This paper studies the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the use of Chinese language in tourist attractions in Rattanakosin, Thailand. The scope of the study includes a comparison on the use of Chinese before and after the Covid-19 pandemic within the premises of Rattanakosin tourist attractions. In terms of research methodology, four methods have been adopted, which are, literature review, on-site observation and investigation, questionnaire and statistical analysis. Both quantitative and qualitative approaches are taken to ensure the study and analyses are based on authentic data and lead to accurate results. The research reveals that Covid-19 has impacted Rattanakosin tourist attractions in the following aspects: 1) Chinese is used less frequently during the pandemic than before; 2) The ways of using Chinese remain the same as before; 3) Issues with translation remains, although more Covid-related Chinese content has been added; 4) business people and workers in the area are still incompetent in Chinese language just like before。Based on these findings, this paper suggests some solutions to deal with the issues. It also points out that there have been some new requirements for Chinese language service, and that additional contents need to be added in business Chinese language service as a response to the pandemic. It is hoped that administrators, investors, and employees in Thailand tourism industry will be better informed by the findings of this paper so as to make improvement on their work.-
