การสนับสนุนการศึกษาภาษาจีนและระบบการศึกษาไทยขององค์กรชาวไทยเชื้อสายจีนในประเทศไทย

Abstract

บทความวิชาการนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อแสดงให้เห็นถึงที่มา หลักการ แนวคิด และการดำเนินการต่างๆ ในการสนับสนุนการศึกษาภาษาจีน และระบบการศึกษาของประเทศไทยในภาพรวม ขององค์กรชาวไทยเชื้อสายจีนในประเทศไทย โดยรวบรวมข้อมูลหลักจากรายงานการวิจัย เอกสารประเภทหนังสือที่ระลึก เอกสารรายงานประจำปีขององค์กรชาวไทยเชื้อสายจีนในประเทศไทย จากการรวบรวมข้อมูล พบว่า องค์กรชาวไทยเชื้อสายจีนมีบทบาทสำคัญในการสนับสนุนการศึกษาภาษาจีนและสนับสนุนระบบการศึกษาของไทยในหลายมิติอย่างยาวนานนับร้อยปี โดยมีจุดเริ่มต้นจากการให้ความช่วยเหลือกันเองในกลุ่มชาวจีนอพยพ การก่อตั้งโรงเรียนจีนเพื่อให้ลูกหลานได้เรียนรู้ภาษาและวัฒนธรรมจีน และพัฒนามาเป็นการช่วยเหลือสังคมไทย รวมถึงระบบการศึกษาในภาพรวม โดยมีแนวคิดหลักจากคำสอนของปรมาจารย์ขงจื่อ ที่ให้ความสำคัญกับการศึกษา ความรู้คู่คุณธรรม การพัฒนาตนเอง และการรับใช้สังคม ประกอบกับแนวคิดพุทธศาสนา ด้านการทำบุญ สร้างกุศล การบริจาคทรัพย์ และปฏิปทาเพื่อสาธารณประโยชน์ตามแบบอย่างของบรรพชน และบุคคลตัวอย่าง เช่น หลวงปู่ไต้ฮงกง เป็นต้น

This academic article aims to demonstrate the origins, principles, concepts, and various actions in supporting Chinese language education and the overall education system of Thailand by Chinese-Thai organizations in Thailand. The main data is collected from research reports, commemorate books, and annual reports of Chinese-Thai organizations in Thailand. The data collection reveals that Chinese-Thai organizations have played an important role in supporting Chinese language education and the education system in many dimensions for hundreds of years. It started with mutual assistance among Chinese immigrants, the establishment of Chinese schools for their children to learn Chinese language and culture, and has developed into assistance for Thai society, including the overall education system. The main concept comes from the teachings of the Confucius master who emphasized, knowledge with morality, self-development, and service to society, along with Buddhist concepts of making merit, donating money and practicing for public benefit, following the example of ancestors and role models such as Tai Hong Kong.
