การสำรวจโปรแกรมประยุกต์บนโทรศัพท์มือถือที่เกี่ยวข้องกับยาสำหรับเภสัชกรและประชาชนทั่วไป

Abstract

ปัจจุบันโทรศัพท์มือถือได้มีการใช้กันอย่างแพร่หลายและมีคุณสมบัติใกล้เคียงคอมพิวเตอร์ พร้อมทั้งมีการพัฒนาโปรแกรมประยุกต์ (Applications, Apps) เพื่อใช้กับโทรศัพท์มือถือมากยิ่งขึ้น จึงต้องการสำรวจโปรแกรมประยุกต์ด้านยารักษาโรคสำหรับเภสัชกรและประชาชนทั่วไปจากข้อมูลในส่วน Application information เฉพาะภาษาอังกฤษและภาษาไทย ในระบบปฏิบัติการ iPhone OS และ Android OS ซึ่งเป็นการศึกษาเชิงสำรวจ ด้วยการสืบค้นโปรแกรมประยุกต์ด้วยคำว่า ยา, Drug Medicine, Medication, และ Pharmaceutical ได้ จำนวน 2,487 Apps และเมื่อคัดกรอง Apps ที่ไม่เกี่ยวข้องกับยารักษาโรค เช่น เกม ยาเสพติด สมุนไพร ส่งเสริมสุขภาพ และการออกกำลังกาย เป็นต้น ออกจำนวน 1,862 Apps คงเหลือโปรแกรมประยุกต์ที่เข้าเกณฑ์ยารักษาโรค จำนวน 625 Apps เป็นระบบปฏิบัติการ iPhoneOS และ Android OS จำนวน 491 Apps (ร้อยละ 78.6) และ 134 Apps (ร้อยละ 21.4) ตามลำดับ ซึ่งส่วนใหญ่เป็นภาษาอังกฤษ (ร้อยละ 98.9) และภาษาไทย (ร้อยละ 1.1) กลุ่มเป้าหมายของโปรแกรมประยุกต์ส่วนใหญ่เป็นประชาชน (ร้อยละ 51.7) สำหรับเภสัชกร (ร้อยละ 38.1) และทั้งสองกลุ่ม (ร้อยละ 10.2) และส่วนใหญ่เป็นโปรแกรมที่ให้ติดตั้งโดยไม่มีค่าใช้จ่าย (ร้อยละ 61.3) ในด้านการใช้งานโดยไม่ต้องเชื่อมต่อ wifi (ร้อยละ 24.8) ต้องเชื่อมต่อ wifi (ร้อยละ 2.4) และไม่มีการระบุการใช้ wifi (ร้อยละ 72.8) และเมื่อนำมาวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล พบว่า ประเภทของโปรแกรมประยุกต์ที่พบมากที่สุด คือ Pill reminder (ร้อยละ 44.5) รองลงมา คือ Drug monograph (ร้อยละ 18.1) นอกจากนี้ได้ทำการจัดลำดับ 10 โปรแกรมประยุกต์ที่ไม่เสียค่าใช้จ่ายในการติดตั้งและได้รับความนิยมมากที่สุด ทั้งในระบบปฏิบัติการ iPhone OS และระบบปฏิบัติการ Android OS สำหรับเภสัชกรและสำหรับประชาชนทั่วไป

Nowadays, Smart phone is popular and its property was developed to be similar to computer. Also its application software (Applications, Apps) were developed for mobile phone. The aim of this research is to survey application information in Thai and English of medicines Apps for pharmacists and general public on iPhone OS and Android OS mobile operating system. There are 2,487 Apps by searching for applications software with these terms "Ya (in Thai), Drug Medicine, Medication and Pharmaceuticals. After excluding, 1,862 Apps that are not related to medicines such as games, drug abuse, healthy herb and exercise etc, there are 625 Apps of medicines. There are 491 Apps (78.6%) and 134 Apps (21.4%) in iPhone OS and Android OS mobile operating system respectively. Majority of Apps are English Apps (98.9%) and remaining are Thai Apps (1.1%). Target group of Apps are general public (51.7%), pharmacists (38.1%) and both groups (10.2%). 61.3% are free of charge. These Apps are stand alone or no wifi connection (24.8%), wifi connection (2.4%) and unknown about wifi connection (72.8%). When ranking the functions of Apps from most to least, the most functions of Apps are Pill reminder (44.5%) and the second are Drug monograph (18.1%). In addition, there are top ten Apps that popular and free application both iPhone OS and Android OS system for pharmacists and general public.
