Experience of Tourism Poverty Alleviation in China Provides New Ideas for Thailand - Taking Danzhai County, Guizhou Province as a Case Study

Abstract

Many countries in the world are facing with various kind of poverty issues. Within this kind of situation, China has eliminated poverty issues comprehensively, and has completed poverty alleviation plans of The Sustainable Development Goals by The United Nations earlier ten years. We can claim that China can solve the poverty issues with unprecedented speed and scale which has been recognized globally. Thailand is the country which is full of curiosity and expectation about the wisdom and experience of China's poverty alleviation, especially in tourism poverty alleviation. Tourism Poverty Alleviation in China not only provides strong support for poverty alleviation, but also becomes an important support for rural revitalization. This paper aims at analyzing the development of rural tourism in China by taking the experience from Poverty Alleviation in Danzhai County, Guizhou Province as a case study by starting from the stage of China's poverty alleviation process, China's tourism poverty alleviation related policies, and China's rural tourism development to assist poverty alleviation models in order to put forward new experience and ideas for Thailand's poverty alleviation and to provides information for further studies in related fields.

世界上许多国家都面临着各种形式的贫困问题。在这样的情况下，中国还能够全面消除贫困问题，提前十年完成联合国《可持续发展议程》的减贫目标，可以说是中国以前所未有的速度和规模解决了贫困问题，得到了全球的认可行。泰国对中国减贫的智慧和经验充满了好奇与期待，特别是在旅游扶贫方面，中国旅游扶贫不仅为脱贫攻坚提供了强大支持，同时也成为乡村振兴的重要支撑。本文将梳理中国乡村旅游发展情况，以贵州省丹寨县减贫经验为例，从中国扶贫历程阶段、中国旅游扶贫相关政策、中国乡村旅游发展助力扶贫模式等方面出发，为泰国脱贫提出新的经验与思路，并希望对相关领域研究有所帮助。
