond better to the present working environment than that of the old curriculum. The number of the courses in the curricular are too many and the contents of core professional course groups are still overlapping. The number of credit units of selective professional course groups may not be adequate for developing students' skills and experiences. The Educational planning does not conform to the students interests either. This may be corrected by rescheduling practical courses to be studied by firsty year students and adding a presentation curses and a one credit courses to prepare the students before they take co-operative study training course.Results of Input Factors Assessment:The lectures in the faculty with Ph.D. degrees and academic ranks are few. For the lectures qualities, the students who graduated in 2557 academic year assessed the proficiency of the faculty lectures with high level. The current students also evaluate the proficiency of the faculty lecturers and their teaching qualities with high level. For learning aids, current students in the second to the fourth year are moderately satisfied with the internet network, the library services and educational media, the buildings, the environment and the classroom and highly satisfied with the service of the Faculty of Communication Arts while the graduated students are moderatelt satisfied with the internet system and highly satisfied with the library services and educational media and the buildings, the environment and the classrooms.Assessment of Production Process:The students in the second to the fourth year assessed the overall curricculum management with high satisfaction. They are also highly satisfied with the counseling of the faculty lecturers. The 2557 graduated students assessed the overall curriculum manament with moderate satisfaction but they were highly satisfied with counseling of the faculty lecturers. The teaching of the faculty lecturers in 1/2557 and 2/2557 semesters were assessed with high satisfaction.Assessment of Curriculum Results:The 2557 graduated alumni assessed their own abilities in every aspect as highly satisfactory as the followings: moral and ethical aspects at 3.92, knowledgeable skill aspect at 3.90, intellectual skill aspect at 3.94, interpersonal skill and responsible aspect at 3.98, analytical, communicational and information technological ability aspect at 3.92 and professional skill aspect at 3.98. The Supervisors of 2557 graduated alumni assessed the alumni as highly satisfactory in every aspect as the followings: the moral and ethical aspect at 4.22, knowledgeable skill aspect at 4.08, intellectual aspect at 4.22, interpersonal skill and responsible aspect at 4.30, analytical, communicational and information technological ability at 3.95 and professional skill aspect at 4.17. The supervisors of those alumni are really satisfied with the alumni;s enthusiasm and determination to do their best in work, their leadership and responsibility. Those supervisors suggest that the Faculty of Communication Arts should invite experienced professionals to advise those graduating students how to work in professional environment and provide more up-to-date educational equipment for students.
