Promoting students’ verbal participation in EFL classrooms seems to be played down by some pedagogical constraints. Most teachers have been bounding with the contents of the course book, rushing to teach in a limited-time class. The generalization of not speaking English in an English class has been made and accepted by many students. Most of the times in an English class, more than half of the students in class are seen as passive and lack oral participation. Such behavior of students has long been making many teachers frustrated and bored and sometimes causes pedagogical problems for teachers. Thus, in this paper, the writer aims to raise EFL teachers and students’ awareness of the value of verbal participation interaction for the limited-time class so that students may increase their verbal participation which will enhance their language learning.en_US
