นักสังคมสงเคราะห์ต้องปฏิบัติหน้าที่ให้ความช่วยเหลือผู้ประสบปัญหาทางสังคมที่เกิดจากความไม่เสมอภาคและความอยุติธรรมทางสังคมซึ่งเป็นปัญหาที่มีความทับซ้อนและซับซ้อนจึงต้องทํางานร่วมกับสหวิชาชีพในการให้ความช่วยเหลือในทุกระดับซึ่งผู้ปฏิบัติงานสังคมสงเคราะห์ควรมีความรู้ทักษะเพื่อให้สามารถทํางานร่วมกับผู้รับบริการและทีมสหวิชาชีพได้ ทั้งนี้การปรับปรุงรูปแบบการเรียนรู้ที่จะทําให้ผู้เรียนสามารถเปลี่ยนแปลงตนเองได้อย่างแท้จริงโดยการประยุกต์ใช้ทฤษฎีการเรียนรู้สู่การเปลี่ยนแปลงโดยการจัดสภาพการเรียนรู้ให้ผู้เรียนได้เผชิญกับประสบการณ์ใหม่ที่ไม่เป็นไปตามมุมเดิมของตนเกิดการใคร่ครวญอย่างมีวิจารณญาณการสนทนาเชิงวิพากษ์และการเปลี่ยนกรอบอ้างอิงชุดใหม่ บทความนี้ได้นําเสนอตัวอย่างของการประยุกต์ใช้การเรียนรู้สู่การเปลี่ยนแปลงในบริบทของสังคมไทยโดยมุ่งหวังให้เกิดการประยุกต์ใช้ในการจัดการเรียนรู้ในการศึกษาสังคมสงเคราะห์ที่จะทําให้ผู้เรียนเกิดศักยภาพใหม่อันจะนําไปสู่ทักษะและศักยภาพใหม่ในการให้การช่วยเหลือ
