การฟื้นฟูสภาพในผู้ป่วยที่ได้รับการผ่าตัดกระดูกสันหลังระดับบั้นเอว : บทบาทพยาบาล

Abstract

การผ่าตัดกระดูกสันหลังระดับบั้นเอว (Lumbar spine surgery) เป็นการรักษาเพื่อแก้ไขการกดทับเส้นประสาทไขสันหลัง และทำให้กระดูกสันหลังมั่นคง ป้องกันไม่ให้มีการเลื่อนของกระดูกสันหลังเพิ่มขึ้น พยาธิสภาพที่เกิดขึ้นหลังผ่าตัด และผลลัพธ์จากการผ่าตัดอาจส่งผลกระทบต่อการดำเนินชีวิตของผู้ป่วยหากมีการดูแลตนเองไม่เหมาะสม ซึ่งอาจทำให้เกิดภาวะแทรกซ้อนต่าง ๆ ตามมาได้ การฟื้นฟูสภาพหลังผ่าตัดจึงเป็นสิ่งสำคัญที่ผู้ป่วยจะต้องมีความรู้ และทักษะในการดูแลตนเองให้สามารถกลับมาดำเนินชีวิตให้ใกล้เคียงกับสภาวะปกติมากที่สุด โดยเฉพาะความสามารถในการทำกิจกรรมทางกายซึ่งมีความจำเป็นต่อการปฏิบัติกิจวัตรประจำวัน การกลับไปทำงานหรือประกอบอาชีพ บทบาทของพยาบาลที่สำคัญคือการส่งเสริมให้ผู้ป่วยมีการฟื้นฟูสภาพอย่างครอบคลุมทั้งด้านร่างกายและจิตใจ รวมไปถึงการปฏิบัติตัวที่ถูกต้องเหมาะสมในการฟื้นฟูสภาพตั้งแต่ระยะแรกหลังผ่าตัดจนกระทั่งการฟื้นฟูสภาพที่ต่อเนื่องที่บ้าน เพื่อให้ผู้ป่วยมีการฟื้นฟูสภาพได้อย่างรวดเร็ว ลดภาวะแทรกซ้อนที่อาจจะเกิดขึ้นหลังผ่าตัด และยังช่วยลดระยะเวลาการนอนโรงพยาบาลได้อีกด้วย

Rehabilitation after surgery was important for patients to have knowledge and skill of self-care, especially for the functional ability to do physical activity, which is necessary for daily activities on returning to work or occupation. For the role of the nurse, it will be necessary to encourage patients to have a comprehensive physical and mental rehabilitation, including appropriate behavior in the rehabilitation phase. For the role of the nurse, It must focus on the use of techniques to encourage patients to set goals in order to manage the symptoms or complications that occur after surgery. For patients to rehabilitate quickly, it reduce complications after surgery. It also reduces the length of hospital stay, resulting in the patient being able to return to normal life.
