ปัจจัยที่เกี่ยวข้องกับสุขภาพจิตและภาวะซึมเศร้าของผู้ดูแลผู้ป่วยโควิด-19 ที่พักรักษาตัวอยู่ที่บ้าน ในจังหวัดสมุทรปราการ

Abstract

วิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาปัจจัยที่เกี่ยวข้องกับสุขภาพจิตและภาวะซึมเศร้าในผู้ดูแลผู้ป่วยโควิด-19 ที่ พักรักษาตัวอยู่ที่บ้าน ในจังหวัดสมุทรปราการ จำนวน 64 คน เครื่องมือวิจัย คือ แบบสอบถาม วิเคราะห์ด้วยสถิติไคสแควร์ สถิติฟิชเชอร์เอ็กแซ็ก และสถิติสหสัมพันธ์ ผลการวิจัย พบว่า ส่วนใหญ่เป็นเพศหญิง 45 คน (70.31%) ช่วงอายุ 18-32 ปี 57 คน (81.25%) ต้องดูแลผู้ป่วยที่ผู้ป่วยโควิด-19 มากกว่า 4 ชั่วโมงต่อวัน 46 คน (71.87%) และปัจจัยด้านสังคมและความรู้ด้านสุขศึกษา ปัจจัยด้านสุขภาพ และปัจจัยด้านสิ่งแวดล้อม โดยปัจจัยที่สัมพันธ์กับสุขภาพจิต ได้แก่ เพศ (p-value =0.04) ที่อยู่ปัจจุบัน (p-value = 0.01) และปัจจัยที่มีความสัมพันธ์กับภาวะซึมเศร้า คือ จานวนผู้ป่วยที่ต้องดูแล (p-value =0.02) ข้อเสนอแนะควรมีการศึกษาความสามารถในการเผชิญปัญหาและในกลุ่มผู้ดูแลผู้ป่วยโรคอื่น ๆ

This study aimed to determine the relevant factors associated with mental health and depression among 64 caregivers of COVID-19 home isolation patients, living in Samut Prakan Province. The research instruments were questionnaires. The statistical analysis were Chi-square, Fisher’s Exact test, and Correlation. Results showed the majority of the samples were female (45 persons, 70.31%), most of them were in age group of 18-32 years (57 persons; 81.25%), taking care of COVID-19 patient more than 4 hours a day (46 persons; 71.87%), social factors and knowledge of health education, health factors, and environmental factors. The results revealed that factors related to mental health were gender, value (p-value = 0.04), current residence (p-value = 0.01). Moreover, factors related to depression were number of patients COVID-19 to be taken care. (p-value = 0.02). For further study, the coping abilities for care givers and performance to take care other diseases should be studied.
