Abstract

วรรณกรรมจีนในประเทศไทยถือเป็นเพชรที่ผ่านการเจียระไนจากวัฒนธรรมสองชาติ เช่นเดียวกับวรรณกรรมจีนในประเทศอื่นๆ ที่มีชาวเชื้อสายจีนอาศัยอยู่ วรรณกรรมเชื้อสายจีนไม่เพียงมีนัยสำคัญแบบจีนในวรรณกรรมโลก แต่ยังมีลักษณะเฉพาะตัวประจำท้องถิ่นของประเทศนั้นๆ วรรณกรรมเชื้อสายจีนเกิดจากการหลอมรวม กลมกลืนและผสมผสานระหว่างวัฒนธรรมจีนและวัฒนธรรมท้องถิ่นตามแหล่งที่อยู่ต่างๆ ของชาวเชื้อสายจีนทุกแห่งในโลก นักประพันธ์ชาวไทยเชื้อสายจีน ได้สร้างสรรค์ผลงานวรรณกรรมอย่างไม่รู้จักเหน็ดเหนื่อยเพื่อเชื่อมโยงวัฒนธรรมจีนจากแหล่งบ้านเกิดของตนให้เข้ากับวัฒนธรรมท้องถิ่นแสดงให้เห็นถึงรากเหง้าแห่งความเป็น "ชาวไทยเชื้อสายจีน" และยังหวังส่งเสริมและสืบสานวัฒนธรรมจีนให้คงอยู่ตลอดไป แม้ว่านักประพันธ์นามว่า "หม่าฝาน" จะอาศัยอยู่ในประเทศไทยก็ตาม แต่เขามีความเข้าใจต่อวัฒนธรรมและประเพณีจีนอย่างลึกซึ้ง ผลงานเขียนของเขาสืบทอด "การตีแผ่ความจริง" ซึ่งได้รับอิทธิพลแนวคิดแบบวรรณกรรมแห่งความจริง (Realism Literature) เมื่อครั้ง "การเคลื่อนไหวในเหตุการณ์วันที่ 4 พฤษภาคคม ค.ศ. 1919" หัวใจงานเขียนของเขาไม่ได้เน้นความกระหายใฝ่รู้ต่อความแปลกประหลาดหรือเพื่อระบายความเหงาในจิตใจ แต่เป็นงานเขียนที่ตีแผ่ความคิดและความรู้สึกความห่วงใยต่อสังคมและชีวิตของเพื่อนมนุษย์ตามที่พบเห็นมา หม่าฝานใช้วิธีการนำตัวเองเข้าไปสู่สังคม มองดูความเปลี่ยนแปลงของจิตใจและการหลั่งไหลเข้ามาของจิตวิญญาณแห่งความเป็นจีนแบบดั้งเดิมซึ่งเกิดขึ้นในช่วงการเปลี่ยนแปลงของสังคมไทย ขณะที่หม่าฝากวิพากษ์วิจารณ์ความฟอนเฟะของสังคม เขายังได้แสดงความเห็นอกเห็นใจต่อผู้คนที่ประพฤติดีและเรียกร้องหาสิ่งที่งดงามและอนาคตที่ดีกว่า หม่าฝานตีแผ่สภาพสังคมจากมุมมองอันแหลมคมและลึกซึ้ง ก่อเกิดโลกแห่งงานเขียนของหม่าฝานที่เต็มไปด้วยปรัชญาอันลึกล้ำ นำเสนอในเรื่องราวต่างๆ ด้วยเนื้อหาที่โดดเด่นแฝงไว้ซึ่งความดีงาม ความเลวร้าย ความสุขและความทุกข์แห่งชีวิตของผู้คนในสังคม งานเขียนของหม่าฝานในรูปแบบของเรื่องสั้นขนาดสั้นนั้นโดดเด่นไปด้วยความเฉียบคม ลึกซึ้ง เหนือจริง ประชดประชัน และแฝงด้วยอารมณ์ขัน ด้วยการใช้วิธีบรรยายเกินจริงเพื่อเน้นเนื้อหาของการวิพากย์วิจารณ์ และยังได้ใช้วิธีการ "หักมุม" แบบอุปรากรจีนจนกลายเป็นวิธีการเขียนเฉพาะตัวอันโดดเด่นของเขา

Thai Chinese literature like that in other countries is the fruit of the course of overseas Chinese' favorite "dual home" essentially. It not only has the basic elements of Chinese literature in the world, but also has its own unique personality traits. It is the most harmonious kind of literature which combines the Chinese culture and the host countries' culture most closely. The reason why Thai Chinese writers engage tirelessly in Chinese literature is that they dedicate to the transculturation of the original rural culture and local culture and make their "Thai Chinese" cultural idenity to express more vividly, at the same time let Chinese culture inherit and carry forward better. Although the Thai Chinese writer Ma Fan living in a foreign land, he has a deeper insight into Chinese culture and tradition, and inherited the literary creation of Chinese literature. "Writings are for conveying truth", and he was influenced by the spirit of the new literary realism sinec "the May 4th Movement". So his creation is not for curiosity-seeking and narrating uniquely, nor is to resolve the lonely state of mind, but use literature as the carrier to describe his own thoughts and feelings, and express his concern about society and life. He cut into the social life by the attitude of going into the society, follow the creation of realistic ways and strive to reveal the traditional humanistic spirit landslides and distortion the human mind of Thai society during the social transition; while critizing social evilphenomenon, it also showed enthusiasm for sympathy of kindhearted people and longing for the beautiful things. He cut into the social life by a keen perspective, and targeted the focal point to the kaleidoscopic world, and wrote a lot of stories with philosophical meanings which performed a "beautiful, ugly, sweey, bitter" social life and fully played the advantage of mininovel-sharp, exaggerated, satire and humorous, rendering the use of foreshadowing critical approach to strengthen critizing efforts, learning from the drama, useing the means of artistic expressin "peripeteia", showing a distinctive artistic characteristics.

泰华文学与其他国别的华文文学一样, 从本质上讲是海外华人心系 “双重家园” 历程的结晶。它既拥有世界华文文学的基本要素, 又有着自己独特的个性特征。它是中华文化与华人所在国文化最为融洽、和谐、结合得最紧密的一种文学。泰华作家之所以孜孜不倦地从事华文文学创作, 就是致力于将原乡文化与本土文化相嫁接, 使自己 “泰国华人” 的文化身份得到更鲜明的体现, 同时也让中华文化得到更好的传承与发扬。

泰国华文作家马凡虽然生活在异邦，但对中华文化传统领悟较深，他的文学创作承继了中国文学 “文以载道” 的传统，并受到 “五四” 以来新文学现实主义精神的熏陶，因而他的创作，不是为了猎奇述异，更不是为了排解百无聊赖的寂寞心绪，而是以文学为载体，抒写自己的所见所感所思，表达自己对社会人生的关注。他以入世的态度切入社会生活，遵循现实主义的创作方法，着力揭示泰国社会转型时期所产生的传统人文精神滑坡和人的心灵的扭曲；在批判社会丑陋现象的同时，也热情地表现了对善良者的同情和对美好事物的憧憬与呼唤。他以敏锐的视角切入社会生活，把聚焦点对准了万花筒般的世界，写作了许多具有哲理意义的寓言故事，表现 “美的、丑的、甜的、 苦的” 社会生活景况，并且充分发挥了微型小说尖锐、犀利、夸张、讽刺、 幽默之长，运用铺垫渲染的手法来强化批判力度，借鉴了戏剧的 “突转” 艺术手法，显示出鲜明的艺术特色。
