ทัศนคติต่อการประทับตราและการสนับสนุนทางสังคมที่มีผลต่อสัมพันธภาพในการใช้ชีวิตคู่ของรักร่วมเพศหญิงในกรุงเทพมหานคร

Abstract

การศึกษาวิจัยนี้ เป็นการศึกษาทัศนคติต่อการประทับตรา และการสนับสนุนทางสังคมที่มีผลต่อสัมพันธภาพในการใช้ชีวิตคู่ของรักร่วมเพศหญิงในกรุงเทพมหานคร มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) ศึกษาลักษณะสัมพันธภาพของคู่รักร่วมเพศหญิง 2) ศึกษาทัศนคติต่อการประทับตราของคู่รักร่วมเพศหญิง 3) ศึกษาการสนับสนุนทางสังคมของคู่รักร่วมเพศหญิง 4) ปัจจัยที่มีอิทธิพลต่อสัมพันธภาพของคู่รักร่วมเพศหญิงกลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ศึกษา คือ รักร่วมเพศหญิงจาก 16 เวปไซต์ ผู้ศึกษาได้เลือกเวปไซต์ ตัวอย่างที่มีผู้เข้าชมมากที่สุด 3 เวปไซต์ ซึ่งจากการสำรวจพบว่าในแต่ละเวปไซต์ มีจำนวนผู้เข้าชมเฉลี่ยประมาณ 800 คน แต่การเลือกจากเว็ปไซต์ ได้กลุ่มตัวอย่างไม่เพียงพอ จึงใช้วิธีอื่นร่วมด้วย คือ การทาบทามจากผู้ที่รู้จักที่ไม่ได้อยู่ในเว็ปไซต์เพิ่มเติม จนครบตามจำนวนที่กำหนดเกณฑ์การเลือกบุคคลตัวอย่าง ได้ทำการกำหนดคุณสมบัติไว้ว่า ต้องเป็นผู้หญิงที่มีคู่รักในปัจจุบันเป็นรักร่วมเพศหญิง โดยต้องอยู่ในครัวเรือนเดียวกันอย่างน้อย 3 วันต่อสัปดาห์ และอยู่ด้วยกันมาอย่างน้อย 6 เดือน และอาศัยอยู่ในเขตกรุงเทพมหานคร ขณะทำการศึกษาวิจัย มีอายุระหว่าง 20-60 ปี จำนวน 15 คน โดยคละอายุแบ่งออกเป็น 3 กลุ่ม เท่า ๆ กัน กลุ่มละ 5 คน คืออายุ 20-29 ปี อายุ 30-39 ปี และอายุ 40 ปีขึ้นไปการวิจัยครั้งนี้ เป็นการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ เก็บข้อมูลโดยการใช้การสัมภาษณ์ระดับลึก (In-depth Interview) เป็นเครื่องมือในการวิจัยผลการศึกษาจากการวิเคราะห์เนื้อหา (Content analysis) ด้านข้อมูลทั่วไป พบว่ากลุ่มตัวอย่างรักร่วมเพศหญิง จำนวน 15 คู่ มีอายุน้อยสุด 23 ปี และอายุสูงสุด 49 ปี มีอายุห่างระหว่างคู่เฉลี่ย 2-3 ปี มีอายุห่างกันมากที่สุด 10 ปี และที่ไม่ห่างกันคือ มีอายุเท่ากัน กลุ่มตัวอย่างส่วนใหญ่มีประสบการณ์ใช้ชีวิตคู่แบบรักร่วมเพศหญิงเท่านั้น มีเพียงคนเดียวที่เคยผ่านการสมรส และมีบุตรมาก่อน กลุ่มตัวอย่างมีระดับการศึกษาที่ใกล้เคียงกันโดยส่วนใหญ่มีระดับการศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรี คู่ที่มีระดับการศึกษาสูงสุด คือ ระดับปริญญาโท และคู่ที่มีระดับการศึกษาน้อยสุดคือระดับมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลายและมีฐานะทางเศรษฐกิจดีมาก โดยพิจารณาจากอาชีพที่มีความมั่นคง และมีรายได้ประจำ คู่รักที่มีรายได้ต่อเดือนสูงสุดคือ 200,000 บาท และคู่รักที่มีรายได้น้อยสุด คือ 10,000 บาท รายได้เฉลี่ยประมาณ 50,000 บาท ผลการวิเคราะห์ทัศนคติต่อการประทับตรา พบว่า คู่รักร่วมเพศหญิง ไม่ได้รับการประทับตราจากสังคมมากนัก กลุ่มที่ได้รับการประทับตรารุนแรง จะไม่สนใจสังคม ถ้าการประทับตราไม่รุนแรงก็สามารถยอมรับได้ ในภาพรวมสังคมทุกกลุ่มยอมรับคู่รักร่วมเพศหญิงได้มากขึ้นและไม่มีการประทับตราที่รุนแรง ทัศนคติต่อการประทับตราทางสังคม มีความสัมพันธ์เชิงบวกต่อสัมพันธภาพในการใช้ชีวิตคู่ของรักร่วมเพศหญิง กล่าวคือ เมื่อคู่รักร่วมเพศหญิงมีความเข้าใจต่อปฏิกิริยาของสังคมก็ยังสามารถครองรักครองคู่กันได้ด้วยสัมพันธ์อันดีผลการวิเคราะห์ การสนับสนุนทางสังคม พบว่า คู่รักร่วมเพศหญิงได้รับการสนับสนุนทางสังคมที่ดี มีความสัมพันธ์เชิงบวกต่อสัมพันธภาพในการใช้ชีวิตคู่ของรักร่วมเพศ ผลการวิเคราะห์ความรู้สึกมีคุณค่าในตนเอง พบว่า คู่รักร่วมเพศหญิง มีความรู้สึกมีคุณค่าในตนเองสูงมีความสัมพันธ์เชิงบวกต่อสัมพันธภาพในการใช้ชีวิตคู่จากการศึกษาลักษณะสัมพันธภาพของคู่รักร่วมเพศ พบว่า คู่รักร่วมเพศหญิงมีลักษณะสัมพันธภาพที่ดี มีความเห็นพ้อง มีความพึงพอใจ มีความกลมเกลียวกัน และมีการแสดงความรักต่อกัน และพบว่า ปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อสัมพันธภาพในการใช้ชีวิตคู่ของรักร่วมเพศหญิง คือ 1) ทัศนคติต่อการประทับตรา 2) การสนับสนุนทางสังคม 3) การรู้สึกมีคุณค่าในตนเอง จากการศึกษาวิจัย พบประเด็นที่น่าพิจารณาว่าลักษณะสัมพันธภาพของคู่รักร่วมเพศหญิงที่ มีลักษณะดีมาก อันเนื่องมาจากกลุ่มตัวอย่างโดยส่วนใหญ่มีการศึกษาดี มีฐานะทางเศรษฐกิจและสังคมดี ครอบครัวยอมรับผู้บังคับบัญชาให้การสนับสนุนในความสามารถและหน้าที่การงานและสิ่งสุดท้าย พบประเด็นที่น่าในใจเป็นอย่างยิ่ง คือ คู่รักร่วมเพศ มีความรู้สึกมีคุณค่าในตนเองสูง มีอิสระทางความคิด และไม่รู้สึกว่าตนเองได้รับการประทับตราจากสังคม กล่าวคือไม่ได้รับการแสดงปฏิกิริยาจากสังคมมากนักทุกคนเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของสังคม หน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้อง เช่น สถาบันการศึกษาควรเน้นการศึกษาให้มีความเข้าใจในเรื่องเพศศึกษาอย่างแท้จริง ภาครัฐและเอกชนควรจะมีการสนับสนุนด้านอาชีพอย่างเท่าเทียมกัน ด้านสื่อมวลชน ควรนำเสนอภาพลักษณ์และสร้างความเข้าใจ หรือ ข้อเท็จจริงดังเช่นสังคมทั่ว ๆ ไป ให้การยอมรับและให้อิสรเสรีภาพในการดำเนินชีวิตของทุกคน

