การวิเคราะห์ตัวละครในนวนิยายแปลของหยูหัว

Abstract

งานวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อวิเคราะห์ตัวละคนในนวนิยายแปลของนักเขียนชาวจีนหยูหัว (Yu Hua, 1960) จำนวน 5 เล่ม ได้แก่ เรื่องพี่กับน้อง เรื่องเจ็ดวันหลังความตาย เรื่อง คนตายยาก เรื่องคนขายเลือด และเรื่องเสียงร่ำไห้กลางสายฝน ผู้วิจัยศึกษาข้อมูลจากเอกสาร และเสนอผลการวิจัยแบบพรรณนาวิเคราะห์ ผลการวิจัยพบว่า ในนวนิยายแปลของหยูหัว ตัวละครชายมีลักษณะนิสัยในด้านดี คือ มีความอดทนและความพยายาม มีความรับผิดชอบต่อครอบครัว มองโลกในแง่ดีและต่อสู้ชีวิตที่ยากลำบาก และการมีน้ำใจช่วยเหลือคนอื่น ตัวละครชายเป็นหัวหน้าครอบครัว ต้องอดทนต่อสู้และดำเนินชีวิตอย่างลำบากและเผชิญกับเหตุการณ์ร้ายแรงด้วยความเข้มแข็งและการมองโลกในแง่ดี ส่วนด้านไม่ดี คือ จิตใจแข็งกระด้าง หยาบคาย มีนิสัยโหดร้าย มีความวิปริตและหมกหมุ่นทางเพศ ผิดขนบธรรมเนียมประเพณีจีน ทำให้ครอบครัวและคนอื่นเดือดร้อนหรือเสียใจ ได้รับบาดเจ็บหรือเสียชีวิตได้ ตัวละครหญิงที่มีลักษณะนิสัยในด้านดี คือ มีความอดทนเข้มแข็งต่อสู้กับชีวิตที่ยากลำบาก ประหยัดค่าใช้จ่ายเพื่อให้ครอบครัวอยู่รอดและทุกคนมีความสุข ในด้านไม่ดี คือ เพศสัมพันธ์กับผู้ชายที่ไม่ได้แต่งงานหรือไม่ได้เป็นสามี ไม่ซื่อสัตย์ต่อสามี กระทำผิดขนบธรรมเนียมประเพณีจีนและศีลธรรม ด้านบทบาทของตัวละครในนวนิยายแปลของหยูหัว พบว่า ตัวละครมีบทบาทในครอบครัวในฐานะที่เป็นสามี ภรรยา บิดา มารดา บุตร และเป็นพี่น้อง มีบทบาทในครอบครัวและทางสังคมโดยการประกอบอาชีพเป็นเกษตรกร คนงาน ครู พนักงานรัฐ และนักธุรกิจ

This documentary research aimed to analyze the characteris in translated novels into Thai of Yu Hua (1960), a Chinese writer. Five novels were studied, which were Brothers (2009); To Live (2009); Chronicle of a Blood Merchant (2009); The Seventh Days (2014); and Cries in the Drizzle (2014). The findings were reported as a descriptive analysis. Regarding to traits of characters, both kind and unkind male characters were found. The kind male characters were hard working; striving; responsible to families; having positive point of view; and considerate. Particularly, the male householders were diligent; enduring to hard lives, and defeated sufferings by their strength and positive attitude. For the unkind male characters, they were rough; rude; cruel; sexuallu obsessed; careless to Chinese traditions, and caused the families or others sufferings; regrets; hurts or death. For female characters, the positive and negative traits were found as well. Positive traits of female characters were patience; strength; fighting spirits; and thrift for the families. Negative traits were having extra sexual affairs; infidelity; and infringing Chinese moral or traditions. For roles of characters, major family members, husbands; wives; father; mothers; sons and daughters and sisters, showed their roles in the families and communities through their professions as farmers, workers, officers, and traders.
