การศึกษาความต้องการและการใช้ทรัพยากรสารสนเทศในการเขียนเชิงวิชาการของอาจารย์มหาวิทยาลัยหัวเฉียวเฉลิมพระเกียรติ

Abstract

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาความต้องการ การใช้ และวัตถุประสงค์ในการใช้ ทรัพยากรสารสนเทศ ตลอดจนเปรียบเทียบความต้องการ และการใช้ทรัพยากรสารสนเทศในการเขียนเชิงวิชาการของอาจารย์มหาวิทยาลัยหัวเฉียวเฉลิมพระเกียรติ กลุ่มตัวอย่างเป็นอาจารย์มหาวิทยาลัยหัวเฉียวเฉลิมพระเกียรติ จำนวน 179 คน ซึ่งได้มาโดยการสุ่มตัวอย่างชั้นภูมิชนิดที่เป็นสัดส่วน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยเป็นแบบสอบถามซึ่งผู้วิจัยสร้างขึ้นโดยมีค่าความเชื่อมั่นแบบสัมประสิทธิ์แอลฟา เท่ากับ .8467 ผลการวิจัยพบว่าอาจารย์มีความต้องการหนังสือและตำรา โดยเป็นภาษาไทยและภาษาอังกฤษ มีอายุเป็นปีใหม่ล่าสุด โดยต้องการเนื้อหารายละเอียดเฉพาะเรื่องที่มีเนื้อหาครบถ้วนและให้ข้อมูลถูกต้องมากที่สุด การใช้พบว่าอาจารย์ใช้หนังสือและตำราโดยเป็นภาษาไทยและภาษาอังกฤษ โดยมีอายุระหว่างปีใหม่ล่าสุดถึง 5 ปีที่ผ่านมา โดยเนื้อหารายละเอียดเฉพาะเรื่อง เนื้อหาครบถ้วนและให้ข้อมูลถูกต้องมากที่สุด วัตถุประสงค์ในการใช้ทรัพยากรสารสนเทศของอาจารย์ ส่วนใหญ่ใช้เขียนเอกสารประกอบการสอน งานวิจัยและเอกสารคำสอนตามลำดับ โดยแหล่งค้นคว้าเป็นห้องสมุดภายในมหาวิทยาลัย ห้องสมุดภายนอก อินเทอร์เน็ต และทรัพยากรสารสนเทศส่วนตัวตามลำดับ เมื่อศึกษาเปรียบเทียบความต้องการและการใช้ทรัพยากรสารสนเทศในการเขียนเชิงวิชาการพบว่ามีในด้านรูปแบบ ภาษา ขอบเขต และลักษณะของทรัพยากรสารสนเทศมีความแตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .01 และ .05 สำหรับด้านความทันสมัยของทรัพยากรสารสนเทศพบว่ามีความไม่แตกต่างกันทุกรายการ

This survey’s objective is to study the needs, uses and requirement in the utilization of information resources. It also attempts to compare theses needs and the utilization of information resources in the academic writing of Huachiew Chalermprakiet University teaching staff. The subject of this study are 179 Huachiew Chalermprakiet University teaching staff. They were sampled by the proportionate stratified random sampling method. The utilized in the survey is by a questionnaire constructed by the researchers. The reliability of the questionnaire was calculated by the alpha coefficient formula and indicated a reliability of 8467. The result of the survey indicates indicates that teachers require current books and texts in both Thai and English. They require subjects that provide extensive detail and accurate information. It was found that teachers usually require books and texts in English and Thai that are not more than five years old. That provide detailed information and compete and accurate information. The utilization of information resources by teachers are generally for writing teaching materials, research materials and teacher’s guides. The subject generally search for these in the university library and outside private libraries respectively. The comparative study of the needs and methods of utilization of information resources in academic writing demonstrated statistically significant differences at level .01 and .05 in every case except for the age of information resources which was not statistically significant.
