Abstract

มุมมองที่แตกต่างย่อมมีผลกระทบอย่างสำคัญต่อการกำหนดนโยบายและการปฏิบัตินอกเหนือจากคุณูปการของคาร์ล มาร์กซ์ ที่อธิบายความยากจนและคนจน ด้วยเหตุปัจจัยด้านเศรษฐกิจแล้ว บทความนี้ยังได้นำเสนอทรรศนะอื่นๆ ทั้งด้านเศรษฐศาสตร์กระแสหลัก สังคมวิทยา และจิตวิทยา ที่เห็นว่าความยากจน และคนจน มีเหตุมาจากการถูกสกัดกั้น และถูกกีดกันจากสังคมในหลายๆ ทางอีกด้วย

Different approached can have significant impacts on policies and practices. Within this paper, a variety of perspectives regarding issues of poverty and the poor are presented. Besides Kal Marx’s contributions in elucidation with the concepts of economic determinism, another notions such as mainstream economic, sociological, and psychological outlooks are presented to manifest other feasible causes using a framework of social deprivation and exclusion.
