วัฒนธรรมการแต่งกายแบบไทยย้อนยุคในสังคมปัจจุบัน

Abstract

การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาวัฒนธรรมการแต่งกายแบบไทยย้อนยุคในสังปัจจุบัน และเพื่อวิเคราะห์แนวคิดเกี่ยวกับการแต่งกายแบบไทยย้อนยุคในสังคมปัจจุบัน โดยใช้แบบสอบถามและการสัมภาษณ์เป็นเครื่องมือในการเก็บข้อมูล คัดเลือกกลุ่มตัวอย่างแบบเฉพาะเจาะจงจากผู้ที่เกี่ยวข้องกับชุดไทย ซึ่งมีความรู้ ความเข้าใจเรื่องชุดไทย จำนวน 43 คน และนำเสนอผลการวิจัยด้วยวิธีการพรรณนาวิเคราะห์ ผลการวิจัยพบว่า วัฒนธรรมการแต่งกายแบบไทยย้อนยุคในสังคมปัจจุบันมีการเปลี่ยนแปลงคือ 1) รูปแบบชุดไทยในสังคมปัจจุบันมีทั้งแบบดั้งเดิม และแบบประยุกต์ที่ได้ผสมผสานกับความคิดของช่างตัดเสื้อและความต้องการของผู้บริโภค 2) เนื้อผ้าของชุดไทยมีหลากหลายประเภท สามารถสะท้อนถึงภูมิปัญญาการทอผ้าไทยจากบรรพบุรุษและแต่ละท้องถิ่น สีชุดไทยก็มีการพัฒนามากขึ้นสอดคล้องกับลวดลายบนผืนผ้า 3) ลวดลายบนผืนผ้าไทยมีลักษณะแตกต่างกันไปตามแต่ละท้องถิ่น ปัจจุบันได้รับสืบสานอนุรักษ์เป็นอย่างดี และมีการประยุกต์ให้ทันสมัยมากขึ้น 4) คนไทยปัจจุบัน นอกจากแต่งชุดไทยในงานเทศกาลไทย งานมงคล วันสำคัญแล้ว ยังแต่งชุดไทยในการทำงานและชีวิตประจำวัน อีกทั้งรวมถึงแต่งชุดไทยในสถานที่ท่องเที่ยว ชุดไทยมีความสวยงามและความเรียบร้อย ชุดไทยแสดงถึงเอกลักษณ์ความเป็นไทยทำให้คนทไยในปัจจุบันเลือกแต่งชุดไทยมากขึ้น คนไทยให้ความสำคัญกับการแต่งชุดไทยโดยมีแนวคิดกับการแต่งกายแบบไทยย้อนยุคในด้านรูปแบบการแต่งกาย คือ นิยมแต่งชุดไทยจิตรลดาและชุดไทยประยุตก์ ซึ่งทำจากผ้าไหม หรือผ้าฝ้าย สีขึ้นอยู่กับลักษณะของงานและแนวคิดในการจัดงาน ส่วนลวดลายจะเลือกตามความชอบส่วนตัวด้วยความงดงามและความเรียบร้อยของชุดไทย คนไทยจึงเลือกแต่งกายด้วยชุดไทยในงานพระราชพิธีโอกาสสำคัญต่างๆ และในการทำงาน แม้กระทั่งในชีวิตประจำวัน ดังนี้ ความทันสมัย ลักษณะของเนื้อผ้าที่พัฒนาขึ้น และความสะดวกสบายต่อการสวมใส่เป็นปัจจัยสำคัญที่มีอิทธิพลต่อผู้สวมใส่ในการเลือกชุดไทยในปัจจุบัน และที่สำคัญ วัฒนธรรมการแต่งแบบไทยย้อนยุคได้ซึมซับเข้าไปในวิถีชีวิตของคนไทย และได้สืบสาน อนุรักษ์ไว้อย่างดี

This research aimed to study Thai retro dressing culture in the present society in order to analyze ideas about the retro dressing. Data was collected by questionnaires and interviews. Forty-three informants were specifically selected from related persons of Thao ratro dressing. Research findings were reported as a descriptive analysis. The research found four changes to Thai retro dressing, including 1) styles of the suit, both traditional and applied, were various and subjected to both designers and consumers. 2) The cloth, colors and patterns were broadly created, showing local wisdom of different regions. 3) Local pattern were more modern redesined and adapted. And 4) contemporary Thai more frequently wore Thai retro dressing for any occasions, like festivals; ceremoniesl working day; dialy life; or travelling. The beauty and uniqueness of Thai retro suits were main factors making nowasdays people preferred the retro dressing. Regarding ideas about Thai retro dressing, it was found that two types of Thai suit, Chitralada and modern Thai dress, either made from silk or cotton were the most dressed styles. Colors chosen and patterns of the cloth were subjected to the theme of events and personal preference. Beacuase of the charm and neatness of Thai retro suits, Thai people then preference Thai retro dressing in special occasions, like royal ceremonies, or even working days and daily dressing. The developed cloth and style retro dressing, applicabel to the modern lifestyle, were main factors promoting the dressing at present. Moreover, Thai retro dressing was blended with Thai modern ways of life; this was the best of conservation and practice.
