ภาพสะท้อนครอบครัวใหญ่ของคนไทยเชื้อสายจีนในนวนิยายไทย

Abstract

งานวิจัยเรื่อง ภาพสะท้อนครอบครัวใหญ่ของคนไทยเชื้อสายจีนในนวนิยายไทยมีจุดมุ่งหมายเพื่อวิเคราะห์ภาพสะท้อนวิถีชีวิตครอบครัวใหญ่ของคนไทยเชื้อสายจีนในนวนิยายไทย และวิเคราะห์บทบาทหน้าที่ของผู้ชายกับผู้หญิงในครอบครัวใหญ่ของคนไทยเชื้อสายจีนในนวนิยายไทย เรื่อง ลอดลายมังกร ดงดอกเหมย มงกุฎดอกส้ม แก๊งตี๋ตระกูลซ่ง จดหมายจากเมืองไทย ทายาทป๋องแป๋ง และหัวใจรักเกรดรีไฟน์ ผลการวิจัยพบว่าภาพสะท้อนวิถีชีวิตครอบครัวใหญ่ของคนไทยเชื้อสายจีนในนวนิยายไทย สะท้อนให้เห็นถึงวิถีชีวิตครอบครัวใหญ่ของคนไทยเชื้อสายจีน 3 ประเด็นหลัก คือ 1) สภาพความเป็นอยู่ ครอบครัวใหญ่ของคนไทยเชื้อสายจีนนิยมสร้างครอบครัวเป็นครอบครัวใหญ่ 2) การประกอบอาชีพ คนไทยเชื้อสายจีนรุ่นแรกที่อพยพจากเมืองจีนเข้าสู่เมืองไทยกับรุ่นลูกหลานที่เกิดในเมืองไทยมีความแตกต่างกัน คือ อาชีพของรุ่นแรก คือ การรับจ้างและการค้าขาย อาชีพของรุ่นลูกหลาน คือ การสืบทอดกิจการงานจากรุ่นแรกหรือมีอาชีพตามความฝันของตนเอง 3)วัฒนธรรมและขนบประเพณี คนไทยเชื้อสายจีนส่วนมากยังคงถือวัฒนธรรมและขนบประเพณีของตนเองไว้ในชีวิตประจำวัน ด้านบทบาทหน้าที่ผู้ชายกับผู้หญิงในครอบครัวใหญ่ของคนไทยเชื้อสายจีนในนวนิยายไทย สะท้อนให้เห็นถึงบทบาทหน้าที่ผู้ชายกับผู้หญิงที่แตกต่างอย่างชัดเจนบทบาทหน้าที่ผู้ชายในฐานะที่เป็นพ่อสะท้อนให้เห็นว่าพ่อเป็นผู้อบรมและสั่งสอนลูกหลานและเป็นแบบอย่างที่ดีแก่ลูกหลาน ในฐานะลูกชายมีหน้าที่แสดงความกตัญญูต่อพ่อแม่ และความรับผิดชอบงานของครอบครัว ในฐานะสามีจะเป็นผู้นำครอบครัว ทำมาหากินเพื่อเลี้ยงสมาชิกครอบครัวบทบาทหน้าที่ผู้หญิงในฐานะแม่ แม่จะเป็นผู้อบรมและสั่งสอนให้ลูกหลานทำความดี แสดงความรักต่อลูกหลานอย่างทะนุถนอม เป็นแบบอย่างที่ดีแก่ลูกหลาน ในฐานะลูกสาว เป็นผู้ที่มีความกตัญญูเวทีต่อพ่อแม่เรียบร้อย เคารพผู้ใหญ่ กตัญญูต่อพ่อแม่ และเชื่อฟังผู้ใหญ่ ในฐานะภรรรยา มีหน้าที่ให้กำเนิดลูกหลานแก่ครอบครัวสามี เคารพสามี เป็นกำลังให้สามี ดูแลงานบ้าน มีความกตัญญูต่อผู้อาวุโส

This research aimed to syudy reflections of the Chinese-Thai big family in Thai novels in order to analyze the roles of males and females in the family. The studied works are Lod-Lai-Mungkorn (A Life of the Dragon), Dong-Doc-Mei (A Graden of Flowers), Mongkud-Doc-Som (A Wreath of Lemon Blossoms), Kang-Tee-Trakoon-Song (The Song Brothers), Jodmai-Jak-Meung-Thai (Letters from Thailand), Tayard-Pongpang (The Unexpected Heir), and Haujai-Ruk-Grade-Refine (The Refined Heart). The research found three major reflections of the Chinese-Thai big family in Thai novels, which are: 1)the basic idea of holding a big family; 2) the different professions between the first Chinese immigrants and the second Chinese generation born in Thailand, most of the former are laborers or traders, while the latter run their parental business or enter expected careers; and 3) the practice of Chinese traditions in the daily routine, which most Chinese-Thais stick to. Regarding the roles of males and females in the big family of Chinese-Thais, the studied novels reflect distinctive roles. The paternal role of a male mainly involes cultivating children and being a good role model for them. When in the role of a son, the major responsibility is taking good care of the parents and practicing the family duties. As a husband, a male is expected to lead his family by earning sufficient for the living of every member. For the maternal role of a female, the responsibilities are nursing the children, being a good role model, and cultivating the young with basic morals. When being a daughter, a female is expected to be humble, obedient, and grateful to the parents. As a wife, the major role of a female is delivering healthy children for her husband's family, supporting her spouse, running the household business, and paying respect to the seniors in the family.
