ภาพสะท้อนคนไทยเชื้อสายจีนในละครโทรทัศน์ไทย

Abstract

งานวิจัยเรื่องนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อวิเคราะห์ภาพชีวิตและบทบาทของตัวละครคนไทยเชื้อสายจีนในละครโทรทัศน์ไทย จำนวนสามเรื่อง ได้แก่ เรื่องหงส์เหนือมังกร เสน่ห์นางงิ้ว และมงกุฎดอกส้ม ผลการวิจัยพบว่าละครโทรทัศน์ได้สะท้อนภาพของวิถีชีวิตของคนไทยเชื้อสายจีนมีลักษณะตามแบบบรรพบุรษและเปลี่ยนแปลงไปในด้านการสร้างครอบครัว การประกอบอชีพ ระบบความเชื่อ การอบรมเลี้ยงดูเด็ก ประเพณีและพิธีกรรม รวมทั้งค่านิยมในด้านอำนาจและเงินทอง ความซื่อสัตย์ นอกจากนี้ละครโทรทัศน์ยังแสดงให้เห็นถึงบทบาทของตัวละครที่เป็นคนไทยเชื้อสายจีนในฐานะเป็นผู้นำและผู้ตามที่เหมาะสมกับเพศ รวมทั้งสถานภาพในครอบครัวและสังคม

The aim of this research study is to analyze the lives and roles of Chinese-Thai characters in three soap opera series on Thai television : Hong Nue Mangkorn, Saneh Nang Ngew, and Mongkut Dok Som. The study shows that the lifestyle of Chinese-Thais that is presented in the soap series complies with that of their ancestor. However, reflections of lifestyle of Chinese-Thais in three television series also suggest that three have been changes in raising a family, working belief system, child rearing, customs, ceremonies, values in power and wealth, and honesty. Moreover, the television series also present Chinese-Thai characters performing the roles of leader and follower that are appropriate for gender and status in the families and the society.
