Abstract

การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อวิเคราะห์ภาพสะท้อนครอบครัวชาวจีนและเพื่อวิเคราะห์บทบาทหน้าที่ของผู้ชายและผู้หญิงในครอบครัวชาวจีนในนวนิยายของเพิร์ล เอส. บั๊ค แปลโดย สันตสิริ จำนวน 6 เล่ม ผลการศึกษาพบว่า นวนิยายของเพิร์ล เอส. บั๊ค แปลโดย สันติสิริ ได้สะท้อนภาพครอบครัวชาวจีนในด้านวิถีชีวิต ด้านวัฒนธรรม และด้านคุณธรรมอย่างชัดเจน ครอบครัวชาวจีนมีวิถีชีวิตของตนที่พิเศษกว่าชนชาติอื่นๆ ส่วนวัฒนธรรมต่างๆ ที่เป็นของครอบครัวชาวจีน ล้วนทำให้ชีวิตครอบครัวชาวจีนมีลักษณะที่แตกต่างกับครอบครัวชนชาติอื่นๆ ครอบครัวชาวจีนให้ความสำคัญกับคุณธรรมเป็นอย่างมาก พวกเขาเชื่อว่า คุณธรรมที่ดีงามจะช่วยสั่งสอนให้ลูกหลานทำความดี ซึ่งจะส่งผลที่ดีในการดำเนินชีวิตของตนรวมไปถึงความคิด การพูดจา พฤติกรรม ฯลฯ ที่สมาชิกในครอบครัวมีต่อกัน การมีคุณธรรมที่ดีจะช่วยครอบครัวชาวจีนดำเนินชีวิตของตนอย่างมีความสุขและเป็นระบบ เป็นสิ่งที่งดงาม และจะช่วยให้ทุกคนไม่มีความผิดพลาด นอกจากนั้น ผลการศึกษายังพบว่า นวนิยายของเพิร์ล เอส. บั๊ค แปลโดย สันตสิริ ได้แสดงให้เห็นถึงบทบาทหน้าที่ที่แตกต่างกันของผู้ชายและผู้หญิงในครอบครัวชาวจีน ถึงแม้ว่าจะอยู่ในฐานะที่ไม่เหมือนกัน แต่ทั้งผู้ชายและผู้หญิงได้ช่วยทำให้ครอบครัวตนเจริญรุ่งเรือง ให้สมาชิกทุกคนในครอบครัวอยู่ด้วยกันอย่างมีความสุขมาก

This research aims to analyze the reflections of the Chinese families and the role of gender differences within the Chinese family in the novels of Pearl S. Buck, translated-version by Santasiri by using the descriptive analysis of 6 novles written by Pearl S. Buck, translated-version by Santasiri. Studies show that the novel of Peral S. Buck translated-version by Santasiri has clearly reflected the Chinese families in the way of life, cultural and moral aspects. Chinese families have their own special way of living than other people. The different cultures of the Chinese families have unique tastes and different characters than any other families. A good moral is a good thing and it helps to teach Chinese children do good deeds and neatness in order to conduct their life including thinking, speaking and behavior to all the members of their family. Having a good moral helps the Chinese families in their way of living happy lives. It is magnificent and it will help people away from mistakes. The studies also show that the novel of Pearl S. Buck translated-version by Santasiri has clearly showed the role of gender differences within the Chinese family. Even though the man and the woman play different roles, both contribute for the family's increase in all aspects.
