การวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงสำรวจแบบภาคตัดขวาง มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาพฤติกรรมส่งเสริมสุขภาพของนักศึกษาวิทยาศาสตร์สุขภาพ มหาวิทยาลัยหัวเฉียวเฉลิมพระเกียรติ ในด้านอนามัยส่วนบุคคล การบริโภคอาหาร การออกกำลังกายและการตรวจสุขภาพประจำปี การอนุรักษ์ฟื้นฟูสภาพแวดล้อม สุขภาพจิต ความปลอดภัย การเสริมสร้างความสัมพันธ์ในครอบครัวให้อบอุ่น และการหลีกเลี่ยงพฤติกรรมเสี่ยงต่อสุขภาพ รวมทั้งศึกษาลักษณะส่วนบุคคล ลักษณะทางการศึกษา และลักษณะทางสิ่งแวดล้อม ที่มีผลต่อพฤติกรรมส่งเสริมสุขภาพ กลุ่มตัวอย่างได้มาจากการสุ่มตัวอย่างแบบแบ่งชั้น จำแนกตามสาขาวิชา ชั้นปี เพศ และสุ่มอย่างมีระบบตามชั้นอีกครั้ง ได้จำนวนตัวอย่าง 379 คน เก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลโดยใช้แบบสอบถามที่ผู้วิจัยสร้างขึ้น วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้ความถี่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ค่าเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน การทดสอบที และการวิเคราะห์ความแปรปรวนทางเดียว ผลจากการวิจัย พบว่าพฤติกรรมส่งเสริมสุขภาพของนักศึกษาวิทยาศาสตร์สุขภาพ มหาวิทยาลัยหัวเฉียวเฉลิมพระเกียรติ โดยรวมอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง ในรายด้านพบว่าด้านอนามัยส่วนบุคคล สุขภาพจิต การเสริมสร้างความสัมพันธ์ในครอบครัวให้อบอุ่น และการหลีกเลี่ยงพฤติกรรมเสี่ยงต่อสุขภาพ อยู่ในระดับมาก ด้านการบริโภคอาหาร การอนุรักษ์ฟื้นฟูสภาพแวดล้อม และความปลอดภัย อยู่ในระดับปานกลาง ส่วนด้านการออกกำลังกายและการตรวจสุขภาพประจำปี อยู่ในระดับน้อย ลักษณะส่วนบุคคล การศึกษา และสิ่งแวดล้อมที่มีผลต่อพฤติกรรมส่งเสริมสุขภาพ พบว่าพฤติกรรมส่งเสริมสุขภาพของนักศึกษามีความแตกต่างอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ (p-value<0.05) กับ การได้รับการเรียนการสอนด้านการส่งเสริมสุขภาพ, ลักษณะที่พักอาศัยที่สัมพันธ์กับสุขภาพ, การได้รับคำแนะนำและสนับสนุนเกี่ยวกับการส่งเสริมสุขภาพจากสมาชิกในครอบครัว และเพื่อน, การได้รับข้อมูลข่าวสารเกี่ยวกับการส่งเสริมสุขภาพจาก วิทยุ หนังสือพิมพ์ นิตยสาร และ อินเทอร์เนต, รวมทั้งการมีแบบอย่างด้านการส่งเสริมสุขภาพจากสมาชิกในครอบครัว ผลการวิจัยครั้งนี้มีข้อเสนอแนะว่าควรจัดโครงการส่งเสริมสุขภาพในมหาวิทยาลัยหัวเฉียวเฉลิมพระเกียรติ โดยมีกิจกรรมครอบคลุมด้านการบริโภคอาหาร การอนุรักษ์ฟื้นฟูสภาพแวดล้อม ความปลอดภัย การออกกำลังกายและการตรวจสุขภาพประจำปี รวมทั้งขอความร่วมมือจากครอบครัวในการสนับสนุนโครงการส่งเสริมสุขภาพในมหาวิทยาลัย
The cross sectional survey was designed to study health promoting behaviors among students of Health Science Programme, Huachiew Chalermprakiet University. These included personal hygiene, dietary behaviors, physical activity and annual health check up, promoting of healthy environment, promoting of good family relationship, mental health, personal safety, and avoiding of risk behaviors. The personal, educational, and environmental factors affecting health promoting behaviors were also assessed. Three hundred and seventy nine students were randomly selected through stratified random sampling technique, according to their major subjects, level and sex. Data were collected by questionnaires developsed by the researcher and analyzed by using the following statistics : frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test and oneway ANOVA. Results revealed that the health promoting behaviors among students were in a medium level. It was found that personal hygiene, mental health, promoting of good relationship in family and avoiding of risk behaviors were in a high level and that the dietary behaviors, promoting of healthy environment and personal safety were in a medium level. However, physical activity and annual health check up were in a low level. Regarding health promoting behaviors of students, it was found the following factors had significant (p-value<0.05) effects on their behaviors. These are attending of health promoting courses, resident and health environments, health promoting support from family and friends, obtaining of health promoting information from radio, Newspapers, magazine and internet, as well as good health promoting family model. From the research findings it was recommended that a health promotion program should be organized in the Huachiew Chalermprakiet University with the following activities : dietary behaviors, promoting of healthy environment, personal safety, physical activity and annual health check up, including family involvement for health promotion.
