การวิเคราะห์สารัตถะ อนุภาค และภาพสะท้อนที่ปรากฏในนิทานธรรมบท

Abstract

การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อวิเคราะห์สารัตถะ อนุภาค และภาพสะท้อนที่ปรากฏในนิทานธรรมบทโดยใช้ระเบียบวิธีวิจัยเอกสารจากอรรถกถาธรรมบท 8ภาค จํานวน 302 เรื่อง นําข้อมูลมาวิเคราะห์เชิงเนื้อหาแล้วนําเสนอเป็นรายงานการวิจัยแบบพรรณนาวิเคราะห์ ผลการวิจัยพบว่า เรื่องเล่าในอรรรถกถาธรรมบทมีลักษณะเด่นในฐานะนิทานอธิบายเหตุ นิทานศาสนา และนิทานคติสอนใจที่สื่อสาระสําคัญผ่านแก่นเรื่อง โครงเรื่อง เนื้อเรื่อง คาถาคําอธิบายคาถา ตัวละคร การปิดเรื่อง ฉากหรือสถานที่ และคติธรรมที่ผู้แต่งนํามาเป็นสื่อสอนธรรมในฐานะบุคคลาธิษฐานเพื่อสร้างความเข้าใจธรรมบทที่เป็นธัมมาธิษฐานให้จับต้องได้ง่ายขึ้น อนุภาคที่ลักษณะพิเศษ น่าอัศจรรย์ เหนือธรรมชาติพบ 3 ประการ คืออนุภาคตัวละครทั้งมนุษย์ อมนุษย์ และสัตว์ที่ผู้แต่งนํามาเป็นสื่อสอนธรรม อนุภาควัตถุหรือสิ่งของที่สื่อถึงอํานาจแห่งธรรม พลังศรัทธาและกุศลเจตนา เครื่องหมายของปุพเพกตปุญญตา และความยิ่งใหญ่ของพระพุทธศาสนา อนุภาคเหตุการณ์เกี่ยวกับพระพุทธเจ้าบรรพชิตทั้งในและนอกพระพุทธศาสนา มนุษย์ เทวดา สัตว์ เหตุการณ์ทางสังคมและธรรมชาติที่สื่อให้เห็นบารมีธรรมของแต่ละบุคคล คติความเชื่อทางสังคม และภาพสะท้อนความจริงเกี่ยวกับชีวิตและสังคมที่พบในหลายมิติช่วยให้เห็นถึงความเชื่อมต่อระหว่างอดีตกับปัจจุบันหลายเรื่องโดยเฉพาะคตินิยมการทําบุญ เช่น การสร้างศาสนวัตถุศาสนสถานที่ใหญ่โต สวยงาม การอธิษฐานหลังทําบุญ และการอุทิศกุศลให้แก่ญาติที่เสียชีวิตไปแล้ว เป็นต้น

The objective of this research is to analyze the Essences, Motifs and Reflections manifested in the stories in the Dhammapada. The study employed documentary research methodology, drawing upon eight volumes of the Dhammapada Commentary comprising a total of 302 stories. The collected data were subjected to content analysis and subsequently presented as a narrative analysis research report. The findings of the research are as follows: The study reveals that the narratives in the Dhammapada Commentary function as religious, explanatory, and didactic Stories, conveying essential meanings through themes, plots, verses, characters, and moral lessons. Three distinctive Motifs were identified: (1) characters-humans, non-humans, and animals used as pedagogical devices; (2) objects symbolizing the power of the Dhamma, faith, past merits, and the grandeur of Buddhism; and (3) events involving the Buddha, monastics, deities, humans, animals, and natural or social phenomena, reflecting spiritual perfections, social beliefs, and realities of life. These elements highlight the continuity between past and present, particularly in merit-making practices such as constructing religious monuments, making vows, and dedicating merit to deceased relatives.
