การประเมินการจัดการความปลอดภัยในโรงพยาบาลและความสัมพันธ์กับอัตราความชุกของการเกิดอุบัติเหตุของพยาบาล : กรณีศึกษา โรงพยาบาลรัฐแห่งหนึ่งในกรุงเทพมหานคร

Abstract

การศึกษาวิจัยครั้งนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์ เพื่อการศึกษาการจัดการความปลอดภัยในโรงพยาบาลและความสัมพันธ์กับอัตราความชุกของการเกิดอุบัติเหตุของพยาบาล กรณีศึกษา โรงพยาบาลรัฐแห่งหนึ่งในกรุงเทพมหานคร โดยประชากรกลุ่มเป้าหมาย คือ พยาบาลวิชาชีพที่ปฏิบัติงานในโรงพยาบาลรัฐแห่งหนึ่งในกรุงเทพมหานคร จำนวน 280 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย คือ แบบสอบถาม การศึกษาพบว่าพยาบาลวิชาชีพที่ปฏิบัติงานในโรงพยาบาลรัฐแห่งหนึ่งในกรุงเทพมหานคร ส่วนใหญ่เป็นเพศหญิง มีอายุ 21-30 ปี และมีสถานภาพโสด ระดับการศึกษาปริญญาโทเป็นส่วนใหญ่ รายได้ส่วนใหญ่เฉลี่ย 25,001 -40,000 และปฏิบัติงานในกลุ่มงานวิชาการพยาบาล และมีประสบการณ์ไม่เกิน 1 ปีมากที่สุด การประเมินการจัดการความปลอดภัย พบว่าอยู่ในระดับมากและอัตราความชุกของการเกิดอุบัติเหตุอยู่ในระดับน้อย การจัดการความปลอดภัยด้านการจัดการสิ่งแวดล้อมทางกายภาพและความปลอดภัย ด้านการจัดการเครื่องมือและสาธารณูปโภค และด้านการจัดการสิ่งแวดล้อมเพื่อการสร้างสุขภาพและพิทักษ์สิ่งแวดล้อมความปลอดภัยด้านอาชีวอนามัย ในภาพรวมทุกด้านอยู่ในระดับมาก ประสบการณ์การได้รับบาดเจ็บจากอุบัติเหตุในการปฏิบัติงาน พบว่าอัตราความชุกของการได้รับบาดเจ็บจากอุบัติเหตุในการปฏิบัติงานมาจากสัมผัสสิ่งก่อให้เกิดความเจ็บป่วยจากการปฏิบัติงาน พบว่า ส่วนใหญ่มีประสบการณ์จากการถูกเข็มทิ่มตำ สิ่งคัดหลั่งผู้ป่วยกระเด็นเข้าปาก หรือเข้าตา และสูดดม หรือสัมผัสรังสีระหว่างการปฏิบัติงาน ผลการวิเคราะห์หาความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างการจัดการความปลอดภัยในโรงพยาบาลกับอัตราความชุกของการเกิดอุบัติเหตุของพยาบาล โดยรวมพบว่าไม่มีความสัมพันธ์กันในทุกด้าน

The purpose of this research was aimed to examine the safety management in the hospital and the relationship to the prevalence of incidents amonng nurses. A case study was a State hospital in Bangkok. The target population included 280 registered nurses who have worked for the public hospital in Bangkok. The questionnaires were used as instrument to gather data. The results showed as follows. The most common of the registered nurses that worked in the state hospital in Bangkok of Bangkok were single female, aged 21-30 years old, gradated the Master's Degree, average monthly income ranged between 25,001-40,000 Baht, work age and work experience was less than 1 years. The respondents reported the high level of safety management and low prevalence of accidents. Overall, they reported high level of safety management on physical environmental management and security, tools and utilities management, environmental management for health promotion and the environmental protection, occupational health and safety. Regarding to the experience of being injured while performing duty and the rate of prevalence of injuries from work-associated accident and the exposure to substances that causes an illness, most respondents reported the experience of being stabbed by needles, the secretions of patients splashed into the mouth, eyes, or inhaled and exposed to radiation during the operation. The hypothesis testing showed that there is no relationship between safety management and the rate of prevalence of injuries. In addition the occupational health and safety related with the rate of prevalence of injuries, there are not associated all.
