ศึกษาปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อการออกเสียง พยัญชนะ สระ และวรรณยุกต์ในภาษาจีนกลางของนักศึกษาสาขาวิชาภาษาจีนและนักศึกษาคณะการแพทย์แผนจีน มหาวิทยาลัยหัวเฉียวเฉลิมพระเกียรติ

Abstract

การวิจัยนี้เป็นงานวิจัยพื้นฐาน มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อการออกเสียงพยัญชนะ เสียงสระ และเสียงวรรณยุกต์ ของนักศึกษา เพื่อให้ผู้สอนได้เข้าใจถึงปัจจัยและสาเหตุของปัญหาที่แท้จริงที่ทำให้นักศึกษาออกเสียงผิดและเพื่อเป็นข้อมูลนำไปใช้ปรับปรุงการเรียนการสอนให้เกิดประสิทธิภาพยิ่งขึ้น เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยครั้งนี้ ประกอบด้วยแบบสัมภาษณ์ 1 ชุด ชุดที่ 1 แบบทดสอบก่อนพยัญชนะ ชุดที่ 2 แบบทดสอบอ่านสระเดี่ยว สระประสม ชุดที่ 3 แบบทดสอบอ่านคำศัพท์เสียงพยางค์เดียว เสียงสองพยางค์และประโยคซึ่งประกอบด้วยพยัญชนะ สระ และวรรณยุกต์ ซึ่งทำการทดสอบโดยผู้เชี่ยวชาญชาวจีนเป็นผู้ทดสอบนักศึกษาวิชาเอกภาษาจีนจำนวน 30 คน และนักศึกษา คณะการแพทย์แผนจีนจำนวน 30 คน รวมทั้งหมด 60 คน ซึ่งจะทำการทดสอบทีละคน ในส่วนของการสร้างแบบสัมภาษณ์นั้น ผู้วิจัยได้สัมภาษณ์นักศึกษาสาขาวิชาภาษาจีนรหัส 51 เพื่อเก็บข้อมูลในการตั้งคำถามและนำแบบสัมภาษณ์ที่ได้ให้อาจารย์ในสาขาวิชาภาษาจีนและผู้เชี่ยวชาญตรวจแก้ไขปรับปรุงคำถามและการใช้ภาษาเพื่อให้มีความเหมาะสมและเที่ยงตรงตามเนื้อหา หลังจากนั้นผู้วิจัยจะเป็นผู้สัมภาษณ์นักศึกษาตามเนื้อหาแบบสัมภาษณ์ทีละคน แล้วนำผลที่ได้มาวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ผลการวิจัยพบว่า ปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อการออกเสียงพยัญชนะ เสียงสระ และเสียงวรรณยุกต์ในด้านการทดสอบนั้นสรุปได้ว่า 1) นักศึกษาวิชาเอกภาษาจีนและนักศึกษาคณะการแพทย์แผนจีนไม่สามารถอ่านพยัญชนะที่ไม่สามารถเทียบเสียงในภาษาไทยได้ 2) นักศึกษาไม่สามารถอ่านสระเสียงลักษณะควบกล้ำได้ 3) นักศึกษาไม่เข้าใจกฎเกณฑ์การอ่านสัทอักษร Pinyin อย่างถ่องแท้จึงทำให้สับสนในการอ่านสระที่มีการลดรูป 4) นักศึกษาอ่านวรรณยุกต์เสียงเบาเป็นเสียง 4 และมีปัญหาเรื่องการเปลี่ยนเสียงของวรรณยุกต์ 5) นักศึกษาคณะการแพทย์แผนจีนจะสับสนระหว่างการอ่านสัทอักษร Pinyin กับการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษ ด้านการสัมภาษณ์ 1) นักศึกษาสาขาวิชาภาษาจีนส่วนใหญ่แม้จะมีพื้นความรู้ภาษาจีนมาแล้ว แต่ยังคงอ่านผิดในพยัญชนะ สระ ที่ไม่สามารถเทียบกับภาษาไทยได้ 2) นักศึกษาคณะการแพทย์แผนจีนส่วนใหญ่ ไม่มีพื้นฐานความรู้ภาษาจีน แต่นักศึกษาให้ความสำคัญและมีเป้าหมายในการเรียนแพทย์แผนจีนจึงทำให้นักศึกษาค่อนข้างตั้งใจเรียน อีกทั้งชั่วโมงเรียนต่อสัปดาห์ของนักศึกษาคณะการแพทย์แผนจีนจะมากกว่านักศึกษาวิชาเอกภาษาจีน ดังนั้น ปริมาณการอ่านผิดของนักศึกษาจึงไม่มาก และที่อ่านผิดนั้นนักศึกษาสาขาวิชาภาษาจีนก็อ่านผิดด้วยสาเหตุเดียวกัน ผลการวิจัยครั้งนี้ จะเป็นประโยชน์ต่อสาขาวิชาและอาจารย์ผู้สอนในการวางแผนการเรียนการสอน การจัดทำแบบฝึกหัดตลอดจนแบบทดสอบเพื่อให้เหมาะกับผู้เรียนและหัวข้อการวิจัยที่ควรศึกษาต่อไป คือ การศึกษาเปรียบเทียบนักศึกษาที่ไม่มีพื้นความรู้ภาษาจีนมาก่อนกับนักศึกษาที่มีพื้นความรู้ภาษาจีน (ภาษาถิ่น) เพื่อเปรียบเทียบประสิทธิผลการเรียนรู้ระบบสัทอักษร Pinyin อีกทั้งยังศึกษาในด้านการเรียนรู้ของนักศึกษาทั้ง 4 ทักษะ คือ ฟัง พูด อ่านและเขียน เพื่อพัฒนาการเรียนสัทอักษร Pinyin ให้มีประสิทธิภาพ