This research aimed to study the attitudes towards of stigmatization and social support related to relationships of Lesbian Couples in Bangkok. The purposes were: 1.To study characteristics of Lesbian relationships.2.To study the attitude towards stigmatizes of Lesbian relationships3.To study the social support 4.To study factors related to relationships of lesbian couplesThree most popular websites were selected from different sixteen Lesbian websites as the samples. These websites comprised approximately 800 members. However volunteer samples were not enough therefore out of websites volunteer samples were selected more to complete the samples of size 15 lesbiansThe criterions of selected representative groups were that they must be a couple who apparently stay together at least 3 days per week and have been living together for at least 6 months in Bangkok. Their age range were between 20 to 60. Fifteen of them were equally divided into 3 age groups, 5 lesbians in each group of 20-29, 30-39 and 40 upIn-depth interview was used as the tool for data collection in this qualitative research. The result from content analysis generally sho9wed that the youngest sample was 23 and the oldest was 49. The age difference between a couple approximately 2-3 years and the most age difference was 10 years.Most of them experienced family life only with lesbian relationships except one had sexual relation with man and had children. The average education is bachelor degree and the highest was Master Degree. Though the lowest education was high school level, they had a secure financial status due to their secure occup0ations and regular incomes. The highest incomes earned by one lesbian is around 200,000 Baht, the lowest is 10,000 Baht and that makes the average income of 50,000 Bath per month.As a result of analyzing the attitude on stigmatization, it was found that lesbian couples had positive attitudes on it and this slightly influenced their relationships that meaned lesbian couples who understood the reaction of others rather had good relationships in family life.As for the social support, it was found that the social support positively related to relationship of lesbian couples.Analyzing the self-esteem of individual within a lesbian relationship, results show that each individual has strong feelings regarding their own value within society as well as the value of the relationship within society. Since society has been more accepting and positive attitude towards lesbian relationships.As for the characteristics of lesbian relationship it was found that they have good relationship, agreement. Satisfaction, unity and affection for each other. Factors effecting good relationship, were 1) attitude towards stigmatization 2) social support 3) self-esteemFindings indicated that relationship characteristics of lesbians was good due to high socio-economic status and high education of the samples. Their family accepted their relationship.Their supervisor supported them in their work duty and capability. Lastly the relevant finding was the high self-esteem of the lesbian. They had free thinking and did not feel the stigmatization from society. In other word, they did not feel much reaction from society.Everyone is part of society, So related offices such as educational institution should emphasize on providing knowledge in sex education. Government and private sectors should support occupation equally. Mass media should present image with good understanding and present the fact to society in order to create acceptance and freedom of the individual way of living.
