ความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างตัวละครหญิงกับความเชื่อเรื่องเหนือธรรมชาติในนวนิยาย แนว Romantic Suspense ของปองวุฒิ รุจิระชาคร

Abstract

บทความนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาตัวละครหญิงกับความเชื่อเรื่องเหนือธรรมชาติในนวนิยายแนว Romantic Suspense ของปองวุฒิ รุจิระชาคร จํานวน 10 เรื่องโดยใช้แนวคิดสตรีนิยมเป็นกรอบในการวิเคราะห์ ใช้วิธีการวิเคราะห์ตัวบทนวนิยายและนําเสนอผลการศึกษาในลักษณะพรรณนาวิเคราะห์ ผลการศึกษาพบว่าความเชื่อเรื่องเหนือธรรมชาติไม่ได้ทําหน้าที่เพียงสร้างบรรยากาศลี้ลับหรือความตื่นเต้นเท่านั้นแต่ยังมีความสําคัญต่อการกําหนดโครงเรื่องและต่อการสร้างตัวละครหญิงดังนี้ ประการแรก ในนวนิยายปรากฏความเชื่อเรื่องเหนือธรรมชาติหลายประเภท ได้แก่ วิญญาณ ไสยศาสตร์ วัตถุลึกลับและพื้นที่หรือโลกคู่ขนาน ซึ่งแตbละประเภททําหน้าที่ต่างกัน ทั้งการเปิดเผยอดีตที่ถูกปกปิด การเพิ่มแรงกดดันทางอารมณ์ และการดึงตัวละครหญิงเข้าสู่เหตุการณ์อันตรายที่หลีกเลี่ยงไม่ได้ ประการที่สอง ตัวบทสร้างตัวละครหญิงให้สัมพันธ์กับโลกของอารมณ์ สัญชาตญาณ และความทรงจํา ผ่านคุณลักษณะเด่น เช่น ความอ่อนไหว ญาณรับรู้พิเศษ และความหวาดกลัว ซึ่งมิใช่การลดทอนพลัง หากเป็`นจุดตั้งต้นของการเรียนรู้ การเผชิญหน้า และการเติบโตของตัวละคร ประการสุดท้าย ความเชื่อเรื่องเหนือธรรมชาติมีความสําคัญในระดับโครงเรื่องทั้งในการสร้างปมขัดแย้ง ผลักดันการคลี่คลายปม และสะท้อนความสัมพันธ์เชิงอํานาจที่ใช้ ความเชื่อควบคุมผู้หญิง อย่างไรก็ดี ในหลายเรื่องตัวบทแสดงให้เห็นว่าผู้หญิงสามารถต่อรอง ตั้งคําถาม เปิดโปง และท้าทายอํานาจชายเป็นใหญ่ผ่านการเผชิญหน้าและเอาชนะพลังลี้ลับได้ในท้ายที่สุด

This article aims to examine the relationship between female characters and beliefs in the supernatural in ten Romantic Suspense novels by Pongwut Rujirachakorn. The study adopts feminist theory as its analytical framework and employs textual analysis, presenting the findings in a descriptive-analytical form. The results demonstrate that the supernatural does not merely serve to create a mysterious or thrilling atmosphere, but also plays an important role in shaping the plot and constructing female characters. First, various types of supernatural elements appear in the novels, including spirits, occult practices, mysterious objects, and parallel or liminal spaces. Each type serves different narrative functions, such as revealing hidden pasts, intensifying emotional pressure, and drawing female characters into unavoidable dangerous situations. Second, the texts construct female characters in close relation to emotions, intuition, and memory, as reflected in key traits such as sensitivity, extrasensory perception, and fear. These traits do not weaken female characters; rather, they serve as the starting point for their learning, confrontation, and development.Finally, the supernatural plays a crucial structural role in the narrative by creating conflict, driving resolution, and reflecting power relations in which beliefs are used to control women. However, in many cases, the texts show that female characters are able to negotiate, question, expose, and challenge patriarchal power through their confrontation with and eventual overcoming of supernatural forces.
