| Abstract: | This article contains an introduction of a journalistic style of writing for English learners. Basic techniques of mass media writing and characteristics of news articles are briefly described with examples of news reports from Thai and international news agencies. The main content of this article is focused on current situations in Thailand. How to write interesting news headlines and leads are also included with a brief explanation of the AP writing style commonly used in mass media publication. |
