Chinese language learners in Thailand directly use the parts of Thai tones that are similar to Chinese tones when learning Chinese tones. This simple mother tongue tone substitution is prone to problems such as insufficient tone value and difficulty in producing inflectional sounds. Long term use can easily lead to "fossilization" and is difficult to correct. This article explores the relationship between music pitch and Chinese tone pitch, in order to study the teaching method of using Chinese pop music to learn the notation singing method and using the notation to perceive Chinese tones pitch. The author used three methods in writing the paper: literature survey, questionnaire survey, and interdisciplinary research to study the tone learning situation of Thai Chinese intermediate level and above (HSK3-6 level) learners, and designed Chinese tone teaching methods that meet the learning characteristics and needs of Thai students. Through this paper, we hope to design a more effective, interesting, and suitable Chinese tone teaching classroom design for Thai Chinese learners based on the original tone teaching method, which can be used as a reference for Chinese language teaching in Thailand and even around the world in the future.
