ภาพสะท้อนสังคมชนบทไทยในนวนิยายของโชติ ศรีสุวรรณ

Abstract

งานวิจัยเรื่องนี้ มีจุดหมายเพื่อวิเคราะห์ภาพสะท้อนสังคมชนบทไทยในนวนิยายของโชติ ศรีสุวรรณ และวิเคราะห์อิทธิพลของนวนิยายของโชติ ศรีสุวรรณ ที่มีต่อผู้อ่านโดยวิเคราะห์นวนิยายของโชติ ศรีสุวรรณ ที่มีเนื้อหาเรื่องราวเกี่ยวกับฉากและเหตุการณ์ที่เกิดขึ้นในชนบท จำนวน 7 เรื่อง ได้แก่ ความภูมิใจของลอย ไหมน้อย น้ำหาบเดียว ป่าไหวชายทุ่ง พระจันทร์ทรงกลด ม้อนน้อยที่รัก ดอกไม้บานที่เชิงภู ผลการวิจัยพบว่า ภาพสะท้อนสังคมชนบทไทยในนวนิยายของโชติ ศรีสุวรรณ ได้แสดงให้เห็นสังคมชนบทไทย 6 ด้าน ได้แก่ 1) ที่อยู่อาศัยของคนในสังคมชนบทไทยตั้งอยู่ใกล้ชิดธรรมชาติ ส่วนใหญ่มีอาชีพเกษตรกร ครู ตำรวจ ทหาร พราน และค้าขาย 2) ด้านการศึกษานั้น เนื่องจากความไม่เจริญ อยู่ห่างไกลจากเมือง และครอบครัวลำบากยากจน การศึกษาที่สังคมชนบทไทยจึงอยู่ในระดับต่ำ และขาดโอกาสทางการศึกษา 3) ด้านเศรษฐกิจ คนในสังคมชนบทไทย ทำไร่ ทำนา ซึ่งได้ผลผลิตค่อนข้างน้อย ซึ่งเผชิญกับความยากจนและภาวะหนี้สิน 4) ภาพสะท้อนด้านวัฒนธรรม พบว่า คนในสังคมชนบทไทยยังดำรงรักษาค่านิยม ขนบธรรมเนียบประเพณี และความเชื่อแบบดั้งเดิมของไทย 5) ด้านความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างคนในชนบทไทย สะท้อนภาพความสัมพันธ์ที่อบอุ่นและบริสุทธิ์ของคนชนบท 6) ด้านลักษณะนิสับ คนในชนบทไทยเป็นคนที่ขยัน ประหยัด มีน้ำใจและเป็นมิตรกับผู้อื่น ผลการวิจัยด้านอิทธิพลของนวนิยายของโชติ ศรีสุวรรณ ที่มีต่อผู้อ่าน พบว่า มีอิทธิพล 5 ด้าน ได้แก่ 1) กระตุ้นจิตสำนึกของมนุษย์ให้รักธรรมชาติและหวงแหนธรรมชาติเพื่อคนรุ่นนี้และคนรุ่นถัดไปได้ใช้ทรัพยากรธรรมชาติตลอดไป 2) เรียกร้องให้มนุษย์รู้จักความสำคัญของการศึกษาเพื่อที่เป็นผลประโยชน์ทั้งส่วนตัวและส่วนรวมให้กับสังคมชนบทก้าวหน้า 3) ส่งเสริมความเข้าใจอันดีของสมาชิกในสถาบันครอบครัว ทำให้สมาชิกในครอบครัวดำเนินชีวิตได้อย่างมีความสุข 4)ปลูกฝังคุณธรรม จริยธรรม เพื่อให้มนุษย์เรามีจิตใจดีงาม สังคมสงบสุขและมั่นคง 5) ให้แง่คิดเกี่ยวกับศาสนา คือ การทำดีได้ดี ทำชั่วได้ชั่ว

This research has the purpose to analyze Thai rural society in Chot Sirsuwan's novels and analyze the influence of Chot Srisuwan's novels toward reader. The researcher analyzes 7 novels of Chot Srisuwan which consist of content and scene in rural areas as "Kwam Phoomjai Khong Loy", "Mai Noi", "Mai Hab Dieaw", "Pa Wai Chai Thung", "Phra Chan Song Klod", "Mon Nou Thi Rak" and "Dokmai Ban Thi Cheng Phu". The research finds that Chot Srisuwan's novels reflect Thai rural society in 6 aspects as followings: 1) housing; people in rural society stat close to nature. Most of them work as farmers, teachers, policemen, soldiers, hunters and merchants. 2) Education; due to uncivilization, its location which is far from city and poverty, the education of Thai rural society is in lower level. Children are lack of education opportunity. 3) Economy; people in Thai rural society do farming with fewer products. They face to poverty, difficulty and debt. 4) Culture; people in Thai rural society maintains traditional Thai value, tradition and belief. 5) Relationship between people in Thai Rural socirty; it reflects the warm and pure relationship of people in rural areas 6) Behavior of people in Thai rural society; they are diligent, patient, generous and friendly to others. With regards to the influence of Chot Srisuwan's Novels toward readers, the research finds 5 aspects of their influence as follows; 1) motivating human's conscious to love and keep their nature for their successors in order to have the natural resources forever 2) calling the awareness of education's importance which is beneficial for both privacy and public and make the community developed 3) supporting the good understanding among family members and encouraging family members live happily 4) cultivate the good moral in order that people have the good mind and society is peacefull and stable 5) religious ideas, they present "Karma": doing good, getting good in returen but if doing bad, will get bad return.
