泰语中的潮州方言借词研究

Abstract

借词是指一个语言从其他语言中吸收进来的词语。它对丰富和发展一个 民族的语言起着重要的作用。 泰语吸收汉语的词汇很多,借用最多就来自南方方言,尤其是潮州话。 其范围也非常广泛,囊括了饮食、日常用品、商业、宗教与风俗、行业、服饰 与装饰品、游艺、赌博、地点与地名和其他名称,其中饮食类数量最多。这些 词汇在泰语中有着显著的特点,蕴涵着浓厚的中国文化。 泰语中的潮州方言借词,在借用方式上主要采用音译法,但借入之后语 音也发生了一些变化,如声调进行了泰化。在意义上,大部分都跟原来的词汇 一样。有些词汇的意义跟原来的词汇不一样,可能是借用时会误会。

Loanword refers to a word that enters a language through borrowing from some other language. That would result in one's nation language was greatly developed. Thai language has adopted many loanwords from Chinese that mostly are from southern dialect, especially Teochew (Chaozhou) dialect. The scope of the loanword is very wide, covering food, appliance, occupation, business, religion and tradition, clothing and accessories, art and music, gambling, place and place name, other name. As for the meaning, mainly still same as the original language, however it has only some loanword that quite different from its original due to misunderstanding while borrowed.
