ความรู้และพฤติกรรมการจัดการจัดการขยะมูลฝอยตามหลัก 5Rs ของนักศึกษา คณะสาธารณสุขศาสตร์และสิ่งแวดล้อม มหาวิทยาลัยหัวเฉียวเฉลิมพระเกียรติ

Abstract

การศึกษาครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ 1) เพื่อศึกษาระดับความรู้และพฤติกรรมการจัดการขยะมูลฝอยตามหลัก 5Rs ของนักศึกษาคณะสาธารณสุขศาสตร์และสิ่งแวดล้อม 2) เพื่อเปรียบเทียบความรู้และพฤติกรรมการจัดการขยะมูลฝอยตามหลัก 5Rs ของนักศึกษาคณะสาธารณสุขศาสตร์และสิ่งแวดล้อม จำแนกตามสาขาวิชา และ 3) เพื่อศึกษาความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างความรู้และพฤติกรรมการจัดการขยะมูลฝอยตามหลัก 5Rs ของนักศึกษาคณะสาธารณสุขศาสตร์และสิ่งแวดล้อม กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้งานวิจัย ได้แก่ นักศึกษา ชั้นปีที่ 3 คณะสาธารณสุขศาสตร์และสิ่งแวดล้อม มหาวิทยาลัยหัวเฉียวเฉลิมพระเกียรติ ปีการศึกษา 2558 จำนวน 155 คน โดยใช้แบบสอบถามเป็นเครื่องมือในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูล แบบสอบถามความรู้มีความเชื่อมั่นเท่ากับ 0.62 แบบสอบพฤติกรรมมีความเชื่อมั่นเท่ากับ 0.87 สถิติที่ใช้วิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ค่าเฉลี่ย ค่าส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน เปรียบเทียบความแตกต่างด้วย ANOVA โดยทดสอบรายคู่ด้วย LSD (Least Significant Difference) และศึกษาความสัมพันธ์ด้วยค่าสหสัมพันธ์แบบเพียร์สัน (r) ผลการศึกษาพบว่า 1) นักศึกษาคณะสาธารณสุขศาสตร์และสิ่งแวดล้อม มีความรู้และพฤติกรรมการจัดการขยะมูลฝอยตามหลัก 5Rs อยู่ในระดับปานกลาง นักศึกษาใช้กลยุทธ์ Reuse มากที่สุด และใช้กลยุทธ์ Recycle น้อยที่สุด 2) ผลการเปรียบเทียบความรู้และพฤติกรรมการจัดการขยะมูลฝอยตามหลัก 5Rs ของนักศึกษาคณะสาธารณสุขศาสตร์และสิ่งแวดล้อม จำแนกตามสาขาวิชา พบความแตกต่างอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ 0.05 และผลการเปรียบเทียบรายคู่สาขาวิชาพบว่า นักศึกษาสาขาวิชาอนามัยสิ่งแวดล้อมแตกต่างอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ 0.05 กับสาขาอื่น 3) ความรู้และพฤติกรรมการจัดการขยะมูลฝอยตามหลัก 5Rs ของนักศึกษาคณะสาธารณสุขศาสตร์และสิ่งแวดล้อม มีความสัมพันธ์กันอย่างไม่มีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ

The objectives of this research were 1) to study levels of knowledge and behavior on solid waste management using 5Rs techniques among undergraduate students in Faculty of Public Health and Environment; 2) to compare knowledge and behavior on solid waste management using 5Rs techniques among undergraduate students in Faculty of Public Health and Environmental as classified by disciplines; and 3) to find out the relationship between the knowledge and the behavior. The researcher selected a population sample consisting of 155 third-year undergraduate students in Faculty of Public Health and Environmental at Huachiew Chalermprakiet University (the academic year 2015). The instruments used to gather data were an achievement test (reliability = 0.62) and a practice scale (reliability = 0.87). The statistical analysis used were mean, standard deviation, ANOVA test using LSD (Least Significant Difference) for comparing, and the Pearson’s correlation coefficient for findings out the relationship. The findings revealed that: 1) Knowledge and behavior on solid waste management using 5Rs techniques of undergraduate students in Faculty of Public Health and Environment were fair. Reuse techniques was the most used and Recycle techniques was the least used. 2) A Comparison of the knowledge and the behavior as classified by disciplines were found to be significantly different at the 0.05 level. Comparison using LSD were found to be significantly different at the 0.05 level between undergraduate students in a discipline of Environmental Health and other disciplines. 3) There was non-significant relationship between the knowledge and the behavior.
