ภาพสะท้อนสังคมไทยในวรรณกรรมของ งามพรรณ เวชชาชีวะ

Abstract

งานวิจัยเรื่องนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อวิเคราะห์ภาพสะท้อนสังคมไทยในวรรณกรรมของงามพรรณ เวชชาชีวะ และเพื่อวิเคราะห์อิทธิพลในวรรณกรรมของ งามพรรณ เวชชาชีวะ ที่มีต่อผู้อ่านใช้วิธีวิจัยเอกสาร โดยศึกษาวิเคราะห์วรรณกรรมของ งามพรรณ เวชชาชีวะ จำนวน 11 เล่ม และนำเสนอผลการศึกษาแบบพรรณนาวิเคราะห์ ผลการวิจัยพบว่า วรรณกรรมของงามพรรณ เวชชาชีวะ สะท้อนภาพสังคมไทยในด้านต่างๆ ได้แก่ 1) ด้านชีวิตความเป็นอยู่ คนไทยอาศัยในชนบท นิยมสร้างบ้านเรือนที่กลมกลืนกับธรรมชาติ คนไทยอาศัยอยู่ในเมืองหลวง นิยมแต่งบ้านเรือนโดยใช้สิ่งในธรรมชาติ และประกอบอาชีพที่หลากหลาย 2) ด้านวัฒนธรรมไทย คนไทยมีรับประทานทั้งอาหารคาวและอาหารหวาน ด้านมารยาท คนไทยมีการไหว้และพูดจาสุภาพ นอกจากนี้ มีการผสมผสานและรับวัฒนธรรมของจีน คือ การตั้งศาลเจ้าและการไหว้เจ้า 3) ด้านความเชื่อ ความเชื่อดั้งเดิม และความเชื่อเกี่ยวกับศาสนา 4) ด้านครอบครัวไทยมีผู้ชายเป็นผู้นำครอบครัวและนิยมมีลูกมากกว่าหนึ่งคน สมาชิกในครอบครัวมีความรักและผูกพันต่อกัน แต่หากสมาชิในครอบครัวมีความคิดที่แตกต่างกันก็อาจเกิดปัญหาในครอบครัวได้ 5) ด้านค่านิยม คนไทยมีค่านิยมด้านการส่งเสริมให้ลูกหลานรักการเรียน และค่านิยมความประหยัดเป็นสิ่งที่ได้รับการปลูกฝังจากผู้ใหญ่ในครอบครัว 6) ด้านปัญหาสังคมไทย มีปัญหาครอบครัว ปัญหาการพนัน ปัญหายาเสพติด ปัญหาความไม่ยุติธรรมในสังคม และปัญหาละเลยหน้าที่ ด้านอิทธิพลในวรรณกรรมของ งามพรรณ เวชชาชีวะ ที่มีต่อผู้อ่าน พบว่า ผู้เขียนได้ปลูกฝังคุณธรรมจริยธรรมแก่ผู้อ่านในด้านคุณธรรมความกตัญญูกตเวที ความซื่อสัตย์สุจริต ความขยันหมั่นเพียร ความเมตตา ความรับผิดชอบ ความเสียสละ และความเอื้อเฟื้อ มีการกระตุ้น ให้ผู้อ่านมีความเข้มแข็งและอดทนเพื่อต่อสู้กับโชคชะตาชีวิต สั่งสอนให้รักธรรมชาติ เช่น ต้นไม้ สัตว์ และสิ่งแวดล้อมทางธรรมชาติ นอกจากนี้แล้ว ผู้เขียนยังเตือนให้ผู้อ่านห่างไกลจากยาเสพติดและสิ่งที่ผิดกฎหมาย

This research aims to analyze the Thai Soical Reflection from 11 stories of Ngampun Vejjajiva's literature and their influence on readers. The findings are presented as descriptive analysis. The study shows that literature of Ngampun Vejjajiva reflect the social aspect as follow: 1) ways of life; people live in both countries and cities, building the houses close to nature, and earning their living by doing diverse career, 2) Thai cultures; Thai people consume a wide range of savory and sweet dishes, have proper manners; paying respect by wai and speak politely, and integrate Chinese culture in worshipping god with different kinds of food, 3) belief; Thai peopel have traditional belief in what thet don't know and what they are fear of, inclyding belief religion and they follow its teachings really well, 4) families; Thai men pay the roles as the family leaders, tend to have many children, and family members love and bind to each other, but different ideas may occasionally cause conflict among members, 5) values; promoting the children to love learning and economizing have been cultivated by the adults, 6) social problems; Thai social problems including; family issues, gambling, drug problems, patronage system, and neglect of duty. The influence of Ngampun Vejjajiva's literature has instilled the readers with ethics which make readers realize the viirtue of gratitude, honesty, perseverance, responsibility, sacrifice, and generosity. The readers have been encouraged to have the strength and endurance to fight for their life. The readers have also been taught to love nature; trees, animals and another natural environment. In addition, the authors also persuage them to be way from drugs or anything illegal.
