กระบวนการนำนิทานมาสร้างแบบฝึกพัฒนาทักษะการอ่านจับใจความและการเขียนสรุปความสำหรับนักศึกษาชาวจีนมหาวิทยาลัยหัวเฉียวเฉลิมพระเกียรติ

Abstract

บทความวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อรายงานผลการวิจัยในด้านกระบวนการนำนิทานมาสร้างแบบฝึกพัฒนาทักษะการอ่านจับใจความและการเขียนสรุปความ สำหรับนักศึกษาชาวจีนมหาวิทยาลัยหัวเฉียวเฉลิมพระเกียรติ เนื่องจากนักศึกษาชาวจีนเป็นนักศึกษาชาวต่างชาติที่ศึกษาภาษาไทยเป็นภาษาที่สอง ดังนั้น การฝึกทักษะการอ่านจับใจความและการเขียนสรุปความเป็นสิ่งจำเป็นโดยเฉพาะสำหรับการเรียนภาษาไทยในระดับเริ่มต้นเพื่อเป็นพื้นฐานสำคัญในการพัฒนาความรู้ต่าง ๆ ต่อไปในอนาคต แต่การจะสอนทักษะการสื่อสารให้ประสบความสำเร็จ นักศึกษาควรมีความรัก ความสนุกสนานในการเรียนไม่เบื่อและเกลียดการอ่าน อาจารย์ผู้สอนจึงต้องหาวัสดุการอ่านที่น่าสนใจและเหมาะสมกับความสนใจของนักศึกษา นิทานจึงเป็นวัสุการอ่านที่อาจารย์นำมาใช้พัฒนาคุณภาพทางภาษาแก่นักศึกษาชาวจีนให้ดีขึ้น ผลการวิจัยพบว่า กระบวนการนำนิทานมาสร้างแบบฝึกพัฒนาทักษะการอ่านจับใจความและการเขียนสรุปความ มีดังนี้ 1) การคัดเลือกนิทานหลากหลายประเภท เช่น นิทานอธิบายเหตุ นิทานคติสอนใจ นิทานอีสป นิทานพื้นบ้านของภาคต่างๆ ในประเทศไทย ฯลฯ 2) การนำนิทานเหล่านั้นมาเรียบเรียบงใหม่โดยแก้ไขคำที่เข้าใจความหมายยากให้ง่ายขึ้น เพื่อให้นิทานนั้น เหมาะสำหรับชาวจีนที่เริ่มเรียนภาษาไทย 3) การนำนิทานมาสร้างแบบฝึกทักษะด้านการอ่านจับใจความและการเขียนสรุปความโดยเน้นทักษะการคิดวิเคราะห์ร่วมด้วย 4) จัดทำคู่มือการใช้แบบฝึกพัฒนาทักษะการอ่านจับใจความและการเขียนสรุปความ สำหรับนักศึกษาชาวจีนมหาวิทยาลัยหัวเฉียวเฉลิมพระเกียรติ เมื่อสร้างแบบฝึกหัดแล้วได้นำแบบฝึกไปพัฒนาทักษะการอ่านจับใจความและเขียนสรุปความ ให้นักศึกษาชาวจีนมหาวิทยาลัยหัวเฉียวเฉลิมพระเกียรติ พบว่าหลังใช้แบบฝึกนักศึกษามีผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนที่สูงขึ้น (ก่อนเรียน ร้อยละ 32.86 หลังเรียน ร้อยละ 87.76) ซึ่งแสดงให้เห็นว่านักศึกษามีทักษะการอ่านจับใจความและเขียนสรุปความที่มีประสิทธิภาพขึ้น

The purpose of this research is to look for using fairy tale reading materials to develop reading comprehension and summary writing skills, for Chinese Students at Huachiew Chalermprakiet University (HCU). Since they are international students who study Thai as a second language, practicing reading for comprehension and summary writing skills are essential, especially for the beginners. The skills can be used as the basis for providing other skills of seeking knowledge in the future. However, to succeed in teaching communication skills, students should love and have fun in learning, do not get bored and tired of reading. Lecturers have to select and design interesting and appropriate reading materials which suit the students’ interests. Consequently, tales were the reading materials which the lecturers used to improve the reading skills of Chinese students reading skills. The results showed that the selecting fairy tales approach to create and develop reading comprehension and summary writing sills are as follows: 1) the selection of fairy tales from a number of categories; Thai folks, parable tales, Aesop fables, folklore of different parts in Thailand, etc. 2) those tales then were simplified to the beginning level 3) questions created from fairy tales to develop their reading comprehension, and writing summaries, focusing on critical thinking skills 4) creating exercises, and used those exercises as materials to develop reading comprehension and summary writing. After using the materials, the students had higher academic achievement level which showed that they gained higher skills in reading comprehension and summary writing effectively.