The basic research is aimed to study the students pronunciations of Chinese consonant sounds, vowels, and tones to enable the teacher to identify the factors and causes of why students cannot pronounce correctly. The teacher them can apply and improve the teaching more effectively. The research device can be divided into 1) interviewing which includes reading consonants tests, 2) testing with single and compound vowels, and 3) testing single syllable words, two-syllable word, and sentences with different consonants, vowels, and tones. The tests are conducted with 30 Chinese students and 30 Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) students by Chinese professors. The professors will test one students at a time. The researcher creates the pilot interview by interviewing third year students so the interview can be adjusted and improved later. The interviews are corrected by Chinese professors in order to create the appropriate and valid content of the questions and the use of language. The researcher conducts the interview and analyzes data at the end. The findings about the factors affecting consonants, vowels, and tones in the tests are 1) students of both majors cannot pronounce the consonant sounds that are different from Thai. 2) students cannot pronounce the cluster vowels, 3) students do not understand pinyin rules correctly which leads to problems in pronouncing the reduction of vowel sounds, 4) students always pronounce low tone as sound 4 and have difficulties in changing the tone, 5) TCM students are confused between pinyin system and English. The findings about the interviewing are 1) even thoughts Chinese students have some basic in Chinese, they have problems in pronouncing sounds that are different from Thai, 2) most TCM studemts have no basic in Chinese, but all of them pay hard attention in classes because they have their goals in Chinese medicine. Alsol, TCM students have more Chinese classes in a week than Chinese students. These help them have less problems in pronouncing thost consonant sounds. And some TCM students have the same problems in reading as Chinese students do. This research result will be beneficial for the Chinese Department and instructors in planning the classes exercises, including testing to fit the students' levels. The next research should study the comparison of the students who have no Chinese basic and the ones who have Chinese basic (dialect) about the effectiveness if pinyin phonetic system. It can also be a study on the four skills of listening, speaking, reading, and writing to develop the students' ability in studying pinyin.
