การวิจัยเรื่อง ภาพสะท้อนครอบครัวไทยในนวนิยายของภาพิมล มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาภาพสะท้อนครอบครัวไทย ปัญหาเเละแนวทางแก้ไขปัญหาครอบครัวไทยในนวนิยายของภาพิมล จำนวน 11 เรื่อง และนำเสนอผลการวิจัยแบบพรรณนาวิเคราะห์ ผลการวิจัยพบว่า ภาพสะท้อนครอบครัวไทยในนวนิยายของภาพิมล มีดังนี้ 1) ด้านสภาพความเป็นอยู่มีรูปแบบครอบครัวเดี่ยวและครอบครัวขยาย ที่อยู่อาศัยมีทั้งในเมือง ในชนบท และที่อยู่อาศัยในสถาบันทางสังคม อาชีพของครอบครัวเป็นเจ้าของธุรกิจ รับจ้าง งานอิสระ และข้าราชการ 2) ค่านิยมของครอบครัวมีค่านิยมในเรื่องความรักที่ยอมเสียสละและทุ่มเท ค่านิยมในการทำงานด้วยความรับผิดชอบและขยันหมั่นเพียร ค่านิยมด้านการศึกษาให้ความสำคัญและให้กำลังใจแก่ลูกหลาน 3) ด้านวัฒนธรรมให้การอบรมเลี้ยงดู ให้ความรักความอบอุ่น ปลูกฝังคุณธรรมด้านความกตัญญูและความมีน้ำใจให้แก่ลูกหลาน 4) ด้านความสัมพันธ์ของสมาชิกในครอบครัวระหว่างสามีกับภรรยา พ่อแม่กับลูก ญาติพี่น้อง และบุคคลในสังคมที่ให้ความเคารพนับถือ ความเข้าใจ และความอบอุ่นแก่กันภาพสะท้อนปัญหาครอบครัวไทย พบว่ามีดังนี้ 1) ความขัดแย้งระหว่างคู่สมรสนอกใจกัน ความคิดต่างกัน ไม่จริงใจกัน และใช้ความรุนแรง 2) ความขัดแย้งระหว่างพ่อเเม่กับลูกมีความคิดต่างกัน ไม่รับผิดชอบดูแล ความรุนแรง ไม่มีเวลาให้กัน ปฏิบัติไม่เท่าเทียมกัน การตั้งครรภ์ที่ ไม่พึงประสงค์ การติดเกม และพฤติกรรมรักร่วมเพศ 3) ความขัดแย้งระหว่างญาติพี่น้องมีความคิดเห็นแตกต่างกันและทะเลาะกัน 4) สุขภาพของสมาชิกในครอบครัวมีทั้งทางร่างกายและทางจิตใจ 5) อบายมุขมีทั้งการเล่นพนันและดื่มสุรา ส่วนแนวทางแก้ไขปัญหาครอบครัวไทย พบว่ามีดังนี้ 1) ระหว่างคู่สมรสใช้การประนีประนอม อดทน และการแยกทางกัน 2) ระหว่างพ่อแม่กับลูกใช้การสื่อสารเพื่อความเข้าใจ แสดงความรับผิดชอบ ให้อภัย และให้ความเชื่อมั่น 3) ระหว่างญาติพี่น้องใช้การหลีกเลี่ยงและพยายามทำความเข้าใจกัน 4) สุขภาพของสมาชิกในครอบครัวให้การดูแลรักษา และเตรียมอุปกรณ์ที่จำเป็นสำหรับผู้ป่วยไว้ที่บ้าน 5) อบายมุขใช้การตัดค่าใช้จ่ายและขอความช่วยเหลือจากสถาบันทางสังคม
This research aims to analyze reflections, problems and resolutions, of Thai family type in eleven novels of Phapimol, published during 2009 – 2023. Research findings are reported as a descriptive analysis. Five areas of Thai family type are found in the novels studied, as the following. 1) The living, both single and extended families living in the urban and the rural are presented; professions of the families include running businesses, employees, freelancers, and governmental officials. 2) Family values, sacrificing love; responsible and diligent working; and supporting children in education are reflected. 3) Children cultivation, parents or the seniors provide warm love; moral teachings emphasizing on gratitude; and generosity to children. 4) Relationships between family members, including husband and wives; parents and children; and relating to the public, all present respect, understanding, and warmness. For family problems, five aspects are observed, as the following. 1) Spouses, infidelity; different thoughts; insincerity and using violence are found. 2) Parents and children, gaps between generations; irresponsibility; violence; lacks of time sharing; unequal practices; unintended pregnancy; games addiction; and homosexual are found. 3) Relatives, conflicts and quarrels caused by different thoughts are found. 4) Physical and mental problems of family members are reflected. 5) Problems of gambling and alcohol addiction are shown. For resolutions responding to problems found, five aspects are recommended, including 1)spouses, practices of compromising; toleration; and separation are suggested. 2) Parents and children, application of understanding communication; showing responsibility; forgiveness; and trust are suggested. 3) Relatives, avoiding confrontation and showing understanding are suggested. 4) Health problems of family members, taking good care and sparing of required equipment are suggested. 5) Enticement problems, limitation of expenses and supports from social institutes are suggested.
