บทบาทของพระสงฆ์ในการส่งเสริมสวัสดิการสังคมและการทำงานสังคมสงเคราะห์ในยุคเปลี่ยนผ่านสู่สังคมดิจิทัล

Abstract

การวิจัยเรื่อง “บทบาทของพระสงฆ์ในการส่งเสริมสวัสดิการสังคม และการทำงานสังคมสงเคราะห์ในยุคเปลี่ยนผ่านสู่สังคมดิจิทัล” ใช้ระเบียบวิธีวิจัยแบบผสานวิธี (Mixed methods) เพื่อศึกษาความเชื่อมโยงปรัชญาของพุทธศาสนากับแนวคิดและทฤษฎีสวัสดิการสังคม และสังคมสงเคราะห์ ปัญหาอุปสรรค ข้อจำกัด และแนวทางการพัฒนาบทบาทของพระสงฆ์ในการส่งเสริมสวัสดิการสังคม และการทำงานสังคมสงเคราะห์เมื่อประเทศไทยเข้าสู่ยุคสังคมดิจิทัล ผลการศึกษาข้อมูลเชิงปริมาณ พบว่า ปัจจัยที่มีอิทธิพลที่ระดับนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ 0.05 กับความคิดเห็นต่อการประยุกต์ใช้หลักปรัชญาทางพระพุทธศาสนากับการส่งเสริมสวัสดิการสังคมและการทำงานสังคมสงเคราะห์ ได้แก่ ความถี่ในการร่วมกิจกรรมทางพระพุทธศาสนา, มหาวิทยาลัย, อาชีพผู้ปกครอง และรายได้ครัวเรือนต่อเดือน และปัจจัยที่มีอิทธิพลที่ระดับนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ 0.05 กับความคิดเห็นต่อปัญหาอุปสรรค และข้อจำกัดของพระสงฆ์ในการส่งเสริมสวัสดิการสังคม และการทำงานสังคมสงเคราะห์ ได้แก่ มหาวิทยาลัย ผลการศึกษาข้อมูลเชิงคุณภาพ พบว่า หลักปรัชญาทางพระพุทธศาสนาสำคัญที่นำมาประยุกต์ใช้ในการส่งเสริมสวัสดิการสังคมและสังคมสงเคราะห์ คือ สังคหวัตถุ 4 สอดคล้องกับหลักปรัชญางานสังคมสงเคราะห์ “help them to help themselves” ปัญหาอุปสรรค และข้อจำกัดของพระสงฆ์ในการส่งเสริมสวัสดิการสังคมและการทำงานสังคมสงเคราะห์ คือ ทัศนคติ ทั้งนี้การพัฒนาบทบาทของพระสงฆ์ในการส่งเสริมสวัสดิการสังคม และการทำงานสังคมสงเคราะห์ เมื่อประเทศไทยเข้าสู่ยุคสังคมดิจิทัล คือ พระสงฆ์ต้องรู้เท่าทันการเปลี่ยนแปลงทางสังคม รู้เท่าทันโลก รู้เท่าทันธรรม และทำงานเชิงรุก โดยข้อเสนอแนะมีดังนี้ 1) กรมการศาสนา กระทรวงวัฒนธรรม ต้องเป็นหน่วยงานหลักในการส่งเสริมและสนับสนุนการใช้เทคโนโลยีทำงานของพระสงฆ์ด้านการส่งเสริมสวัสดิการสังคม และสังคมสงเคราะห์ 2) สำนักงานเจ้าคณะทุกภาค ทุกจังหวัด และทุกอำเภอ ควรเพิ่มแผนกสวัสดิการสังคม และสังคมสงเคราะห์ และ 3) สำนักงานเจ้าคณะ ต้องร่วมมือกับสภาวิชาชีพสังคม ประยุกต์ใช้หลักปรัชญาของพุทธศาสนากับการส่งเสริมสวัสดิการสังคม และสังคมสงเคราะห์ โดยมีความสอดคล้องกับสังคมยุคดิจิทัล

The study titled “The Roles of Buddhist Monks in Promoting Social Welfare and Social Work in Changing Towards the Era of Digital Society” aims to investigate the correlation between Buddhist philosophy and models/theories related to social welfare, social work, as well as the obstacles and limitations faced by Buddhist monks. Additionally, it proposes ways to enhance the role of monks in fostering social welfare and social work in the context of this disruptive digital society. The study utilizes a quantitative approach, testing the hypotheses through T-test and ANOVA. The F-test reveals statistically significant factors at a significance level of 0.05, pertaining to opinions regarding the adaptation of Buddhist philosophy to support social welfare and social work. These factors include the frequency of Buddhist rituals, university, profession, and monthly household income. Furthermore, the results indicate a significance level of 0.05 in the correlation between obstacles and limitations faced by Buddhist monks in their support of social welfare and social work, specifically in relation to university. The research findings derived from the qualitative approach demonstrate that the adapted Buddhist philosophy supporting social welfare and social work is Sangkahavattu 4, which aligns with the social work philosophy of "help them to help themselves." The primary limitation identified regarding the encouragement of social welfare and social work by Buddhist monks in society is mindset. As Thailand transitions into a digital society, the roles of Buddhist monks in supporting social welfare and social work entail their awareness of the disruptive society, the disruptive world, Dhamma, and their proactive involvement. The recommendations put forth are as follows: 1) The Department of Religious Affairs, Ministry of Culture, should assume a central role in supporting the promotion of social welfare and social work by Buddhist monks. 2) The Office of Buddhism should establish divisions dedicated to social welfare and social work in all regions, provinces, and districts. 3) Collaboration between the Office of Buddhism and the Social Work Professions Council should be encouraged to apply Buddhist philosophy alongside frameworks and theories of social welfare and social work.
