ผลของโปรแกรมส่งเสริมสมรรถนะแห่งตนของเด็กวัยเรียนต่อความรู้และทักษะในการปฐมพยาบาลและการช่วยชีวิตเบื้องต้น

Abstract

การวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นการวิจัยกึ่งทดลอง (Quasi–experimental research) แบบกลุ่มเดียววัดซ้ำ (One group pretest-posttest design) เพื่อศึกษาผลของโปรแกรมส่งเสริมสมรรถนะแห่งตนของเด็กวัยเรียนต่อความรู้และทักษะในการปฐมพยาบาลและการช่วยชีวิตเบื้องต้น กลุ่มตัวอย่างได้แก่ อสม.น้อย ซึ่งได้รับคัดเลือกจากครู เป็นเด็กนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 4-6 โรงเรียนวัดบางโฉลงนอกและโรงเรียนสุเหร่าบางกะสี จังหวัดสมุทรปราการ จำนวน 30 คน รวบรวมข้อมูลระหว่างเดือนกันยายน - ตุลาคม พ.ศ. 2562 เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยประกอบด้วย โปรแกรมส่งเสริมสมรรถนะแห่งตนในการปฐมพยาบาลและการช่วยชีวิตเบื้องต้น แบบประเมินความรู้และแบบประเมินทักษะของเด็กวัยเรียนในการปฐมพยาบาลและการช่วยชีวิตเบื้องต้นที่ผู้วิจัยสร้างขึ้น ผ่านการตรวจสอบความตรงเชิงเนื้อหาโดยผู้เชี่ยวชาญ 3 ท่าน ค่าความเชื่อมั่นของแบบประเมินความรู้ โดยใช้ค่าความเที่ยงด้วยวิธีคูเดอร์ริชาร์ดสัน เท่ากับ .78 และแบบประเมินทักษะโดยใช้ค่าสัมประสิทธิ์แอลฟาครอนบาค เท่ากับ .76 วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้สถิติ Paired t-test ผลการศึกษาพบว่า ภายหลังได้รับโปรแกรมส่งเสริมสมรรถนะแห่งตนในการปฐมพยาบาลและการช่วยชีวิตเบื้องต้น กลุ่มตัวอย่างมีคะแนนความรู้และทักษะในการปฐมพยาบาลและการช่วยชีวิตเบื้องต้นสูงกว่าก่อนได้รับโปรแกรมอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ (t= 12.07, p<.05 และ t= 10.95, p<.05 ตามลำดับ) ผลการศึกษาแสดงให้เห็นว่า โปรแกรมส่งเสริมสมรรถนะแห่งตนในการปฐมพยาบาลและการช่วยชีวิตเบื้องต้น ทำให้เด็กวัยเรียนมีความรู้และทักษะในการปฐมพยาบาลและการช่วยชีวิตเบื้องต้นเพิ่มมากขึ้น

This quasi-experimental study with one-group pretest-posttest design was aimed to examine the effects of the program promoting self-efficacy for school age children on knowledge and skills related to first aid and basic life support. The samples were 30 Youth Village Health Volunteers chosen by the teachers from students in grade four through grade six at Watbangchalongnok school and Suraobangkasee school, Samutprakarn province. The data were collected during September to October 2019. The research instruments consisted of the program promoting self-efficacy in first aid and basic life support, the knowledge and skills related to first aid and basic life support assessment forms, developed by the researchers and were approved for content validity by three experts. The reliability of the knowledge assessment form using Kuder-Richardson Method was .78 and the skill assessment form using Cronbach’s alpha coefficient was .76. Data were analyzed using Paired t-test. The finding demonstrated after enrolled the program promoting self-efficacy for school age children, participants' scores on knowledge and skills related to first aid and basic life support were significantly higher, compared to before enrolling program (t= 12.07, p<.05 and t= 10.95, p<.05 respectively). The results of this study suggest that the program promoting self-efficacy for school age children enhance children's knowledge and skills related to first aid and basic life support.
