ความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างความรอบรู้ด้านบุหรี่ไฟฟ้าและพฤติกรรมเสี่ยงต่อการใช้บุหรี่ไฟฟ้าของนักศึกษาพยาบาล

Abstract

วัตถุประสงค์:เพื่อศึกษาความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างความรอบรู้ด้านบุหรี่ไฟฟ้า และพฤติกรรมเสี่ยงต่อการใช้บุหรี่ไฟฟ้าของนักศึกษาพยาบาล วัสดุและวิธีการ:การวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงพรรณนากลุ่มตัวอย่างคือนักศึกษาพยาบาลชั้นปีที่1-4 จำนวน 257 คนได้จากการสุ่มแบบแบ่งชั้นตามสัดส่วนและสุ่มอย่างง่ายการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลใช้แบบสอบถามออนไลน์ ซึ่งแบ่งเป็น 3 ส่วนได้แก่ (1) ชั้นปี (2) ความรอบรู้ด้านบุหรี่ไฟฟ้า (3) พฤติกรรมเสี่ยงต่อการใช้บุหรี่ไฟฟ้าแบบสอบถามมีค่าความตรงเชิงเนื้อหา (IOC) อยู่ในช่วง 0.67–1.00 และมีค่าความเชื่อมั่นเท่ากับ0.91การวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลใช้สถิติเชิงพรรณนา ได้แก่ ความถี่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย และส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐานและสถิติเชิงอนุมานได้แก่การแปลผลค่าเฉลี่ยและค่าสัมประสิทธิ์สหสัมพันธ์เพียร์สัน ผล : พบว่านักศึกษาพยาบาลมีความรอบรู้ด้านบุหรี่ไฟฟ้าโดยรวมอยู่ในระดับสูง และมีพฤติกรรมเสี่ยงต่อการใช้บุหรี่ไฟฟ้าโดยรวมอยู่ในระดับต่านอกจากนี้ความรอบรู้ด้านบุหรี่ไฟฟ้าโดยรวมและรายทักษะทั้ ง4ทักษะได้แก่ทักษะการสื่อสารเรื่องบุหรี่ไฟฟ้า ทักษะการจัดการตนเองเพื่อแสดงพฤติกรรมการป้องกันบุหรี่ไฟฟ้า ทักษะการตัดสินใจเพื่อปฏิเสธและหลีกเลี่ยงบุหรี่ไฟฟ้า และทักษะการรู้เท่าทันสื่อบุหรี่ไฟฟ้ามีความสัมพันธ์เชิงลบกับพฤติกรรมเสี่ยงต่อการสูบบุหรี่ไฟฟ้าอย่างมีนัยส าคัญทางสถิติ (p<0.01) สรุป:นักศึกษาพยาบาลที่มีความรอบรู้ด้านบุหรี่ไฟฟ้าในระดับสูงมีแนวโน้มจะมีพฤติกรรมเสี่ยงต่อการใช้บุหรี่ไฟฟ้าในระดับต่าดังนั้นการส่งเสริมความรอบรู้ด้านบุหรี่ไฟฟ้าจึงเป็นแนวทางที่สาคัญในการลดพฤติกรรมเสี่ยงต่อการใช้บุหรี่ไฟฟ้าของนักศึกษาพยาบาล

Objectives: To examine the relationship between e-cigarette literacy and risk behaviors related to e-cigarette use among nursing students. Material and Methods: This descriptive research study involved a sample of 257 nursing students from years 1 to 4, selected through proportional stratified random sampling and simple random sampling. Data were collected via an online questionnaire consisting of three sections: (1) academic year, (2) e-cigarette literacy, and (3) e-cigarette smoking risk behaviors. The questionnaire demonstrated content validity indices (IOC) ranging from 0.67 to 1.00 and a reliability coefficient of 0.91. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics: frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation and inferential statistics: mean interpretation and Pearson’s correlation coefficient. Results: Nursing students exhibited an overall high level of e-cigarette literacy and an overall low level of risk behavior related to e-cigarette use. Furthermore, the overall e-cigarette literacy and its four skill domains-communication, self-management, decision-making for refusal and avoidance, and media literacy were negatively correlated with risk behaviors related to e-cigarette use (p < 0.01). Conclusion: Nursing students with higher levels of e-cigarette literacy tended to exhibit lower levels of risk behavior related to e-cigarette use. Therefore, enhancing e-cigarette literacy serves as an important approach to reducing risk behaviors related to e-cigarette use among nursing students.
