ภาวะสุขภาพจิตของนักศึกษาวิทยาศาสตร์สุขภาพชั้นปีที่ 1 ของมหาวิทยาลัยหัวเฉียวเฉลิมพระเกียรติ

Abstract

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาภาวะสุขภาพจิตและความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างปัจจัยต่างๆ กับภาวะสุขภาพจิตของนักศึกษาทางด้านวิทยาศาสตร์สุขภาพชั้นปีที่ 1 มหาวิทยาลัยหัวเฉียวเฉลิมพระเกียรติ ภาคการศึกษาที่ 1 ปีการศึกษา 2551 จำนวน 301 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย คือ แบบสอบถามสุขภาพทั่วไป GHQ-28 (General health questionnaire-28) กลุ่มตัวอย่างเลือกโดยการสุ่มจากกลุ่มการเรียน วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้สถิติ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐานและ chi square ผลการศึกษาพบว่า มีนักศึกษามีภาวะสุขภาพจิตปรกติร้อยละ 57.5 และผู้มีปัญหาสุขภาพจิต ร้อยละ 42.5 นักศึกษาคณะเทคนิคการแพทย์มีปัญหาสุขภาพจิตมากที่สุด ร้อยละ 56.0 ปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อสุขภาพจิตอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ (p< 0.05) คือ ปัญหาทางด้านการเรียน ปัญหาทางด้านการเงิน และหากนักศึกษาพบปัญหาทางด้านต่างๆ จะปรึกษากับบิดา-มารดามากที่สุด ร้อยละ 60.1

The objectives of this research were to explore the mental health and factors influencing mental health. The research included 301 first year health science students at Huachiew Chalermprakiet University in the first semester during the academic year 2008. The samples were selected by random sampling out of class sections. The instrument was standardized GHQ-28 (General health questionnaire-28). Data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics and chi square. The results indicated that most of the first year health science students (57.5%) had good mental health. Some (42.5%) of them had mental health problems. Medical technology students had the most mental health problems (56.0%). There were significant relationships between the academic achievement and financial problems resulting in mental health complications at the 0.05 level of significance. Most students (60.1%) tended to consult with their parents in case of problems related to mental health.
