ภาพสะท้อนสังคมไทยในเรื่องสั้นของกนกพงศ์ สงสมพันธุ์ พ.ศ. 2548-2550

Abstract

การวิจัยเรื่องนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อวิเคราะห์ภาพสะท้อนสังคมไทยในเรื่องสั้นของกนกพงศ์ สงสมพันธุ์ พ.ศ. 2548-2550 โดยศึกษาหนังสือ จำนวน 5 เล่ม รวมเรื่องสั้น 40 เรื่อง และนำเสนอผลการวิจัยแบบพรรณนาวิเคราะห์ ผลการวิจัยพบว่า ภาพสะท้อนสังคมไทยในเรื่องสั้นของกนกพงศ์ สงสมพันธุ์ พ.ศ. 2548-2550 ได้แสดงให้เห็นภาพสังคมไทย 4 ด้านได้แก่ 1) ด้านที่อยู่อาศัย คนไทยมีชีวิตความเป็นอยู่ในชนบทและในเมืองแตกต่างกันตามสภาพแวดล้อม ด้านการประกอบอาชีพ อาชีพต่างๆ ส่วนมากเป็นอาชีพที่มีความเจริญก้าวหน้า ด้านการคมนาคม การเดินทางมีความสะดวก แต่มีปัญหาการจราจรที่แออัดวุ่นวาย 2) ความสัมพันธ์ของคนในสังคมไทย สะท้อนความสัมพันธ์ในครอบครัวและคนในชุมชน มีทั้งความสัมพันธ์ที่ดีและมีความขัดแย้ง เนื่องจากความเห็นแก่ตัวและการเอารัดเอาเปรียบกัน 3) ด้านคุณธรรม คนไทยมีความซื่อสัตย์ ความกตัญญู ความรับผิดชอบ และความขยันหมั่นเพียร 4) ด้านความเชื่อและประเพณี คนไทยมีความเชื่อเรื่องกรรม การทำดีได้ดี ทำชั่วได้ชั่ว ยังมีความเชื่อเรื่องการเกิด เชื่อว่าทุกสิ่งที่เกิดมามีความเท่าเทียมกัน และมีประเพณีที่สำคัญ คือ ประเพณีเกี่ยวกับพุทธศาสนาและประเพณีทำขวัญข้าว เรื่องสั้นสะท้อนปัญหาสังคมไทยและแนวทางแก้ไขปัญหา ได้แก่ 1) ปัญหาด้านครอบครัว แก้ไขโดยคนในครอบครัว สามีกับภรรยามีความซื่อสัตย์ ดูแลเอาใจใส่ผู้สูงอายุและเด็กกับเยาวชน 2) ปัญหาความยากจน คนไทยจึงควรพึ่งพาตนเอง มีความขยันหมั่นเพียร 3) ปัญหาการศึกษา ครูกับพ่อแม่จึงควรเข้าใจและให้ความสนับสนุนเด็ก ยกเลิกการใช้วิธีรุนแรงลงโทษเด็ก 4) ปัญหาอาชญากรรม แนวทางการแก้ไข คือ ใช้นโยบายของรัฐบาลและการควบคุมจากข้าราชการ จะทำให้สังคมไทยมีความสงบสุข

This research objective was to analyzed the reflection of Thai Society together with its problems and solutions in Kanokphong Sangsomphan's 40 short stories from five books writtem between years 2005-2007 by descriptive analysis method. The study revealed that the reflection of Thai society in Kanokphong's short story has been shown in five four aspects, which are 1) dwelling: There are some differences between people who live in rural and urban areas because of the environment. Almost urban people have grwoth opportunities in their career paths and are surrounded by convenient but congested communication 2) relationship: The relationship between both family and community members does not only express good aspects but also conflicts caused by selfishness and exploitation 3) Morality: The Thai give precedence to honesty, gratitude, responsibility and diligence 4) belief and tradition: Thai people believe in karma system what goes around comes around, reincarnation. Their significant traditions are Buddhist traditions and the rice spirit worhship ritual. About social problems and solutions, there are 1) family problem that can be solved by all members honesty and intensive care of people, children and juveniles 2) poverty problem that can be solved self-sufficiency and diligence 3) education problem severe punishment that can be solved by understanding, mental support and abolishment of severe punishment 4) crime problem that can be solve by government policies and protection from government officers.
