The research "Reflection and writing technique of literary work Cantonese-Thais by Yuwadee Tongsakulrungruang" has the purpose to analyze the reflection of Cantonese-Thais and writing technique in the literary works of Yuwadee Tongsakulrungruang. The research reveals that Yuwadee Tongsakulrungruang presents the various reflections of Cantonese-Thais. Firstly, about family, Cantonese-Thais people prefer staying to big family because they believe that they help together in working and earning their life. Next, for the moral, Cantonese-Thais are good and honest toward society. Moreover, they are grateful, diligent and patient. They are trying to rely on themselves and economize. A part of food, food of Cantonese-Thais becomes one of cultures which appear in Cantonese-Thais society. For society, Cantonese-Thais immigrated to Thailand for working and earning their life and spread out over the rivers and harbors around Thailand. Cantonese-Thais are both rich and poor. They are farmer and agriculturists, etc. Cantonese-Thais people intent to settle in Thailand. They are usually seeking the assistance from Thai people. Because of this, the relationship between Thai and Cantonese-Thais is created closely. About the status of Cantonese-Thais female, Cantonese-Thais females are weak, always believe in elder and husband. They are very polite, sympathized, grateful and strictly traditional. In writing techniques of non-fiction about Cantonese-Thais in Yuwadee Tongsakulrungruang's literary works, in order to name title and chapter, the author use the name of location, career, Cantonese food, Cantonese-Thai's characters and namese the fiction in Cantonese language. For this reason, the readers can understand the theme and the content easily. The readers also feel pleasant with the stories. For story introduction, the author introduces the story by raising the question, using introduction and use the Cantonese idioms for the purpose to make the stories interesting and obviously reveal the stories' theme. The author presents the stories interestigly which encourage the readers to enjoy and receive the benefits and knowledge in the same time. In term of closing the story, Yuwadee closes the stories by informing the objective, quoting, using songs and Chinese idioms to make the non-fiction full with knowledge, amusement and impress the reader to read till the end of each non-fiction's chapters. According to the use of language, the author use words, Chinese idioms, expression in order that the reader can understand the important content clearly without complication and provoke the reader's attention to follow next chapters. In writing techniques of fiction on Cantonese-Thais in Yuwadee Tongsakulrungruang's literary works, the author presents various themes for example, family, marriage and moral of Cantonese-Thais people to make the stories lively. For story plot, the author introduces the story by describing the scene showing the relationship betweeb characters in order to make the stories full with excitement. Yuwadee presents 3 kinds of conflicts; conflict between man and man, conflict between man and society and conflict in man's mind. This allows the reader's curiosity to follow next chapters. Moreover, the author closes the stories with comedy. The author tries to make the reader understanding that even though the characters pass the bad circumstances, they are hopeful and never give up. For characters, the author creates various characters that are lively and make the stories delighted. A part of scene, the author creates the outstanding scene with the daily life of characters to make the reader close to the stories. Lastly, for the conversation, the author creates natural conversation and matching with personality of characters. |
