การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาความเชื่อและพิธีกรรมของวัดบรมราชากาญจนาภิเษกอนุสรณ์ (วัดเล่งเน่ยยี่ 2) จังหวัดนนทบุรี เพื่อวิเคราะห์บทบาทของความเชื่อและพิธีกรรมที่เกี่ยวข้องกับวัดบรมราชากาญจนาภิเษกอนุสรณ์ (วัดเล่งเน่ยยี่ 2) ที่มีต่อสังคมไทย การวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพที่ศึกษาข้อมูลจากเอกสาร และใช้วิธีเก็บข้อมูลภาคสนามด้วยการสัมภาษณ์แบบเจาะลึก จากผู้ที่เกี่ยวข้องของวัดบรมราชากาญจนาภิเษกอนุสรณ์ (วัดเล่งเน่ยยี่ 2) จำนวน 29 คน แล้วนำข้อมูลมาศึกษาวิเคราะห์ และนำเสนอผลการวิจัยแบบพรรณนาวิเคราะห์ผลการวิจัยพบว่า ความเชื่อที่ปรากฎภายในวัดบรมราชากาญจนาภิเษกอนุสรณ์ (วัดเล่งเน่ยยี่ 2) ทั้งหมดมี 8 ความเชื่อ ได้แก่ ความเชื่อเรื่องการแก้ปีชง ความเชื่อเรื่องการเสริมโชคลาภ ความเชื่อเรื่องสุขภาพแข็งแรง ความเชื่อเรื่องอุปถัมภ์ค้ำจุน ความเชื่อเรื่องการศึกษา ความเชื่อเรื่องการขอความรัก ความเชื่อเรื่องการทำบุญเพื่ออุทิศให้กับผู้ล่วงลับ และความเชื่อเรื่องเครื่องรางของขลัง ซึ่ง 8 ความเชื่อนี้ ประกอบด้วยความปรารถนาและคำอวยพรที่แตกต่างกันของผู้ศรัทธา และพิธีกรรมที่สำคัญในรอบปีของวัดบรมราชากาญจนาภิเษกอนุสรณ์ (วัดเล่งเน่ยยี่ 2) ทั้งหมดมี 11 พิธีกรรม ได้แก่ งานบูชาขอบคุณสิ่งศักดิ์สิทธิ์ (เสี่ยซิ้ง) พิธีไหว้รับเทพเจ้าไฉ่สิ่งเอี๊ย เทศกาลตรุษจีน งานพะเก่ง-ก้งจูเทียน งานทำบุญอุทิศส่วนกุศล เทศกาลเช็งเม้ง เทศกาลสงกรานต์ งานบรรพชาสามเณรนักเรียนจีนนิกายมหายาน งานทิ้งกระจาดมหาทาน เทศกาลถือศีลกินเจ และวันบูชาขอบคุณซือหู ซึ่ง 11 พิธีกรรมนี้ สะท้อนให้เห็นถึงการถ่ายทอดความคิดและความเชื่อจากขนบธรรมเนียมประเพณีที่แตกต่างกัน จากความเชื่อและพิธีกรรมสะท้อนให้เห็นถึงบทบาทของความเชื่อและพิธีกรรมที่เกี่ยวข้องกับวัดบรมราชากาญจนาภิเษกอนุสรณ์ (วัดเล่งเน่ยยี่ 2) ที่มีต่อสังคมไทย คือ บทบาทด้านจิตใจ ช่วยยึดเหนี่ยวจิตใจ ให้ผู้ศรัทธามีกำลังใจในการดำรงชีวิต ส่งเสริมให้ยึดหลักคุณธรรมจริยธรรมและช่วยให้เกิดความสามัคคีในชุมชน บทบาทด้านสังคม จัดงานทำบุญเพื่อเป็นการช่วยเหลือแก่ผู้ยากไร้ ก่อตั้งโรงเรียนภายในชุมชนเพื่อแก้ปัญหาการเรียนของเด็ก บทบาทด้านเศรษฐกิจ สามารถส่งเสริมรายได้ให้กับวัด ชาวบ้านและชุมชน ยังสามารถส่งเสริมการท่องเที่ยวทางวัฒนธรรมไทย-จีน บทบาทด้านวัฒนธรรม ช่วยสืบทอดวัฒนธรรมความเชื่อไทย-จีนให้คงอยู่ และช่วยเผยแพร่วัฒนธรรมด้านความเชื่อไทย-จีน
This research aimed to study the beliefs and rituals of Wat Boromracha Kanchanaphisek Anusorn. (Wat Leng Nei Yi 2) Nonthaburi Province and to analyze roles of beliefs and rituals of Wat Boromracha Kanchanapisek Anusorn (Wat Leng Nei Yi 2), Nonthaburi Province towards Thai society. This research is a qualitative research that studies information from documents and used field data collection methods using in-depth interviews. From related people of Wat Boromracha Kanchanaphisek Anusorn (Wat Leng Nei Yi 2), a total of 29 people, and the data were used for study and analysis. Presentation of research results in descriptive analysis. The research results found that Beliefs that appear inside Wat Boromracha Kanchanaphisek Anusorn (Wat Leng Nei Yi 2) There are 8 beliefs in total, including the Beliefs about curing bad years, Belief in increasing luck, Belief in good health, Belief in patronage, Beliefs about education, Belief in asking for love, Belief in making merit to dedicate to the deceased and Beliefs about amulets and talismans. These 8 beliefs consist of different wishes and blessings of believers. Important rituals during the year of Wat Boromracha Kanchanaphisek Anusorn (Wat Leng Nei Yi 2) In total there are 11 rituals, including: Worship ceremony to thank sacred things (Sia Sing), ceremony to pay homage to the god Chai Khing Aia, Chinese New Year Festival, Pakeng-Gong Ju Tian Festival, merit-making ceremony and dedication of merit, Qingming Festival, Songkran Festival, student novice ordination ceremony. Mahayana China, Maha almsgiving event, Vegetarian Festival and the day to worship and thank Shihu. These 11 rituals reflect the transmission of ideas and beliefs from different traditions. These beliefs and rituals affected to Thai society in four aspects, as the following. 1) Mental aspect, supporting and strengthening will power of living; promoting moral, ethics and unity of the community. 2) Social aspect, the making merit rituals of the temple have been supporting poor people and establishing a school for children in the community. 3) Economic aspect, the temple has been inducing donations and incomes to the community and its members, and also promoting Thai-Chinese tourism. 4) Cultural aspect, the temple has been conserving and spreading the Thai-Chinese beliefs.
