การเปลี่ยนแปลงของวัฒนธรรมการแต่งกายพื้นเมืองล้านนา กรณีศึกษา อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดเชียงใหม่

Abstract

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อวิเคราะห์การเปลี่ยนแปลงของวัฒนธรรมการแต่งกายพื้นเมืองล้านนา โดยมุ่งศึกษากรณีในเขตอำเภอเมือง จังหวัดเชียงใหม่ ซึ่งเป็นพื้นที่ที่ยังคงมีการสืบทอดการแต่งกายพื้นเมืองอย่างต่อเนื่องควบคู่กับการปรับตัวให้สอดคล้องกับบริบททางสังคม เศรษฐกิจ และวัฒนธรรมในปัจจุบัน การวิจัยใช้ระเบียบวิธีวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ โดยเก็บข้อมูลจากการสังเกตแบบไม่มีส่วนร่วมและการสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึกกับกลุ่มตัวอย่างที่เกี่ยวข้องกับการ แต่งกายพื้นเมืองล้านนา ได้แก่ ผู้เชี่ยวชาญ นักวิชาการ ประชาชนทั่วไปที่ยังสวมใส่เสื้อผ้าพื้นเมือง คนรุ่นใหม่ที่ ประยุกต์ใช้แฟชั่นล้านนา และผู้ผลิตหรือช่างฝีมือในท้องถิ่น ผลการวิจัยพบว่า การแต่งกายพื้นเมืองล้านนาได้มีการ เปลี่ยนแปลงในด้านรูปแบบ ลวดลาย วัสดุ เทคนิคการผลิต และกลุ่มผู้สวมใส่ โดยมีปัจจัยสำคัญที่ส่งผลต่อการ เปลี่ยนแปลง ได้แก่ ด้านเศรษฐกิจและการท่องเที่ยว เทคโนโลยีและสื่อสมัยใหม่ ค่านิยมของคนรุ่นใหม่ และนโยบาย ของรัฐ การเปลี่ยนแปลงเหล่านี้ส่งผลทั้งในแง่บวกและลบต่ออัตลักษณ์ทางวัฒนธรรม การถ่ายทอดภูมิปัญญาท้องถิ่น และเศรษฐกิจของผู้ประกอบการในชุมชน ควรมีการส่งเสริมการอนุรักษ์วัฒนธรรมการแต่งกายพื้นเมืองควบคู่ไปกับ การพัฒนาและปรับตัวให้สอดคล้องกับยุคสมัย เพื่อให้สามารถดำรงอยู่ได้อย่างยั่งยืนในสังคมปัจจุบัน

This research aims to analyze the characteristics and factors contributing to the transformation of traditional Lanna clothing culture, focusing on the case study in Mueang District, Chiang Mai Province. This area continues to preserve traditional attire while simultaneously adapting to contemporary social, economic, and cultural contexts. A qualitative research methodology was employed, Non-participant Observation and in-depth interviews with various stakeholders related to Lanna clothing. These include experts, academics, members of the general public who still wear traditional clothing, young people who incorporate Lanna fashion into modern styles, and local producers or artisans. The findings reveal that traditional Lanna clothing has undergone changes in terms of style, patterns, materials, production techniques, and target wearers. Key factors influencing these changes include economic and tourism development, modern technology and media, the values of younger generations, and government policies. These transformations have had both positive and negative impacts on cultural identity, the transmission of local wisdom, and the economic well-being of community entrepreneurs. There is a need to promote the conservation of traditional clothing culture alongside development and adaptation efforts to ensure its sustainable existence in modern society.
