การศึกษาเปรียบเทียบวัฒนธรรมกีฬาพื้นบ้านชนวัวไทย-จีน : กรณีศึกษา สนามชนโคบ้านนาทราบ อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดนครศรีธรรมราช กับ สนามย่าไท่ อำเภอฉือหลิน มณฑลยูนนาน

Abstract

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อวิเคราะห์คุณค่าที่ปรากฏในวัฒนธรรมกีฬาพื้นบ้านชนวัวไททย-จีน ซึ่งเป็นการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ โดยใช้วิธีเก็บข้อมูลภาคสนามจากการสัมภาษณ์เจ้าของสนาม ผู้ที่มีส่วนเกี่ยวข้องในสนาม คนเลี้ยงวัวชน ผู้เข้าชม และเจ้าพนักงานภาครัฐ ของสนามชนโคบ้านนาทรายและสนามชนโคย่าไท่ โดยใช้วิธีการสุ่มตัวอย่างแบบเจาะจง (Purposive Sampling) และใช้กระบวนการสุ่มแบบง่าย (Simple Random Sampling) รวมทั้งสิ้นจำนวน 60 คน จากพื้นที่ทั้ง 2 สถานที่ และรวมทั้งสังเกตการณ์ ศึกษาเอกสาร และนำเสนอผลการวิจัยแบบพรรณนาวิเคราะห์ ผลการวิจัยพบว่า กีฬาพื้นบ้านชนวัวไทย-จีน เป็นกีฬาที่มีประวัติยาวนานและมีการเปลี่ยนแปลง คือ อดีตกีฬาชนิดนี้ ได้มีการแข่งขันเพื่อความสนุกสนานเท่านั้น แต่ต่อมาได้มีการเปลี่ยนแปลงเป็นการแข่งขันเพื่อวัตถุประสงค์ต่าง ๆ เช่น การแข่งขันเพื่อเงินรางวัล เป็นต้น ซึ่งจากการลงพื้นที่นั้น ผู้วิจัยได้เห็นคุณค่าความเหมือนและต่างกันระหว่างไทย-จีนในกีฬานี้ได้แก่ 1) ด้านเศรษฐกิจ กีฬาชนิดนี้ได้สร้างเศรษฐกิจให้กับชาวบ้านในชุมชน เพราะการนำวัวไปขังขันนั้นจะมีเงินรางวัลจำนวนมากรวมทั้งสร้างรายได้ให้กับชาวบ้านบริเวณโดยรอบที่เปิดร้านขายของด้วย 2) ด้านสังคม กีฬาพื้นบ้านชนวัวต้องมีการพบปะกับผู้คนทั้งภายในและภายนอกชุมชน เพราะการแข่งขันกีฬาชนิดนี้จะต้องมีการปฏิสัมพันธ์กับผู้อื่น เช่น เจ้าของวัว จะมีการแลกเปลี่ยนประสบการณ์ของตนกับผู้เข้าชมคนอื่น ๆ และส่งเสียงให้กับวัวชนที่ตัวเองสนับสนุนและยังสามารถได้มีเพื่อนใหม่ที่มีความชอบที่เหมือนกัน จึงถือเป็นการสร้างความสัมพันธ์ให้เกิดขึ้นภายในและภายนอกชุมชน 3) ด้านความบันเทิง พบว่า กีฬาชนิดนี้ช่วยผ่อนคลายความเครียดจากการทำงาน เพราะขณะที่มีการแข่งขันจะมีการพูดคุยและส่งเสียงร้องอย่างสนุกสนาน นอกจากนี้ ผู้วิจัยได้พบข้อมูลที่เกี่ยวกับความเชื่อถือ มีการกราบไหว้สิ่งศักดิ์สิทธิ์เพื่อให้ตนเองมีโชคลาภจากการเสี่ยงทายด้วย สิ่งที่เหมือนกันก็คือ เจ้าของวัวทั้งไทยและจีนมีความเชื่อว่าการกราบไหว้สิ่งศักดิ์สิทธิ์ จะทำให้ตัวเองโชคดี สิ่งที่ไม่เหมือนก็คือ รูปแบบพิธีกรรมจะมีความแตกต่างกัน และกีฬาพื้นบ้านชนวัวยังเป็นกีฬาที่มีการสืบทอดมาตั้งแต่บรรพบุรุษมาสู่ลูกหลานในปัจจุบัน ถือเป็นกีฬาที่มีเอกลักษณ์ที่โดดเด่นอย่างมาก อย่างไรก็ตาม ในปัจจุบันกีฬาชนวัวมีความนิยมที่ลดน้อยลงและยังไม่เป็นที่รู้จักของนักท่องเที่ยมากนัก ดังนั้น ผู้คนในชุมชนรวมถึงภาครัฐควรมีการส่งเสิรมให้เป็นแหล่งท่องเที่ยว และช่วยกันสืบทอดให้กีฬาชนิดนี้ได้คงอยู่ต่อไปในอนาคต

The objective of this research is analyzing valuable perception in the cultural sports of bullfighting. The research made by using the qualitative method. The researcher interviewed Field’s owner, Field staff, Bullfighting owner, participant and government officer in BAAN SAI Baan Na Sai and Ya Tai Venue by using in-depth interview method. The sampling method is the Purposive Sampling and Simple random sampling. There are 60 places is the sampled. The results presented in the descriptive method. The research shows that the cultural sports of bullfighting have a long history. Anyhow, there are some changed. In the past, the objective of this sport is for the amusement, when the time pass, the objective of sports has been changed from only amusement to be the competition. From the field research, the researcher found the the value of this sports from Thai and China as follows; 1) Economic, these sports make the circular economy in the society because the bullfighting competition has the money as the rewards. Moreover, there are man roadside shops which will make the circular money in the society, 2) Socialism, the bullfighting sports make the relationship between internal and external people of the society. 3) Entertainment, the researcher found that during the competition, the participant will cheer, talk and loudly shout that make the amusement for the participants. Moreover, the researcher found the faith in this sport, the bullfighter owner prays to the spirits that was respected to make me lucky when drawing. The bullfighter sport is the prolong from the ancient to present because of the identity of this sport. Anyhow, in present, the popularity of bullfighting sport is decreasing and not be famous for the tourist. Then, the society and government should promote the bullfighting to be the tourism site and inherit this sport for the future.
