ปัญหาและแนวทางแก้ไขปัญหาของคนชายขอบในนวนิยายไทย พ.ศ. 2540-2565

Abstract

บทความวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อวิเคราะห์ปัญหาและแนวทางแก้ไขปัญหาของคนชายขอบในนวนิยายไทย พ.ศ. 2540-2565จํานวน 5เรื่อง ผู้วิจัยใช้วิธีการศึกษาเชิงคุณภาพตามกรอบแนวคิดปัญหาและแนวทางแก้ไขปัญสังคม และแนวคิดเกี่ยวกับคนชายขอบ วิเคราะห์ตัวบทวรรณกรรมโดยพิจารณาจากความหมายของคําประพันธ์ ผลการวิจัยพบว่า นวนิยายดังกล่าวได้สะท้อนปัญหาทั่วไปของคนชายขอบกลุ่มต่าง ๆ จํานวน 4ด้าน ได้แก่ 1) ปัญหาด้านที่อยู่อาศัย พบว่าคนชายขอบส่วนมากไม่มีบ้านของตนเองและต้องเช่าบ้านที่มีสภาพทรุดโทรม อันตราย และไม่ถูกสุขลักษณะ 2) ปัญหาความรุนแรงทางร่างกาย พบว่าคนชายขอบถูกทําร้ายร่างกายโดยไม่มีเหตุผลอันสมควร และไม่สามารถปกป้องตนเองได้ 3) ปัญหาถูกกีดกันพบว่า คนชายขอบถูกคนในชุมชนดูถูกเหยียดหยาม และไม่ได้รับการยอมรับในการเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมร่วมกัน และ4) ปัญหาการศึกษา พบว่าครอบครัวคนชายขอบไม่ให้ความสําคัญกับการศึกษาของเด็กซึ่งทําให้เด็กสูญเสียโอกาสในการเรียนรู้และเสี่ยงต่อการกระทําผิดกฎหมาย นอกจากนี้ ยังพบปัญหาเฉพาะกลุ่มคนชายขอบในบริบทสังคมและวัฒนธรรม ได้แก่ ปัญหาครอบครัว และปัญหาสุขภาพจิต ปัญหาเฉพาะกลุ่มคนชายขอบในบริบทภูมิศาสตร์และชาติพันธุ์ ได้แก่ ปัญหาในการขอสัญชาติไทย และปัญหาความขัดแย้งทางชาติพันธุ์ ปัญหาเฉพาะกลุ่มคนชายขอบในบริบทเศรษฐกิจ ได้แก่ ปัญหาความปลอดภัยในการทํางาน และปัญหาค่าแรง ส่วนแนวทางแก้ไขปัญหาของคนชายขอบ พบว่า ผู้เขียนได้เสนอแนะแนวทางแก้ไขปัญหาสุขภาพจิตแนวทางแก้ไขปัญหาขาดแคลนทุนทรัพย์ แนวทางแก้ไขปัญหาการเลี้ยงดูเด็กบ้านแตก แนวทางแก้ไขปัญหาการศึกษา และแนวทางแก้ไขปัญหาความรุนแรงทางจิตใจ

This research article aims to analyze problems and solutions of the marginalized presented in five Thai novels, published during 1997 –2022. Research methodologies include the qualitative study according to studies of social problems and resolutions; perceptions of the marginalized; and text analysis focusing on the semantic. The research finds four aspects of problems of the marginalized, as the following. 1) Residence, most houses of the marginalized are insecure, unhealthy, shabby rented rooms. 2) Physical violence, generally the marginalized is unprotected and frequently harmed by chances. 3) Discrimination, the marginalized is not welcomed by other members of communities and deprived to participate in activities of their communities. 4) Education, the marginalized does not deem education important for their children, so they are left off and risky to break laws. In addition, particular problems are found in some social and cultural groups of the marginalized, including broken family; mental disorder; application for Thai nationality; conflicts between ethnic groups; and economic problems about risky work and low wages. As stated problems, the writers propose resolutions for mental issues; lacking of funding; taking care of broken home children; education; and mental violence.
