สัจนิยมมหัศจรรย์กับการนำเสนอแนวคิดในวรรณกรรมที่่เข้ารอบสุดท้ายรางวัลซีไรต์ พ.ศ. 2539-2564

Abstract

บทความนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อวิเคราะห์สัจนิยมมหัศจรรย์กับการนำเสนอแนวคิดในวรรณกรรมที่เข้ารอบสุดท้ายรางวัลซีไรต์ พ.ศ. 2539-2564 จากนวนิยาย 7 เล่ม และเรื่องสั้น 30 เรื่อง โดยใช้แนวคิดการนำเสนอแนวคิดในวรรณกรรมเป็นแนวทางในการศึกษา ผลการวิจัยพบว่า ผู้ประพันธ์ได้ใช้ตัวละครสัจนิยมมหัศจรรย์ เหตุการณ์มหัศจรรย์หรือฉากมหัศจรรย์มานำเสนอแนวคิดต่าง ๆ ได้แก่ แนวคิดเกี่ยวกับปรัชญาการใช้ชีวิต แนวคิดปัญหาทางสังคม แนวคิดเกี่ยวกับวัฒนธรรมพื้นบ้าน และแนวคิดการพัฒนา ดังนี้ 1) แนวคิดเกี่ยวกับปรัชญาการใช้ชีวิต ประกอบด้วยการยึดติดกับสิ่งใดสิ่งหนึ่งทำให้เกิดความทุกข์ ความรักความเมตตา ทำให้สังคมมีความอบอุ่น และการเป็นตัวเองเสริมให้โลกสวยงาม แนวคิดเหล่านี้ได้สอดคล้องกับหลักคำสอนของศาสนาพุทธและแนวคิดการใช้ชีวิตทั่วไป 2) แนวคิดปัญหาทางสังคม ประกอบด้วยการขาดความใส่ใจก่อให้เกิดปัญหาความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างบุคคล มนุษย์ใช้อำนาจในทางที่ผิด มนุษย์มุ่งแสวงหาผลประโยชน์ของตน ปัญหาเหล่านี้ได้กีดขวางความก้าวหน้าของสังคม 3) แนวคิดเกี่ยวกับวัฒนธรรมพื้นบ้าน ประกอบด้วยการเชิดชูภูมิปัญญาท้องถิ่นกับการยอมรับอำนาจเหนือธรรมชาติ แสดงให้เห็นถึงคุณค่าของภูมิปัญญาท้องถิ่นและความเชื่อถือผีสางเทวดาในสังคมไทย และ 4) แนวคิดการพัฒนา ประกอบด้วยการพัฒนาทำให้เกิดการผสมผสานทางวัฒนธรรมที่หลากหลาย และการพัฒนาเกิดการปะทะระหว่างความเชื่อดั้งเดิมกับสังคมสมัยใหม่ ผู้ประพันธ์ได้ใช้ความมหัศจรรย์มานำเสนอความจริงในสังคม

This research aims to analyze ideas presented in Magical Realism literary works of S.E.A. Write Award finalists, during 1996 – 2021. Seven novels and thirty short stories are studied and analyzed according to concepts of ideas presentation in literary works. The research finds that authors use magical realistic characters or incidents to presents four main ideas, as the following. 1) Ideas about living philosophy, including adhesion brings sufferings; being oneself could make the world beautiful; and love and kindness create warm society. These ideas are coherent with Buddhist teachings. 2) Ideas about social problems, including lack of attention cause interpersonal relationship problems; humans use their powers wrongly; and selfish people care only their own interest. These problems obstruct progresses of the society. 3) Ideas about folk culture, including praising of local wisdom; and recognition of supernatural powers. These reflect the value of local wisdom and beliefs in the supernatural in Thai society. 4) Ideas of development, including development has resulted in a variety of cultural mixes.; and development fight old beliefs with modern society. Authors apply the magical to present truths in the society.
